Hello, I wanted to know if there is any solution or method to block the bootloader. I am having problems with some applications from the play store and I would like to restore the phone to its original state.

Hello,
If my problem was solved in the past and my question is stupid - just let me know.
I want to recover my text messages by using Dr. Fone or Myjad SMS Recovery. However, these apps need root first. I'm afraid that if I root my phone and unlock bootloader I will lose all my data and trying to recover my text messages will be pointless. Could somebody help me with this problem? Is there any method to root the phone without loosing all the data or is it possible that Myjad will restore my text messages after rooting and unlocking bootloader?

As far as I know "My Phone Explorer" doesn't need a rooted phone. You just need the client that can be downloaded from the Play Store and the program you can download from this link .
Edit: I think I may have missunterstood you. Do you already have a backup and are you trying to apply it or are you trying to make one?
I want to unlock my bootloader to get root access but i want to know is there a way to relock it again if i want to sell it or if something go wrong and get back my warranty ? ( sorry for my bad english )
You can make a TA-backup before unlocking, restoring that will lock the bootloader.
However, if your phone breaks in a way where the PC won't be able to recognize it, you won't be able to restore the backup.
Hi,
I would like to move an app (GPS spoof) to system/app on my OnePlus 6 (with latest updates). But I can't seem to find a viable solution. I don't want to unlock my bootloader since it will erase all my data and I don't want to have to put back all of them and my settings .. Mock location is not an option since Pokémon Go doesn't allow me to play when it's enabled.
Is there a way to add a system app without rooting the device or unlokcing the bootloader ? Like I saw for other device booting TWRP from the computer.
Thank you !
No there is no way.
No. The whole point of locking the bootloader is to create a secure area for system apps to run.
Hum that's what I expected ! Thank you.
Is there a way to save the whole phone, unlock the bootloader, and restore everything ? I don't want to put back everything one by one ! And when I move the app to system, can I relock the bootloader and unroot ?
Thanks you for your help.

I do not know exactly what the security protocols on this phone are, but typically you cannot lock the bootloader if the system partition has been modified, as it will fail the security checks on boot. Either the relock command will fail, it will lock but not boot, or you may just get a brick.
Hello,
i have to root my S8 pro now because the whole internal memory is nearly used by apps and system.
Is there a opportunity to root my device without unlocking bootloader?
I found magisk to modify the boot-partition and for example getting root on the device.
But you have to unlock the bootloader to flash the new boot-partition. I also read that unlocking bootloader always means that the whole device is resetted to factory-defaults which means losing all installed apps.
I have about 50 !! banking apps for generating TANs. For these apps, it's not enough to reinstall the app. You also need to reconnect the app (especially the device) to the banking account.
I think the only way to backup the the configured and connected app is to have root on the device, right?
My plan was to root the device without unlocking bootloader, then make a full-backup, unlock bootloader which resetting the deivce, and restore the full-backup.
After this, I un-root my device because the banking-apps check if a device is rooted. My plan is t re-roote the device using magisk only when needed and when no banking app is used, and then un-root it again.
Any idea how to solve my problem?
Regards
UP
Root requires unlocked bootloader.Nice plan but it won't work.

Really?
unlocked bootloader ist neccessary all the time while device is rooted, not only when flashing?
I just received a brand new unlocked Pix2 without any carrier on Oreo 8.0.0 and do not wish to update to any new Android version.
What is the simplest way to gain root? Can I do this without unlocking the bootloader?
I do not intend on unlocking BL just for purity's sake and so that apps do not detect it ever was unlocked and so it goes undetected even to Google.
I have heard there are ways to gain root (like my old nexus one) such as apps that allow you to gain root temporarily until you restart the device!
Is this still available? I only need root one time to delete system apps and do other configurations to the stock rom.
That is all I need, then once I restart Android the root is gone as if nothing happened but with the modifications and system app deletion intact.
Can this be done? What is the best alternative? Any suggestion for my usage case?
