Battery Saving tips for all devices
Good news is you no longer need rooted device on Android 11+ to enter device in doze
* Turn off lockscreen notifications, you will surprise with battery backup.
* Use pockect mode if you keep your device in pocket most of the time
* Give the following adb command
Code:
adb shell settings put global device_idle_constants inactive_to=2592000000,motion_inactive_to=2592000000,light_after_inactive_to=20000,light_pre_idle_to=30000,light_max_idle_to=86400000,light_idle_to=1800000,light_idle_factor=1.5,light_idle_maintenance_max_budget=30000,light_idle_maintenance_min_budget=10000,min_time_to_alarm=60000
Please note that on some devices you need to follow this step again upon restarting the device.
to issue adb command you need adb SDK installed on your PC/Laptop https://drive.google.com/file/d/1f3Wes8Gp2hJ3bjcYHoNVsEG5nGh9PqYW/view?usp=sharing.
Make sure you have USB debugging on from Developer Options and USB driver installed from your device manufacture to connect to PC.
* For rooted device the power saving is enabled automatically you can choose one of the doze mode the best suits your device.
* Close all unnecessary apps to get nice battery backup
Feel free to post here if you required

Awesome! Does this have double tap to sleep/wake? Also, on one plus there is screen off gestures, does this have that or will it at least retain those from factory?

Hi, Thanks for using the app.
Fingerprint works on all devices for only on devices with In-Display sensor to get it to work you must be rooted and you need to provide your existing PIN/PASS in the settings so app will automatically enter it. You need to press n hold outside the clock and fingerprint sensor will come up
Soon I am goint to update the Settings UI where I will add a lot customisations.
Stay tuned

I cannot access the in- display fingerprintsensor by pressing the AOD- Screen, although I entered the PIN in the App settings.
Its not shown.

Hi,
i´m using your app on a OP 7 Pro. I do have no problems so far. The only issue is the batterie drain that´s pretty high. At the end of the day i´m at 50% batterie left, without your AOD at 75%. But so far, very nice app, thank you very much for your work. :good:

There was a big mess with the apps caused by users of the previous version that didn't like the change and caused the app's rating to go way down. I had no choice but to revert. What I did is release the app as LockerPro 2 on Google Play. I updated the links.
Again, sorry for the big mess, I didn't plan for this to happen. I will be refunding anybody who bought the previous one and wants to buy this one instead.
So many similarities
I'm sure you've come across many similar people, but I just get confused on how many apps/alternatives you have for the same thing. I mean don't get me wrong, but I just don't know what to download buy: Lockerpro 1, LockerPro 2, Locky, Slidelock (which I use since 10 minutes ago), NotifierPro (which I bought a while ago) and all its "siblings".
Isn't LockerPro2 like Slidelock but with shortcuts at the bottom? I don't mean to bash, I really love your apps, but I am scared of buying one anymore as I feel like soon there will be a similar/improved different app (by you).
I'm going to try both SlideLock and LockerPro2 for a while and see.
PS: In Slidelock if a notification is received while unlocked, the lockscreen won't show it when turn off&on again, which NotifierPro does. Is this intended? I will see if the same thing happens for LockerPro2.
Cheers

We never planned for that. The point of SlideLock is to be a clean minimalistic lockscreen with notifications. We could not do that with LockerPro since there were already too many experimental features added. Then we released a big update for LockerPro that caused a lot of outrage amongst users, because the design changed so much (I explain this in more details on our Google + community : https://plus.google.com/communities/114726077366703351611). We had no choice but to release this as a different app.
Adding notifications to the lockscreen when not acted on could be a nice feature to add.
hello. are you going to add widgets on locker pro 2?
i know then locker pro 5.7 supports widgets, but i can't add then because of strange error "unfortunatly, settings app has been stopped"
2 times slide-to-unlock
Hey there!
This is a great and gorgeous app, thank you! :good:
I've got only two small issues which I find maddening:
(1) I've set up a security pattern to unlock the phone. Each time I exit LockerPro by sliding I have to do a slide-to-unlock yet again before being able to type in the security pattern. It shouldn't be that way IMHO.
(2) There's a noticeable delay after screen-on before LockerPro is actually showing. Meanwhile, stock android locker is showing.
Is there any way to fix this I'm not aware of?
BTW I'm running free version now since those issues are no-goes for me. I'd love to buy and use the paid versions once I figured out how to resolve them. I'm only mentioning this in case the paid version already had those issues adressed, not as a means to blackmail.
Thanks in advance for your answer and best regards!
EDIT: Scratch the first issue. It seems like you have to disable all lockscreen specific tweaks your custom rom has to offer for the redundant slide-to-unlock to dissappear. My bad.
Great app and works very good on 4.1.2 jb
Question
I just installed LockerPro2, and it's very good. But I have one problem and I need your help. It gets only notifications, when I switch on LockerPro in the Settings/Accessibility. But after that, at every menu movements a robotic sound tells me where I am. For ex. "Page 2 of 3". How can I switch this off so, that every notification works fine. I have Samsung Galaxy S2.
Thanx!

