Pixel not charging - Google Pixel Questions & Answers

Bought a pixel on eBay and it was working a bit. Screen sometimes goes static and random reboots and shutdown. Earpiece and speaker works sometimes. I had ubreakifix replace screen and battery and now it doesn't charge. When they returned it showed 17% and shutdown and no longer noots. Computer doesn't recognize the phone. Any help?

Did you contact ubreakifix? Maybe it's covered by warranty if they changed the battery, and now it does not charge. Especially if you tell them that the phone was able to be charged before the repair.
I got similar issues with my phone like those you had:
Sometimes the phone freezes, then the screen flickers shortly, then it's off, after a few seconds it reboots. Do you think this can be caused by a weak battery?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Problem: phone dies randomly, sometimes for days...

Hi all,
I would really appreciate some help with my issue on the HTC One S. I've been looking for a solution for weeks now and still don't have a clue on what it could be happening.
The PROBLEM is this: sometimes my One S turns off suddenly. Next, I turn it on but it is very likely to do the same again in a few minutes. If I am lucky, it turns on and works for a while (which can be from hours to days), but if I'm not, the phone is completely dead (not even responding to charge and no matter how I try to boot it) for hours or even days. Finally, I get it again to life when I see it starts charging the battery (always from zero... even if it died at 80% battery).
I had a video on youtube to show you what it happens. What a pity I can't post it here cause of xda-developers rules!
Do you guys have any idea if this could be a battery issue/software issue or anything else?
Additional information:
-Glass is broken (phone works perfectly) but didn't have this issue for one month since the incident.
-Phone has been working now for 2 weeks (it will do it again... I'm quite sure)
-I dropped the phone into the snow a few days before it started to act like this, but dried it quickly.
Sounds like faulty battery or faulty battery connection. That would require opening up the device and either replacing or reconnecting the battery.
Thanks, it is always good to have a second opinion, two minds always think better than one
Just in case anyone else would like to give his opinion, this are other (maybe) useful symptoms: phone reboots in the middle of the night, or, if already turned off, it turns on (and off again sometimes) by its own. Also, sometimes, just before turning off, screen freezes for 1 or 2 seconds. The phone has its bad and good days (thankfully good days are more frequent as time passes), but, in its bad days, it turns off many many times and sometimes it doesn't even completely reboot, I just see first screen then nothing.
Also I have been using car chargers not from HTC in the same while the phone used to have this behaviour (like the Kindle car charger). Actually, once, while using one I bought on eBay, I got a message saying something like "phone has been disconnected from charger to avoid damage".
What could this mean? Battery fault can make this? I appreciate any similar experience or opinions
Bateries are durable now days, I'm afraid that the snow got into your phone and caused a short circuit on motherboard.

Nexus 5 shutting down on its own and will not boot up

Hey everyone, I am facing a very unusual problem. My phone few days back turned off on its own in spite of having enough charge in the battery. When I pressed the power button to start the phone, it won't start!!! I plug in the charger but nothing happens. No charging symbol nothing.
I take the phone to service center. Representative over there tells me it's the charging IC problem and it needs to be replaced. I said OK and he replaced it. Phone turns on and it's charging and everything is fine.
I go home and I am using it and suddenly it reboots on its own. This happens multiple times at irregular intervals of time. After a few hours phone shuts down again and won't start. Again back to ground zero.
Anyone who can help? What do you think, is it hardware or software issue?.
Running Android 5.1 and not rooted.
Is the battery physically damaged?

SG6 lags, then freezes, then black screen when battery gets to 65% full

I bought a used GS6 a few days ago and several times the phone has either randomly rebooted, froze up, black screen, laggy etc. Several times when this has happened it appears as though the phone is still on but there is a black screen. Other times the phone just shuts completely off as far as I can tell. When this happens sometimes I can power down with pwr+vol down and get into the service screen. Other times I can't do anything at all with the phone for several minutes. In all cases when I plug it into the charger and let it charge a while it seems to come back to life.
At first I assumed this was a software problem, but after 3 data factory resets that does not appear to be the case. The problem crops up almost right away after the reset.
Then I noticed these issues always seem to start happening when the battery level gets down to about 65%. This is consistent. I can find no other consistent reason why these problems happen. When the phone is fully charged I don't seem to get these problems.
Any ideas what could be the actual problem (bad battery, bad main board, bad...) and any solutions? Thanks in advance.

