I have "small" selected as my display size (font size is default), and occasionally, maybe once a week or so, I unlock my phone and see the display size has reverted to default.
Has anyone experienced this or has some ideas of what I could check for?
Thanks
I have the same problem, I have the weakest version (6 GB RAM, 128 ROM)
Me too have same problem
Same here( A2020U 12GB RAM 256GB Storage ) before I messed up the phone and flashed A2020G. Still trying to figure out how I can get back to A2020U, so if y'all have any advice, that would be excellent.

Hi all just purchased jasjar. and have a funny problem.I use pocket player with file caching and visulisations on full.the spectrum analyser works ok on mains power but sluggish on battery power.
does the jasjars cpu scale down power on battery power?
Also the total memory is supposed to be 128MB rom and 64MB ram.
All see is total storage 43.72 and program 47.93 this seems to me to be less memory than my PDA2K which is storage 62.88 and program 62.89 and spectrum display is not sluggish on my 2K on battery or mains power
Whats going on??
The program memory isn't an issue for you, it's purely for running apps, wheras on devices running WM2003se or older, the RAM is split dynamically between storage and running.
I *think* the JasJar has 128MB Flash ROM which is split into 32MB for the OS, and 16MB for the Extended ROM, leaving you with 80mb pure storage.
The XDA 2, 2i, and 2s for instance have 128mb RAM only, and while this is split 50/50 by the OS, you can adjust the slider manually, and install more than 64mb worth of stuff, although the less run space you leave, the more work the device will have to do if you run multiple apps, and the more slow down you get.
As for the speed, yes, on mains it will not scale the CPU, on battery it will, and you should have a speed option in the power settings for normal or turbo, or words to that effect. All PPC's with the 520 and above CPU's have had this so far, so seems unlikely this device would not.
So I read how the Droid Charge had 512 MB of RAM. However, my phone only sees 349 MB of it. On top of that, ~260 MB of it is used all the time, with no way to clear it. I have also been getting quite a few Low Memory Warnings and random reboots.
So my question is, is there any way I can get back the ~200MB that the phone doesn't see? Or if not, clear up the ~260MB thats being constantly used?
You can't get back more than the 350 available. It is used by low level drivers and processes. You can make the low memory crap stop though. Download auto memory manager from the market and set it to aggressive. You wont ever get that warning again because your phone will more appropriately kill background processes. Eventually once you do some reading on the android memory system you can set your auto memory settings Individually for how you use your phone. But the aggressive setting should take care of your problem in the mean time.
This is assuming you are rooted. Also look up the v6 supercharger script and follow the instructions to have your launcher operate better. HARDTOKILL launched is what you should use, not bulletproof, and you will know what I mean after you read the thread about it.
I9103 wifi tethering with great data flow will decrease the system available memory, and you'll get unstable system soon.
see the screen capture,
after fresh reboot: total memory is 129+556MB
after about 4 hour: total memory is 156+200MB or so
and after a while, I can't turn on the screen.
so I didn't caputre the screen and had to force reboot.
the last picture was captured before, total memory is 152+59MB.

didnt happend to me...
if it happens just clear sone ram frm task manager,it will be normal...
can you for sure that is not happening to you.
Then I might consider to switch to your version of firmware.
But I doubt you get me wrong.
First, I watch video from my laptop which conneted to i9103 through wifi. this big amount of data will cause it to happen "noticable" to everyone.
second, no matter how system clean the memory, the total memory should stay the same. so it's not normal.

Did you find any solution to this?
When this happens my task manager shows ram usage around 650 mb out of 724 mb. When I hit clear, it still shows ~350 mb in use. While normally when I clear memory in task manager, it shows ~230 being used.
In the screenie, its showing me around 600 mb ram
someone tell me what sorcery is that :screwy::screwy: and find a solution please. This is the first time that something wrong with my phone is freaking me out.
I beleive wifi tethering is not the reason for this. Even after a reboot and no wifi tethering use thereafter, I m having this issue.
ICS = I SEE ASS Lol

Hi, I know that it's a post long time ago.
To fix your problem, you either send your tablet back to where you buy it OR you will have to look for a proper firmware for your tablet and flash it.
If you can provide more information of the tablet such as build number, screen size, and resolution. Then, I will be able to help you find the correct firmware. Thanks.
Hi,
I've a Nexus 5 with Official MMB29S, TWRP, System-less root and GravityBox.
When I used Lollipop I mostly about 1GB of free RAM in idle.
Since I switched to Marshmallow (with less installed app), after a few hours of use I have about 800MB free, that going down constantly if I don't reboot the smartphone.
AIDA64 under "Total Memory" says 1854MB
about the less 200MB of free.
What can it mean?
Okay, looking around the web, I found a russian screenshot of AIDA64 of a Nexus 5 with Lollipop, that under "Total Memory" says 1856MB, so I think that this isn't related with my memory draining issue…
Anyone?
I think that I solved my issue.
In Developer options
I had enabled the
Force GPU rendering
entry.
With this option every process that use GPU rendering take up additional about 8MB, so every time an App starts, my memory draining little by little.
When I used Lollipop I had this entry enabled, but I hadn't any similar issue… Maybe with Marshmallow something changed in this sense.
I hope that my experience will be useful to someone else, but above all I hope to have definitively solved my issue! XD
