Hello i have a problem , i am on the latest stable oxygen , i rooted the device and i have xxx no limits latest and renovate ice latest also magisk latest . My problem is that chrome and chromium that i tried always crashing , everytime that i am trying to open them after 2 seconds . Any solution ???
I had the same problem and it got fixed after i erased the data and cache of chrome in the settings
I ve done that but nothing remains the same problem

I've been having notification problems for a while some system apps work like Gmail, Android messages and Google now work. But anything else including YouTube , Facebook and other third party apps don't work.
I have tried installing pnf fixer from the playstore rebooted my phone . Installed push notification tester which successfully sent a notification so notifications can send.
I was using lineage os 14.1 so I switched ROMs to paranoid Android 7.3.0 unnoficial still the same problem
flashed the stock rom from Motorola's website. Then I flashed lineage again still the same problem.
I also played around with battery optimisation and doze. I am using the latest build of lineage os from the 5th of January Latest gapps and magisk. I thought flashing the stock rom would fix everything but apparently not. Has anyone else had similar problems is there a fix ?

The only apps that i use are fb messenger and whatsapp
So recently my Redmi 6 updated to Android Pie ( 9.0 ) via system updater ,with stable global realise MIUI . And after that it seems that the phone gets little lags here and there , particularly when folding task bar , or when killing apps in the task menu , and in battery menu most of the time it shows that "Screen" drains most of the battery . These problems were not present in Android Oreo ;//
So , these problems could be mostly caused by Android Pie? :/ Maybe Redmi 6 is not capable off running this OS .....
What is your experience after the update?
Well if you having the problem, reset it again once. it would very recommended after being reseted by the update by itself. But reset it once again is recommended (idk really, but seems have different for me)

I tried to update to latest official Android10 from setting
Installing stopped on 89% for a long time so i just force closed it
Now i cant try again .. when i choose the update file its stuck on 0%
Any suggestions?

Download the full rom zip and choose local update in the upper right corner of Android system upgrade. Maybe it helps

download OOS Updater from play store, download android 10 & installed it via Local update (or full rom+Local update)

My device rooted so this happened with the full rom by local update .. nothing

You can flash files from link above via stock or twrp recovery
After the Installation finish,you can flash magisk if you want be rooted your device
(requires unlocked bootloader)

Just for information: android 10 on OnePlus 7 isn't "unstable". Neither beta or stable. And rooting is also easy like on pie.

do you know that i have android10 installed from the beginning
from yesterday i am using oneplus 5 with 9.0.8 (the best rom for my opinion)
android 10 it has many shortcomings mainly (notch settings, Pocket Mode etc)
shows me a powerful lag in the launcher,mainly when the page opens to the left with the various shortcuts & sometimes the screen flickers ,wifi is delayed...
For me it's not stable yet ....Needs time and patience for stable builds but I trust the oneplus team
Root on Pie ofcourse ...For android10 disagree for now in a non-stable rom(after a few updates maybe yes)

This is Oneplus 7 forum and root works flawlessly on Android 10, I have my op7 rooted FYI and no issues.
So saying don't do root in android 10 confuses people here

exactly how do you "factory reset"? in TWRP? or in the OS in android settings (the old fashio way before unlocking & root)? if in TWRP, what exact options did you wipe? mine is stuck at 89% and I do not know how to fix the issue

Go twrp recovery, look for .Ota, flash the downloaded update zip and reboot.(Must be patient for step 2 to complete)
If can't find .Ota, go to File manager app, click storage below, click 3 dot on top right coner, settings, turn Show hidden file switch on.
So I had installed the latest lineageOS version ( 17.1, android 10, osprey moto g3) from the official website and flashed it correctly, but after some time, I noticed that the torch icon was greyed out in the status bar and any camera app won't work.
The app showed- "Camera stopped working"
Cleared cache, app info, rebooted the phone but nothing seemed to work.
I thought that flashing the ROM again would fix it, I redownloaded the latest lineageOS version, new GApps, and flashed it in the correct way( first wipe then flash), but the issue came back after a few reboots.
So I rebooted again and it got fixed, but I think the issue might spring back.
Is there any fix for this?

Hello members,
Last week i'v also installed the latest lineageOS version ( 17.1, android 10) Gapps nano, on my Samsung A3 2017. With the TWRP tool., Nice ROM!
Unfortionally with the same issue as above, Samsung and other camera app's very often not working, need to reboot to fix that.
The flashlight does not work either then, and much more irritating BlueTooth not working anymore, my A3 always had perfect connection with my Parrot carkit CK3100.
I'v found in several forum some workarounds for this but these do not solve the issues long enough.
But the issues are also found in older releases from LineageOS.
Will there be a update for these mentioned 3 issues?
If not, i need to install another ROM which is not based on LineageOS.
The Cam and BT must work without any problems.

Dear all,
Hope you are doing great, I was downloading and installing automatic updates just fine and the other week got a notification about a new update of over 1.4 gbs and the automatic installer was not possible to do and requested me to download it and installing it manually. I downloaded the Rar and everything was going smooth and when I enter TWRP I installed at first shoot without doing any wipe or clear cache or data.
All was installed and it told me to restart the phone, I did that and vroom a vibrating sound happen and got me back to the main screen of Poco and then to TWRP and show me 3 workarounds to clear data and cache and the last resort do a clean flash rom.
I had to end with the last option since I was unable to install the update. What could be gone wrong here? I am back at stock now and I am very sad that this fricking update break all the custom firmware and got me bootlooped
I look for your inputs and maybe I can try again.

You must install Android 11 firmware for newer versions of Arrow as it has switched to OSS vendor.
I was on arrow os 11 so Android 11 was on there, the issue was when I was installing the new update from surija I believe si called the developer.
Do you guys have an idea what did I did wrong? Should You recommend staying vainilla stock miui 12 with root privileges or arrow 11?

I was able to flash the latest version update but I am having a System UI is not responding and got WIFI broken so if anyone is installing this update be careful, does anyone installed the last arrow OS update?
I am currently having issues with the last update, I think I will stick with no updates on the firmware
Sorry I am posting multiple updates on my thread, but I tested it and definetly the last update from Surya break the OS when you login you do not have WIFI and is showing the error I mentioned UI system unresponsive. I installed the version from April from Arrow OS and all works like a charm.
So if anyone reads this be careful with latest release from Surya 5/14 version
Yes, i can confirm. The version I used initially was from april 30. The update from may caused bootloop. I'll be turning off updates when I restore it with miflash.
The main reason I went with arrow is that it is selinux enforcing and supports safety net. But this really makes me think..
