Good morning, I have a problem with my pixel 2016. When I connect the phone to the PC, windows does not recognize it. I tried several times to install the drivers from android studio, but the problem persists. If I go to device manager, it tells me error 43. If I click on driver details it tells me that there is no driver, even after installing them. How can I solve ??? Thanks
PS sorry for my english, but I use google translator

hello
eventullay you have a hardware problem cable or usb hub.... because even your drivers are not installed correctly the
device manager on your pc make instead of the phone named: android device 1.0 a yellow sign with eclamation mark if you don't have this, there is an hardware or a bigger ROM error.

i had this problem too. but this worked for me, i hope it works for you too.
Open My Computer
Right Click on it and select Properties
Select Device Manager
Right click Android. Click Update Driver Software
Manually locate the drivers and update.
I hope that works
if you can't find "android" maybe it's under USB, or something like that. it should be there.

Hi guys,
well, I try to explain my problem... I've installed windows phone application from microsoft and the relative driver ( i guess ). After that I' ve installed nokia care suite, attach my phone trough USB and nothing happens. :silly:
Also I've installed WinUsb driver in the driver folder of nokia care (i've read it on a guide), but even after that the suite is not connecting to the phone. My phone is regullary detected from Win 7 and windows phone application. I' ve tried also to disinstall all the driver installed previously and reinstall it but nothing changed.
Does anyone can help me please???
Look in the care suite folders in Program filesx86, make sure you have installed all the drivers in the Drivers folder, Open care suite then connect phone, If that fails check in device manager to see if the device is listed or has a yellow mark,
You may also need to restart PC.

Thanks for help.
I tried to uninstall drivers with USBDEVIEW but it's hard to know witch one to uninstall in a 100 drivers list. i removed all called "One" drivers and tried again after reboot comp, with no success
I tried to connect my phone at the usb port who are behind my computer and it works but i still have a message error "unable to find a driver for your device".
So i put my phone on usb caméra mode and it works without driver problem, and i can access the memory storage of my phone
But my phone is still not recognized at the front usb ports of my computer, idk why..
my n5 was fine before my pc was connected to internet .... but when it did, it updated th drivers and now i can't access my files in either MTP or PTP mode ....
i did uninstall n5's drivers from device manager and then it didn't even recognize the device .... (not even in add a device)
btw i'm using win 8.1
ps. i did try using another port and cable

i had same problems on win 8.1
the problem is due to mtp windows drivers,
the problem is that windows will install his generic drivers and will override nexus 5 drivers installation
i solved by
1. uninstall all adb intefarces (for example, on acer, I had 2 acer adb interface and another adb bootloader interface)
2. deleting all android_winusb related folders from
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

or everytime Windows will install them instead of the right ones
then I installed google usb drivers and it worked. :good:

Please search for the appropriate drivers for your phone and manually install them. Then try connecting your phone.

Download the correct drivers and after connecting the phone to the PC/Laptop, go to Device Manager and right-click the entry with the yellow triangle, then Update Driver, Browse My Computer For Drivers, then Let Me Pick From A List of Available Drivers On My Computer and then choose the drivers you downloaded and install.
If still facing issues, driver signing may be an issue, so search the internet on how to install drivers after turning off driver signing on the PC/Laptop.