Hi.
You are experiencing a bug in Samsung's software. This is a bug occuring when enabling any accessibility service and has nothing to do with our app. Their dev team is aware of the issue, and is reportedly working on a fix. For now, here is a manual fix :

Any chance of adding music control? I use Spotify a lot so it is handy to have the controls on the lockscreen.

Hi,
i only see a notification for whatsapp that tells me "New Notification" but i don't see the real message i received.
On all pictures you show, i see the real message..
Why is it only possible to swipe up to unlock the screen?
I liked the Samsung way to swipe in any direction to unlock..
Two questions
1) Does it have actionable notifications life the original LockerPro (like can I delete a gmail email without having to go to the app)?
2) Can I get a refund for the premium version of LockerPro 2 if I bought the original LockerPro?
I brought SlideLocker instead of LockerPro.
Do I need to pay again to get LockerPro? It's not fair.
Delay?
What about this delay ?? can you do something to fix it?
btw it's a great app

*** FAQ
1. Notifications does not show up ?
- Access to notifications needs to be enabled (open Setting, click on the "Show notification" option for notifications and allow access to Glance Plus)
- try to restart the phone
2. Waving my hand over my phone doesn't work
- Try waving slowly
- You may need to wave very close to the proximity sensor (should be located just above the screen) on some devices
- Try reinstall app
3. Battery is drained more quickly
- Go to Glance Plus/Setting, reduce Brightness and Time before off screen
- Turn off weather info
- Check exactly how much milliampere that app consume (may be consume few milliampere but os still showing it's take much battery percentage)
4. Detect phone on table doesn't work
- Some device doesn't support accelerometer when screen off
Hope you can help us with our testing. We are listening for suggestion.

Hi, it depends on capacity of phone battery and your settings. On my phone (Nexus 5 2300mAh), peek mode only consumes 0.5-1%/h

I'm sorry, we doesn't provide any pack enable full features.
OK. Could you please add up the individual in app purchases for me then -- all of them.
EDIT:
I went through the app and checked each additional add-on. There are five (CAD$):
remove ads: $178
notification reminder: $1.41
always on: $1.69
auto-rotate: $1.15
adaptive brightness: $1.15
This seems like a good way of monetizing. Gives the user the ability to only pay for the features he wants. For instance, I think I would only want "always on", so that will only set me back $1.69.
In addition to these add-on features, the user can also choose to purchase additional background pictures for $0.99 each.
Has anyone tried the "always on" feature. I would be very interested in battery consumption on an amoled screen.
New version now is available and release in play store
- add custom background
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA-Developers mobile app
nice app, heres some feedback/requests for you, i'm using the S7 Edge.
Is the "always on" feature supposed to hide when put in your pocket? because it doesn't turn off in my pocket, Samsungs AOD feature will do this.
Ramdom location sometimes clips/hides the notification icons when its decides to be at the bottom of the screen
Show quick launch notification, whats this? is the notifications like SMS/Gmail supposed to open when i tap it? if so the screen isn't interactive.
Please add random location pixel movement like Samsungs updated AOD feature, it only needs to nudge randomly 1 pixel every 1-2 minutes, perhaps the clock can also be at the top region of the screen.
Have the ability to turn on the the "always on" only when a notification arrives feature would be nice as well as the ability to hide the clock, and just keep notification icons.
Please have the alarm clock "detailed" underneath the clock instead of to the right.
Disable backlit back/recents keys from glowing when Glance Plus is active would be good too,
thats all i can think of at this time.
Excellent app!!to be superb...i would like per app settings..f.e to have the abillity to set a missed call notif. to blink and when i have a message, only to wake up when i wave my hand.thanks!!
Anyone knows what is that "15" on my screen?

