Any super smart people know of a way to bypass the need for an unlock token? This is probably a long shot but seeing as the "invalid IMEI" message is still a shadow over our heads when submitting for a token I figured I'd ask...

Hi
Does anybody know how to retrieve the number of remaining attempts of PIN unlock?
It's simple to unlock SIM, but how to get the number of attempts?..
Is there a registry hack that will not require the password to unlock the phone but keeps my company's direct push still working as they have disabled my ability to turn off the password protection on the phone? I have it set to 30 minutes but if a call comes in and I don't have bluetooth enabled, I have to unlock it and it can be tedious and I usually hang up on the caller. Its a Tilt. Thanks in advance.
Like you i have a policy on the phone requiring autolock and a PIN to unlock.
I have S2U installed and can quite happily answer calls when the phone is otherwise unlocked.
hey guys
after sbf and flash to fission, checkbox to enter the unlock code does not appear.
is there anyway i can bring it up?
btw-used turbosim for a month, for me it didnt prove itself. cant save apn and call quality is poor. after visiting a cell solution lab, the guy think he can give me the code but, as ive mentioned, no checkbox. but, what has came up is an error msg says a special call need to b made. as am not in the us, this call cannot b activate. turbosim bypass this msg and phone works. so here is another q, do i need to leave it on the error msg in order to get rid of subsidy or press activate?
never had an instrument that took so much of my energy as this 1' lol/
any help will b appreciated.
I have been trying to unlock my old tmobile sidekick 4g to use with AT&T and I have followed the guide extremely close and I have got the hex editor and I have got the 8 digit code and when I go to enter the network lock control key I keep getting an unsuccessful message. If anyone gets this message and believes they can help me out someway please shoot me a private msg so we can contact each other via email or phone and hopefully someone can help solve my problems. I greatly appreciate everyone's time for reading this and I would be extremely appreciative of anyone willing to help.. Thanks once again

Why don't you just ask T-Mobile to send you the unlock code? I have asked them to unlock 4 phones, including my Sidekick, and they have always been good about it. See this page for more info: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1588. I found that the easiest way to request the unlock code was to use the chat function. As I recall, you just have to provide your phone number and IMEI.
I just requested to unlock my phone, its alredy paid off, I contacted the customer service and I received an email for the unlocking instructions, I opened the app and clicked permanent unlock, but it says Device Failed to unlock. Then I noticed the emei # on my email is wrong, the last digit was "0", I went to check my actual emei and its almost correct but the last digit is "5". I went to my online tmo account and there is an emei on the device and the last digit is also "0".
Does the emei's # automatically displayed on their site? Or the CS representative have to enter it manually? Or they just scan it?
Just call, they will unlock it within an hour. For me also the app did not work.
As for the IMEI that is odd indeed, get it sorted with support.
They said they can only unlock 1 phone a year?? Coz i got my m8 unlocked last September.
If you have other family members on your account, switch the phone to their number and after 45 days they should unlock, then switch back.
