OnePlus charger - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. I need a fast charger for my OnePlus. Does it have to be a warp/dash charger or can it be any fast charger. If so can someone give me a link for a good one that uses UK adapter.

Charger, pls recmmend

Im searching for a 1.5a charger. Can you recommend a charger from another phone? I find it really hard to find one when ever i was asked what phone i have and when i said moto g, they just said no. Most of the time i see 2.0 or 2.1a i know moto g still support that but i read that it heats the phone. Thats why im searching for the max amp that moto suppprts. Pls reply from what phone do you use, like brand and phone model. Pls only 1.5a. Thanks.

Just buy one of those 2amp chargers you've seen.Your phone has built-in circuitry that will limit the current to 1.5A anyway. In other words, your phone won't heat up more than, if you're using 1.5A charger.
Actually there are some reports that uses 2.0a+ charger that heats up their phone.

I second that. I'm using a 2.1 A charger and the phone is not heting up during during the charge.

I found this one (it is not 1.5, but 1.2):
Nokia AC-10E
Input: 100-240V, 50-60Hz
Output: 5.0V, 1200mA
For my Moto G sometimes I use my mother's phone charger and it charges quite fast my phone. It is an HTC charger:
HTC TC E250
Input: 100-240V/200 mA
Output: 5V, 1A
Thanks giugo.
i use my old nokia E52's charger...output is 1200mA (1.2 A)..charge fast and haven't faced any issue yet
you may go and grab one of nokia's charger in my opinion :good:
S3 stock charger 1 amp and s4 stock charger 2 amp .

Where to buy fast charger?

Where can I purchase a fast charger for the honor 8? Also will the Samsung fast charger work with the honor 8?
Fast charger comes out of the box with Honor 8 why do you need it?, u can not use Samsung fast charger on Huawei phone.
apparently at the time being there is none, although i bet you could get it from China, but best not get things that we are not sure about its originality! I am waiting for someone to sell their fast carger too..
Best option is to buy a genuine one from eBay. It is the only place so far you can get a true huawei quick charge.
Huawei mate 8 have the same charger, here's mine from AliExpress http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69099182&postcount=14 link in that thread. Works with no issues at all.
Is there a car cigarette lighter plug in one from a previous phone that also works with fast charging? 5V 2A wall chargers work fine and my friend's LG G4 charger did as well. Neither was using Fast Charge, but AIDA64 said they were charging at ~2A which got me a decent amount of juice in 30 minutes anyway.
edit: This was supposed to be in reply to the post directly below.

What is the Best charger ( faster charging ) ?

Hello XDA. I recently bought a long charger for my nexus 6p however it didn't charge as fast as the original wire. I'm looking for a new charger and a wire of at least 3m that'll charge at a fast rate like the stock or faster will be better.
There's a sticky in the accessories thread that covers this but decided to help you anyway... also only a bad USB cable might charge slow. usb stock charger and stock cable you'll be fine but if you still want a long one, check below.
Benson Lueng reviews a bunch of USB Type C chargers, pick any of the chargers that are highly rated :good:
Same prob . Refresh link if possible or if u can be arsed . Would be appreciated

Longer warp charger cable

Do you guys know where to find a warp charger that's longer than 150cm? lol. I hate the short cable OP gives you in the box.
Cable in the box is only 100cm. I did see some 2m cables being sold on AliExpress, but has OnePlus ever produced such a long cable? It likely still works, but I'd be weary of the safety/quality of it.

Dash charge cables apparently work with warp charge so if you can find a longer dash charge cable you are good

There are some on amazon that work great on my 6T and would probably work for Warp also. Just read reviews and descriptions and it will tell you if they are compatible.
These are the ones I bought and they work awesome for Dash quick charging. Colors in black or red.

Bought a 6ft Dash cable directly from OnePlus when I bought my 5 a couple years ago, still works like a charm.
T-Mobile sell a 5ft dash charger cable on their website. I would post the link but I think it violates terms.

Car Chargers for 8T

I'm looking for a car charger for my OnePlus 8T that will give me the same charging speeds as the stock charger that comes in the box. I'm assuming it will need to be a 65w type c charger, but there are a lot of options on Amazon and I figured I'd check with you guys first to see what everyone's using. Please share what car chargers you have and what works best! Thanks!