Tap Locker is a lock screen with a unique type of protection - tap pattern. Instead of using a password or a 9 grid pattern Tap Locker uses a sequence of taps to unlock the device. App's algorithm is checking timings of each tap to recognize the pattern. You will be able to unlock your device without looking at the screen using your favorite beat, drum sequence etc.
Tap locker on Google Play
Features:
● Notifications - preview app notifications on the lock screen. You can also set to preview only icons for a more elegant look.
● Tap protection - tap sequence/pattern to unlock your device.
● Music player - control your favorite songs and playlists.
● Gradient wallpapers - Tap Locker includes a number of elegant gradient wallpapers, that change every time you open the phone. You can also edit and create your own gradients.
● Trusted places - you can add locations and /or trusted WiFi networks where device should be unlocked.
● Clock styles - 6 different free clock styles to choose from
● Apps and Quick settings - launch your apps and toggle quick settings directly from the lock screen
● Widgets! - add your favorite clocks, weather widgets etc.
Update:
A lot of things reworked.
Notifications are now expandable
Added quick settings toggles
And more
Good concept.
Please add option of default wallpaper.
I want to make it invisible lock for other, so option to hide lock icon and forgot pattern will be very helpful. Or anything that can spoof them.
Sounds and looks good
but, I'm gonna wait until it passes beta stage
My suggestion
Add horizontal swipe to unlock screen (I get bored with stock vertical swipe)
Nice app! Good idea and beautiful implementation.
Here's my feedback:
I love it. I did eventually switch to only swipe, five taps takes a little too much effort for my liking. Maybe registering the duration of each tap would allow for more security with fewer taps. Also, maybe allow users to determine whether a pattern is secure enough or not? If we want to have only 3 taps, it could just be at our own risk. I think most people won't even know how to operate it anyways; its a pretty unique idea. Also to speed things up it would be nice to be able to tap without having to swipe first.
Nice design overall. I missed the music equalizer I had on my custom rom, but the clean simplicity of what you have for changing the music is a good replacement I can use on my stock rom! Nice job.
Is it possible to change the clock style? Or turn off the phone shortcut? Just some ideas.
As far as bugs, I didn't really notice any except that sometimes the stock lockscreen comes up first, usually after a reboot.
Thanks for the app, nice job on it! ??

I tried to register timings, but it just doesn't work. "Not quite my tempo" :silly:
3 taps would be really not enough
It is basically only 2 combination - * ** or ** *
I do plan to add more clock styles, maybe even cycle through them each time. And removing swipe is also a good idea, thanx!
Update 1.012:

Thank you for update.
Can you please add option to hide battery % & icon on lock screen?
Can you also add option to remove default second screen of Tap locker with hexagonal textures?

Can't remove the second screen - "Forgot pattern" button is a must.
So far so good!
I've testing this app for a short time but i fund it pretty good.
I think you should do a cuadrant for the taps (Like te lg devices) it more comfortable in my opinion, i'm just using the swipe feature and i love it.
Keep the good work.

Hey,
I just stumbled upon this. I can't try your app at this very moment, though (phone's battery is dead) but if at some time you'd want to implement a LG-like locking feature on your app, maybe you'd want to check at this.

I think LG have a patent on this, maybe this is why the free library was taken down. Anyway, don't think i will implement it.

Cometin
What is Cometin
Cometin is a free*, growing collection of tweaks and tricks to optimize your productivity and improve the Android experience.
More information
I can create a separate app for every idea I have. But why shouldn't I put everything in 1 app?
Google announced Dynamic Modules at the IO in 2019
With dynamic features you can split an app into several parts. This is exactly what Cometin is.
Cometin is a growing collection of tricks and tweaks for your Android device, split into modules.
This way you only download the features that you want to use and save your storage space.
Available modules (with some small descriptions)
• Ambient display
bring a customized Ambient display, Always-on-display and wave to wake to your device
• App locker
Lock apps behind a passcode or pattern
• Better rotation
Forces every app to be compatible with every orientation including 180 degrees
• Caffeine
Keep your screen on for a certain amount of time
• Cometin Sync
Sync notifications, and notes between phones and desktops
• Darker brightness
Go below the minimum brightness by applying a dark overlay on top of your screen
• Flip to shhh (beta)
Flip your phone face down to silent notifications (except alarms)
• Heads-up
Hide head-up notifications
• Immersive
Hide statusbar, navigationbar or both
• Parallel
Create a work profile to seperate personal and work
• Remap assistant
Execute a different action when opening the assistant
Is this safe?
Yes! All modules are only served from the Google Play Store, all modules are scanned by Google Play Protect so nothing to worry about!
Installing modules:
The installation of modules is done immediately, and you can use the module immediately after installation.
Updating modules:
Installed modules are automatically updated together with Cometin. No hassle with separate files!
Removing modules:
Module uninstalls do not occur immediately. That is, the device uninstalls them in the background in the next 24 hours.
Request for new features:
Requests for new features are always welcome! However, I cannot promise anything about the actual arrival of these features.
Request your features via my support ticket system. This way you can keep track of the status of features.
Need help or got problems?
If you are stuck or need more information, don't hesitate and contact me via Telegram, XDA or my support ticket system. That way I can best help you.

Will test other modules too and provide feedback for any improvements.

