Viper4Android not woking

hello guys
im using a xperia z5 e6653 on MM 6.0.1 32.2.A.0.253 with open BL, stock firmware and kernel
i am trying to install viper audio mod without success. after flashing the last zip and installing the driver (busybox installed, of course) the driver status tells, that the driver is installed, working, using neon BUT the proccessing is disabled. none of the sound modifications are working.
can anyone tell me why?

Try to disable sony soundenhancement or use viper4android compability mode.

Install SELinux and set it to permissive. A little bit of struggling with it and it will work.

Already tried the permissive mode also used a zip that disables any other mod (it should)

Well that's weird because it has always been working this way for me. Even right now. Just don't use the latest version of V4A since it doesn't work very well on our phones.

how exactly did you do it?

Install Viper + Drivers. Set kernel to permissive using SE Linux, that's all. I use Viper v2.3.4.0 (FX), Codename "Beautiful". This is the version that's working on our phones with Marshmallow.

Any one got this working in Nougat ? Please share which version its working as I tried a lot and was able to install but I get no sound when its processing.

install ARISE sound system deuteryum 2.4 ( or something like that) and choose plus mods aroma installer and flash it in twrp and you are good to go

Thanks for the reply. Did you test it ? What is your device ? I have tried Arise mod before, just like others it gets installed and processing the sound but it gives no sound.

I have Xperia Z5 E6653, stock nougat 32.3.A.0.376 with stock patched kernel, and tried normal ARISE project before and it didn't work, but now i tried this : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120703424
and it is working very very good, sound is much much louder, so try it, but first backup your build.prop, if you want to go back to stock.
PM me the results.

I Will try and let you know asp. What was your status with other versions when you installed it ? Just like mine with no sound when its processing ? For me all the versions are installed successfully and driver status shows its processing, but i have no sound at all.

EDIT: Did you install all the add ons ? Can you get this working only viper and no add ons ?

i strongly suggest to install dolby atmos,because it will give you strong volume boost, i installed all the addons, you should too, it is easy to disable it in settings

I think you should write instead
no,no,no,yes,no,yes and reboot.
as
down,down,down,up,down,up and reboot.
To avoid confusions. Because some choices aren't yes or no.

Yes , but with the latest dolby 6.4 works I noticed that sometimes dolby crash but still It works

Yeah, Dolby will crash upon changing mode or toggle setting, but it still be saved and the effect still work fine

How to get Viper4Android ?

Guys, which zip should I flash to get Viper on my Stock ROM, and how to do it to ensure it gets no interference from the system's EQ ?
Also, is there a better mod?

I've tried to install viper4android and AinurDSP on stock with magisk and it's also doesn't work.

I knew it! Most Magical modules fail to get flashed on Color OS. I just use Equaliser FX and increase the low and high frequencies a bit, and it sounds somewhat better.

YouTube Vanced works.

I was surprised how easy it was as well. It is certainly one of the best reasons to root.

Can someone share the file with me? The Youtube link with viper is not working anymore so I was unable to get the zip. I need viper in my life. Please .

@kirschdog1 I was able to make Viper work with the following steps.
Install Viper from Magisk Repo.Reboot and open app to install drivers.
Install busybox Magisk module and reboot.
Install Audio Modification Library module and reboot.
I don't know why but installing all three at the same time didn't seem to work for me.

I am running a Pixel 4a with dec security patch, rooted with magisk beta. I used the zip linked in the following post.
I also set it from SELinux permissive to enforcing, by disabling a boot script in the magisk module.

Viper seems so, now I still need to know about connection recording ... Then I use this ROM

I am on latest Magisk Canary and Viper works fine for me by following this guide.

I tried everything with magisk version and the other puhlic versions around with about every thread I found. The mentioned above I also tried. But it only worked when I switch selinux to permissive. With magisk canary 22 104

I tried to install viper4android after rooting. Managed installation of V4A and it is working. But wifi does not work until i disable/uninstall V4A. Please help me out.
