Recommend letting it fully drain, then try.

When device is charging should be hot, or not?, the device is cool.
Thanks.
Now after 11 hours chain I disconnect, connect again and show 100% I switch on and sow 78%.
I don't understand, some idea?
Thanks
SOLVED.... INCREDIBLE... I was charging the tab with a USB cable extended, today I tried to charge without it and works perfectly.
Conclusion, use only the original cable without extender cable.....

Battery is fully charged, but the device does not turn on
Plug device into the provided HTC wall charger that came with the device.
Press and hold the Power, Volume up and Volume down keys for 1 - 2 full minutes. The battery should re-calibrate and the device will then turn on.

Fell asleep last night with the turbo charger plugged in and a YouTube playlist going, phone was at least 120 degrees all around after being on for 4 hours straight. Brightness was a few ticks above 0.
well yeah that's not a smart move at all lol. it's well known the turbo charger alone when screen is off gets the phone to around 107....

I think I'll just use a standard USB type b charger unless I really need to use the turbo charger, that heat will weaken the battery over time
Modern TurboCharge tech is not like the old stuff. It won't harm the battery.

that's what i do. i use my tab s charger overnight because it's slower..i don't need it charging to 100 within 30 minutes of me going to bed...so i let it slow charge.
Turbo Charger will not affect the battery more than any other normal charger, it slows down at 75-80% to reduce heat
Theres a big difference between overheating and getting warm

Yeah but won't that heat have an effect on battery performance after awhile?
Im not a tech guy but i guess by 2015 they would have solved that issue

I usually have mine on the turbo charger while playing angry birds. Doesn't seem to get that hot after an hour or two, but maybe YouTube is different.
Do you have a Google Play Music subscription? I can do background playback, so I wouldn't need to have my screen on.
Using the phone in the car it stays on the charger. At work it's on a charger when it gets low as well. By the time I'm home, it's still got a substantial amt of battery left so anything over 80% I just turn the phone off for the night and charge it in the car or at home the next day to full. It rarely gets below 40%....
my 2 cents... i leave it on the slow charger overnight but earlier today i was running a comcast tv app and streaming it for 2 hours to my tv. my battery heated to 125F
New moto x style here.. I did notice the phone feel warmer using with plugged in charger and apps downloading in the background

So my battery only charges up to 61%. I've already changed the battery, let it run down to 0% and left it charging all night, flashed stock, factory reset, everything. I bought this phone refurbished. What else can I try?
Also, when charged at 61% gsam shows me the battery has 4200~4300 mV. But it goes down pretty quickly to about 45/50%.
Thanks in advance
Anyone knows anything?

Got in the new S8+ from Verizon and my battery was totally dead at 0% when I took it out of the box.
I've had a million new phones and never had one at 0% right out of the box.
It also seems to be charging pretty slow.
Anyone else have a dead battery right out of the box?
I have it charged to 100% and everything seems fine but I'm wondering if I should exchange this phone or not?
Mine came in at 56%, and took about 45 minutes to fully charge to 100%. The slow charging would concern me. How long did it take to get to 100%, and have you noticed it discharging disproportionately?
Weak batteries tend to charge faster rather than slower (because they have less capacity). Based on the previews the S8/S8+ both charge from 0-100% in 100 minutes.
Mine came in at 35%

Mine had about 50 percent. My wife's too. They both slow charged the first charge and neither has done it since. Both are perfectly fine and our batteries last forever. You will be fine as long as it's discharging properly and it shouldn't slow charge again

Hello everyone!
I have a doubt about the battery's life of cell phones. Is it harmfull to charge the phone several (2, 3 or 4) times per day? Something like using it until it 20%, then charge it again up to 80%, and so on...
Can anyone help me?
I have Xiaomi Mi 9.
Thanks!