Thanks for the app.
I've enabled Ambient Display module. When I receive a notification, screen wakes up showing the stock lockscreen and after a second lag, the Ambient Display shows up.
Using on Moto g4 play with Pixel Experience ROM 9.0

Always on display
this app is awesome! i turned on Ambient Display on my Pixel 3xl; is there any way i can have always on display with the new customized display? Right now, i only see it whenever i get a notification.
Nice app OP. Is there network speed indicator that show download and upload speed in notification in future? Mine using mia1 stock rom, if this app can achieve that i would be happier coz no need to use edexposed anymore
When I remapped assistant, it broke calling up the Google Assistant
When I remapped Google Assistant, it broke it. Google Assistant can no longer be summoned by my voice. Is this a bug? Pixel 3 Android 10.
Nice idea! For now just testing ambient display.
Would you consider adding the option to unlink ring and notification volumes? Linked behaviour is very annoying.
Thanks again for you work!
I'm trying out Ambient display on my tablet and I'm not sure I'm using it right. It's enabled, and I've customized it, but the ambient display doesn't turn on my screen when I get a notification. Is it also possible for me to make the ambient display show when I open the cover of my tablet (my case is one of those kinds that have a flap to cover to the front).
Like the app lots - do you think adding an always on to the ambient display might be a good idea for anyone with an amoled screen but no native option?
Like oneplus owners?
Like me... ?
Hello
First of all thank this application. It is essential for me.
I've enabled Ambient Display module. I need when I'm studying to get notifications on the lock screen and see a header of them.
Now when a notification arrives there is a small lag when you press on the screen to enter.
It would be great to be able to configure the time that these notifications are on the screen, as well as the position in the same and the amount of notifications that one needs.
Best regards and thanks again!
Reporting after a couple of days of testing.
Just used the ambient display and it looks fantastic.
Works everytime too.
Apart from the lag that others have noted, i noticed 2 other issues:
a) when this is enabled, screen dimming & screen off seems to be forced. I've noticed the default time reverting to 15 seconds. Even if there is activity on the screen, it still forces the screen dimming and turning off.
b) there seems to be a noticeable increase in battery drain.
If I uninstall the app will it uninstall all modules right then?

I've also noticed screen off time reverting to 15 seconds. Is Ambient Display working fine?
Using the Cloud Dashboard and I noticed Microsoft's "Your Phone" application which connects my Windows computer with my phone no longer connects. Does the Cloud Dashboard preempt this connection? Both applications show my phone's (Pro 7) notifications. Your Phone also gives easy access to photos, allows for SMS messaging from a Windows computer and, with the next Windows feature update, will allow for calling from a computer via a phone. I'd like to keep both application up and running.

The display of ambient display works well. The lag issue that others have mentioned, exists. Due to ambient display however, i see some quirks with forced screen locking etc

Power menu controls
Android 11 has a power menu which is mostly used for home controls. But if you are not using any smart home appliance, the space is basically wasted.
This app adds handy device toggles to the space.
Examples:
Rotation lock
Wake lock
Screen timeout
Brightness toggles
Media volume toggles
Some setup screenshots from users:

The app will be evolved to add more controls. Let me know of any additional suggestions!

Thank you. Makes the otherwise useless Power menu much more interesting.
I dont want to point out the obvious, but all those things are available from the notification shade....who is going to make it harder to reach them by pressing a button to get at them?

All these are NOT available in the Quick Tiles on a standard Google ROM. For example, Wake Lock & Volume. Also, the dev is asking for suggestions, so YOU could ask for something that is not available as a quick tile.

A. A11 power menu has useless space already, so this makes it useful
B. Power button is easier to reach than pulling down the quick settings
C. Dev wanted to make it, so he did xD
Nice app!
I would like to launch apps, like GCAM and standard Camera in selfie mode (using a shortcut or an intent).
(It may be possible to use Tasker for this.)
One use case is to do actions without unlocking the phone (gloves, sweaty fingers etc).
The behavior on My Sony Xperia 5 ii if the phone is locked is that I need to enable flashlight, then the lockscreen opens and I have to press the Power once to turn off the screen before the flash turns on.

I love the features added. But since you ask
The wake-Lock is commonly labeled as "Caffeine" in the custom ROMs I have used before (its normally featured as a QuickTile)
The Caffeine feature normally allows some default break-points in time for when it will automatically turn off. eg 5min, 10min, 30min or never.

Hello, great app I have only two notes.
Please add possibility to keep default brightness in WAKE LOCK mode (I use Mi A3 based on Android ONE and with button active it keeps screen awake, but after some time screen dimms)
Another point is to add button which would turn on MAX BRIGHTNESS (very helpful in some cases) and.. if possible such button would switch off/on AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS button simultaneously, or simply restore default system AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS settings after switching off the button.
