I'm looking for a car charger for my OnePlus 8T that will give me the same charging speeds as the stock charger that comes in the box. I'm assuming it will need to be a 65w type c charger, but there are a lot of options on Amazon and I figured I'd check with you guys first to see what everyone's using. Please share what car chargers you have and what works best! Thanks!

If you google hauwei super charger some cables and wall adapters show up. They look like they have the purple. Not sure if they are legit. Probly not.
I bought a couple of these on AliExpress, they look excactly the same and they do work with SuperCharge, very happy with them!
I need the cable in a 2M length. That is the issue. I see that there is one it there by Higoo but it is not available in Canada. I wish the charging technology was not so proprietary !

I confirm, ordered car adapter from the same seller. 100% genuine (passes authentication procedure on Huawei site), supports Super Charge. Very-very good price.
Thanks, man!
I've just bought a UK supercharger from eBay and after a quick search it looks like the UK versions don't have the purple. It does the job though (supercharges) and appears to have the quality of a genuine item.

I have an Anker Quick Car Charger QC3.0 which offer INPUT: 12V / 24V AUTO SWITCH
OUTPUT:
3.6V-6.5V =3A
6.5V-9V = 2.7A
9V-12V=2A
FAST Inteligent charger QC3.0.
My question is, can i use it for Huawei Mate 9? I dont mind if it is not chare fast enough, but will this charger cause any potential damage to the phone? has any one used QC3.0 car charger for the Mate 9?
I just checked Huawei's website : their car charger's output: 4.5V=5A, 9v=2A, but did not mention 9-12v...
thanks

I use a QC2.0 car charger with the included with the phone and it charges just fine. The phone draws 2A. It's not as fast as the included wall adapter but it's still pretty fast
Hi all, just ordered a Pixel XL to replace my 4 core failing Nexus 6P. I have no idea what kind of charger is coming with it, and even if its OEM, I'd like to have 2. I have read many threads about the non PD compliant chargers not providing rapid charge, and am wondering what the consensus is on using a Nintendo Switch charger? My local Best buy has the official Google Pixel XL charger for $34.99, and the official Switch AC adapter is $10 less. Has anyone tried this, or have any thoughts on using this? With all the stories about nonPD if I have to, I'll just get the official google one, but was wondering if this was an option.
Thank you!
The Pixel XL comes with a USB-C charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable, so any standard USB-A rapid charger will work.

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/accessories/usb-c-pd-chargers-google-pixel-xl-t3474205
that only certain chargers provide fast charge. I did not buy the phone new so I don't know if it comes with the standard google charger or not.
belkin type c rapid charger should be available for cheap at your local walmart/target/best buy. pretty good quality cable for the price.
My switch charger ended up damaging the port after continued use. I recommend saving up for the official one
Tried many chargers, only the original Google ones seem to charge at rapid charging speed. Oh Belkin car charger ones does as well.
I tried a NS charger (HAC-002 USZ) on a Pixel XL a day ago and it worked fine and did rapid charging.
Mine didn't come with a charger (bought off eBay). I bought a so called fast charger (can't remember brand but it looked legit Qualcomm fast charge capable) and it says it's fast charging but it takes about twice as long to charge as my old OnePlus 5 did.
I Just ordered the OP6. Just wondering if there is any harm using other type C charger beside the Dash charger. I have multiple type C charger that's Benson approved charger
u just cannot enjoy the fast charging that you not using dash charger and cable. :cyclops:
I use a Pixel charger on my 5T all the time. I believe it's perfectly fine as long as it's a sound charger. Look for Benson's list to find good chargers.
As long as you're not buying cheap ebay chinese "quickcharge" chargers, anything should be fine. Name brand and even most chinese no name ones as long as they're not stupid cheap will simply not provide the incorrect voltage. Phones that can use say 9v or 20v or whatever they're up to now have special hardware and firmware to tell the charger to provide a higher voltage, so using a charger designed for them with a 5v standard phone would at worst not work and more likely just charge at a normal speed.
The problem using other quick chargers is that takes forever to charge vs the dash chargers
Do you guys know where to find a warp charger that's longer than 150cm? lol. I hate the short cable OP gives you in the box.
Cable in the box is only 100cm. I did see some 2m cables being sold on AliExpress, but has OnePlus ever produced such a long cable? It likely still works, but I'd be weary of the safety/quality of it.

Dash charge cables apparently work with warp charge so if you can find a longer dash charge cable you are good

There are some on amazon that work great on my 6T and would probably work for Warp also. Just read reviews and descriptions and it will tell you if they are compatible.
These are the ones I bought and they work awesome for Dash quick charging. Colors in black or red.

Bought a 6ft Dash cable directly from OnePlus when I bought my 5 a couple years ago, still works like a charm.
T-Mobile sell a 5ft dash charger cable on their website. I would post the link but I think it violates terms.
Can anyone give me a suggestion for a car charger that fast charges that is not the oneplus official?
They seem to b out of stock and likely won't arrive in time.
