Hello,
If my problem was solved in the past and my question is stupid - just let me know.
I want to recover my text messages by using Dr. Fone or Myjad SMS Recovery. However, these apps need root first. I'm afraid that if I root my phone and unlock bootloader I will lose all my data and trying to recover my text messages will be pointless. Could somebody help me with this problem? Is there any method to root the phone without loosing all the data or is it possible that Myjad will restore my text messages after rooting and unlocking bootloader?

As far as I know "My Phone Explorer" doesn't need a rooted phone. You just need the client that can be downloaded from the Play Store and the program you can download from this link .
Edit: I think I may have missunterstood you. Do you already have a backup and are you trying to apply it or are you trying to make one?

I'm getting close to getting a new phone, and there is specific data from my Motorola Photon Q that I want to move onto my computer to put onto my new phone, but all the websites and searches for ways to root this phone say I have to unlock the bootloader, which in turn means I also have to delete all the data from my phone.
Is there a way to root my phone without having to delete all the data or unlock the bootloader?

When you rooting photon q or unlock bootloader you dont loose anything, some one wrote somewhere a bulls...
you dont lose anything from your phone, only flesh to stock or wipe / factory reset cause this not unloading bootloader or root
It is in fact, possible to root the Photon Q without unlocking your bootloader. It's called Towelroot. I did that, and it worked perfectly.
I want to flash Lollipop on my Z3D but first, I want to make a complete Backup (including imei) because I have experienced the brick of a smart phone before and I don't want to face it again.
My phone is not rooted, and I want to keep it that way (warranty validity).
so,
is there a way to make a Full Backup without rooting?

No, but you do not lose Warranty from rooting.

If you wanna be on the best site, do a unroot before sending to service if you need to have warranty repair.
Do a unroot. For example by flashing stock ftf again. (It's possible on locked bootloader)
I know there's a way through gmails web recovery, but I want to recover the passwords from /data/data/com.google.android.gm/database/gmail.db
Phone is not rooted or baseband unlocked.
If I baseband unlock or root it will clear everything.
I tried running backup through adb, but it doesn't get /data/data/com.google.android.gm/database/gmail.db
I couldn't find any apps that can reveal /data/data/com.google.android.gm/database/gmail.db
Any ideas?
Brief about phone
I need to open this phone without losing data. This is PIN locked phone[Deceased Person's Phone]
Developer Mode Disabled
Any way to unlock it.
Via
ADB
I need how to root it and remove its pin number any how.
While rooting there should not contain any risk that involves data wipe.
New update
I cant flash twrp via odin
Custom Binary block by FRP lock
Question: If i flash orginal stock rom would it delete all the files and setting stored in phone
There should not be any data loss coz it needs to open phone of deceased person.
Did you unlock the phone?
I am in a similar position with my samsung J700F.
Did you find any success mate?

Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy running Android 11. Several of my texts were deleted and I'd like to try to retrieve them. These texts had a lot of sentimental value but stupidly, I had nothing backed up (lesson learned there!). I've read unlocking bootloader is necessary but doing so the phone will be wiped out, including the deleted texts I want to retrieve. Are there any programs/software that could retrieve the texts without unlocking and rooting? Is there a way to unlock bootloader and root without data loss? Is there any way at all for me to get these texts back?!
