Hello guys
Im on the 136 update but i cant find the passerby mode camera ? Is that normal
Start the camera, use "Photo" mode. Press the tiny icon showing three concentric rings (in the corner of the viewfinder area). Take the shot (takes about 2 seconds). Open the "picture" (in fact it's a video sequence with audio), press the edit icon (pen) - there you have it.

I need to use my mobile (SE x10mp) for taking many photos, and I want to spare the hw camera button.
any suggestions on a FREE app which shows an onscreen camera button, so that I just tap the button and the camera snaps a photo? needs to work with A2.1
TIA
I use Camera ZOOM FX. It has a camera button on the screen. I think it also allows for tapping anywhere on the screen to take a picture. There is also a Uva Silent Widget Camera app that I use that places a shutter button on your home screen and you can take a quick photo using it without having to launch a full application. It comes in handy at times.
So I don't know if anyone knows this or use the tumblr app a lot. But as for those who do use it, you realized that the app is only in portrait mode and no landscape. That bothered me a lot cause it is weird holding the Note 10.1 portrait, but that's just me. Anyways I found out you can actually make the app work in portrait mode with our Multi Window Manager from the app store. Sadly you need to use the pro version to do this. But for those who have the pro version like me you can make an app shortcut via Mult Window and set the app in landscape mode. All you have to do is:
1.) Long press the Home Screen
2.) Go to Shortcuts
3.) Scroll down the the App Multi Window Manager Shortcut
4.) Check on custom size
5.) Set the Length or the first one to 770
6.) The second one should be 1280
7.) Save it
8.) And Voila the Tumblr app is now in landscape mode

FYI- This works on any other app that only has portrait view like Instagram, only app I could not get to work was the Cnet app.
I am not sure if this is connected, but after doing this once, Tumblr app now starts in ugly mode: half of screen - menu (left side), half of screen - posts, videos...(right side)
Even after deleting MWM

Are you holding that in portrait mode? This is meant for landscape.
EDITED:
Sorry! This all happened because of last update
Hi all,
In order to take a shot, there're 2 steps: 1), find in the screen a focus spot and hit; 2), wait till focus rectangle turns green then press shutter button.
Is there any camera app that could automatically do step 2? Manually choosing focus point( step 1) is surely necessary.
Hi all,
Today I would like to introduce an app made by me. It is Dot Control.
So What things it can does?
Dot Control (Smart Gesture) - Make everything more easy - Gesture to control your phone
Dot Control (Smart Gesture) substitute navigation bar ( back button, virtual home, recently app) completely with a movement on screen. You can a finger and move up, move down, move left, move right to perform a corresponding action such as back button, turn off screen, go to home screen, open notification, open recently app, turn on/off flash light, open any application what you want.
Key Features:
With a movement on screen you can:
- Menu edge (Slide bar, Slide app)
- Double tap to Look screen
- Virtual Home key
- Turn on/off flash light
- Open notification
- Open recently app
- Open any application what you want
- Open list of app you frequently use
- Automatically turn off screen when you put your phone into pocket, and open when you hold it.
- Capture screen for android >= 5.0
All above you can do with a movement
Display settings:
- With Dot Control (Smart Gesture) you can change color, transparent of list menu what you want and change color, size , position of Smart Touch on screen...
Especially, Dot Control (Smart Gesture) can work when lock screen, you can open notification, turn on /off flash light without open screen.

Thank you. I'll notice to change suitable icon for this
Nice app! But you forgot to indicate if this app needs root or not. And I agree with changing pokeball icon into something more like home button in pixel. The white solid dot. Keep up the good work!
I recently switched from Honor 7 to Honor View 10.
On H7 i had configured it that when the phone was off (or on) that i touch the button on the left and the camera went on right away.
very handy if you want to take a quick snap of your cats doing something silly
well, the H10 doesnt have a button on the left . and i went through all the phone settings if you can configure anything for a one touch of another button or a voice command to start the camera right away. but i didnt find anything.
now i have to unlock the phone with fingerprint, face or voice command and then tap on the camera icon. Takes way too long and the situation/funny moment etc passed.
Is there any way to quick start the camera?
Go to camera, open settings by sliding your finger from right to left. Tap the last option called "Ultra Snapshot" and check the first option to open the camera and take a quick snap by double tapping the volume Down button. Take a look at the screen shots below.