G Flex 2 keeps shutting down

I recently dropped my phone on the ground and the glass is now broken. But it worked normally for about 14 days. Then suddenly one day at work it shut down on its own. After that I wasn't able to start it. No reaction for any of the buttons, nor their combinations. Even when I plugged the charger in, no sign of life. I thought it's over.
Then the next day, I plugged the charger in and the screen with 0% battery appeared. So I left it charging, but when I came back to it (20 minutes) it was dead again. Not even the diode indicating it is charging. Again no response for the buttons, nothing. So I tried to disassemble it, disconnected everything. Put it together and viola! The screen indicating 0% battery was there again. I left it like that for a while, and when it was charged a little, I tried to start it. It started and normally worked. At least it seemed to, but after a while (1 - 3 minutes) while I was using it, it went to the dead phone again.
So I discovered, that when I disconnect the battery for a while and then connect it again, I am able to boot the phone. I was even able to do factory reset. I thought I got it and that it was some software fault. However after like 5 minutes (it downloaded all apps, logged to my google account, looked all ok) the screen shut down again and again the phone played dead.
Now I have the phone booted, and charging (almost 100% now). But I guess when I start using it again, it will again go to the dead mode (since it did it everytime after I used it a little, no specific action done, totally random).
I guess it has to be related to the broken glass. Maybe some water or humidity got through it and the phone is trying to save itself from damage by going to the dead mode. It's weird because sometimes (like now) the phone is OK when not used, normally chraging and not shutting down (now it's ON for about 40 minutes), but if it shuts down, it takes about 3 or 4 battery disconnect and connect again, before it boots to the main screen. Sometimes it just dies before the screen, sometimes it dies when I try to plug the charger in, really no idea what causes it.
How should I diagnose it? USB debugging and check the log when using it and when it dies? Or has anyone experienced this too? Or could the battery be damaged? Or can I somewhere set the phone to prevent from selfkilling actions? Today I will try my main board in my friends G Flex 2, to see if it's the board, or something else.

Adding the error log from console
OK so it was probably mother board fault, so I had to buy a new phone It is like 3 months, and I just yesterday accidentally poured some water on it, so i destroyed another one. It is still in warranty but I guess with water damage there is no warranty. Anyone knows where to find all the water damage indicators? Or is it even possible to make it look like there was no water damage?

S6 immediately turns off when unplugged

Hello.
After falling to the ground with my S6 in my pocket I noticed it was off. At that time I thought I just ran out of battery even tho it didn't show the zero battery logo. After plugging the phone the battery logo showed and it started going from 0 to 94/95 in a matter of seconds (like 5% per second). I turned the phone on, it charged normally from 94 to 100 and after unplugging the charger the power was cut - immediately turned off.
It does this every time I plug it in: "charges" stupidly fast to 94%, turns ON and works normally until I disconnect the charger.
Do you guys know what the problem is? I find odd if the battery is dead because it went In for service 3 or 4 months ago and they replaced almost everything except screen, camera, back panel and frame. I would send it again to service but I rooted it so Knox is cracked.
Maybe because of the fall I took the battery cable was disconnected?
Thanks

Certainly sounds like a hardware issue because of the drop it took. Now it is charging but obviously erratically, could be the charging daughter board or the ic that needs replacing. Either way it needs to go in for repair, id try and get some quotes

I just find it weird because the phone was in my pocket when I fell to the ground. I see all the time S6's with cracked screens almost destroyed but working well. My S6 has no external damage.

The only way you'll know for sure if this is not a software issue is to factory reset or flash Stock firmware, it very well could a connection has come lose or some sort of damage to the charging part of board if you continue to have issues.
Sent to repair and they replaced the battery. Since I live in Europe Knox 0x1 wasn't an issue.
