Is there a registry hack that will not require the password to unlock the phone but keeps my company's direct push still working as they have disabled my ability to turn off the password protection on the phone? I have it set to 30 minutes but if a call comes in and I don't have bluetooth enabled, I have to unlock it and it can be tedious and I usually hang up on the caller. Its a Tilt. Thanks in advance.
Like you i have a policy on the phone requiring autolock and a PIN to unlock.
I have S2U installed and can quite happily answer calls when the phone is otherwise unlocked.

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have an Alpine and a GPS unit that supports hands free calling/dialing (Navigon 7100). I have no problem pairing the two and making phone calls (using the GPS to send the number to dial to my Alpine) once I've entered my Password (to unlock the device). Here's the problem I'm having. When the Alpine suspends (Powers Off) and the Password activates (i.e. if I turn it back on, I need to re-enter the password to get to the today screen), I am no longer able to dial out using hands free (the number actually gets entered in the password area).
Does anyone know how I could work around this? (But without disabling my password).
Recommended registry hacks/new programs (even if I have to purchase one) are welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I moved form a PDA/mobile phone combintation to a Sprint Mogul. I have it working almost like I want accept for two areas.
With my mobile phone I could make phone calls while the device was locked using a bluetooth headset. With the Mogul I have to unlock it before the headset will work. Does anyone know how to allow the bluetooth headset to work while the Mogul is locked? I have personal data on the Mogul so I would prefer to keep it locked. Or is there a tool that will only lock an application like contacts and notes but still allow voice dialing?
Second, voice command doesn't announce incoming callers through the headset any fix for that?
Thank you in advance for your replies.
Hello,
when I use the Orbit2 without the telephonefunction and I want to make a call it is very uneasy to type in the PIN code. Is there a possibility that when I want to make a call and I push the green key the field for the pin will come automaticly?
Otherwise the phone trys to make the call, but break it one moment later. Then I have to open the common manager, have to start the phone and then I could type the pin code.
Thanks

With the implementation anti-theft you know, in case of loss, the exact location of your phone Android.
How it works?
Theft application is automatically activated when you restart the phone and detect a SIM change.
The program seamlessly send a sms every minute (or configured in the application) to mobile phone indicated. The SMS is not recorded in the outbox.
"I can activate / deactivate the service differently?
Yes, to detect the change of SIM, the phone will automatically send an SMS to the phone number of the new SIM, you just have to send an SMS to that number with the phrase set in the anti-theft application to start or stop service .
How to authorize a SIM?
Simply access the application and click on the button "Allow SIM."
How to authorize all my SIM's?
To enable multiple SIM, you just have to put the application anti-theft in "test mode" and go authorizing one to one phone SIM. Do not forget to turn off the "test mode" to complete this task.
What happens if you accidentally activate the service?
You can access the application anti-theft (using the key provided) and click on the top button (to be put in red).
If I have GPS, can locate my phone?
Yes, because if your phone lacks GPS, find the phone for mobile phone masts, they give an approximation of the location of your phone.
Please any questions or problems, please send an email to the developer. Thanks.
I have a pattern lock on my AT&T One XL because I lost an android phone a year ago. I wouldn't want my saved passwords and access to lastpass in the hands of a thief. I also have a number of security programs installed (Prey, Hidden eye, Wheres my Android, McAfee Wave Secure, etc.)
Now, I always seem to inadvertently bump the "Emergency Call" button on the bottom, and once I actually dialed a "9" accidentaly. I did not get a callback from 911, but when I had an Iphone 3GS, I recall pocket dialing 911 in a similar way. The operator wasn't too pleased with me when I answered the phone.
I understand that this feature must be for someone being able to at least dial 911 if there is a pattern lock on your phone (if I was having a medical emergency, and mine was the only one available) but I was wondering if this feature is able to be shut off. My phone is unlocked, S-OFF, and I am running a custom ROM, but I can't find a way to shut it off.
