Where to buy fast charger? - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

Where can I purchase a fast charger for the honor 8? Also will the Samsung fast charger work with the honor 8?

Fast charger comes out of the box with Honor 8 why do you need it?, u can not use Samsung fast charger on Huawei phone.

apparently at the time being there is none, although i bet you could get it from China, but best not get things that we are not sure about its originality! I am waiting for someone to sell their fast carger too..

Best option is to buy a genuine one from eBay. It is the only place so far you can get a true huawei quick charge.

Huawei mate 8 have the same charger, here's mine from AliExpress http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69099182&postcount=14 link in that thread. Works with no issues at all.

Is there a car cigarette lighter plug in one from a previous phone that also works with fast charging? 5V 2A wall chargers work fine and my friend's LG G4 charger did as well. Neither was using Fast Charge, but AIDA64 said they were charging at ~2A which got me a decent amount of juice in 30 minutes anyway.

Use another charger and cable

I bought a Lenovo p2 wich have fast charging, but i charge the phone at the night and i dont need the fast charging feature, and the fast charge heat the phone a bit. I think it is more healthy for the phone to not use the fast charging if i dont need. Am i right?
So, can i use a charger and a cable of redmi note 3 pro? Or should i buy another from another brand? Thanks!
I don't know what the official word on this is. But I use chargers of other phones all the time. I have never had a problem so far.

Fast charging confusion please help

Ok so... I have some confusion I need to wrap my head around right.
So I went on holiday recently and I forgot to bring the charger that came in the box with my honor 8 so I decided to buy one on holiday. So I bought the Samsung adaptive fast charging wall adapter and used that.
Now here's my problem I recently realized that when I used the Samsung charger my phone says fast charging and it has two lightning bolt symbols on the battery percentage but when I used my normal charger that came in the box with it it just says charging.
But the honor charger charges much faster even if it doesn't says fast charging but the Samsung one is very slow. So now I'm confused does the honor 8 charger do fast charge or not and if it does why doesn't it say fast charging like the Samsung charger. I'm really confused now.
Also is there a fast charger that the honor 8 supports and actually charges faster with please let me know
As far as I know Huawei/Honor phones only fast charge with their proprietary chargers that you got in the box with the phone. However last month dog chewed my USB C cable and for some reason my H8 would not charge at all with original charger but when I plug that same cable in Samsung fast charge charger it would only display one lightning symbol but would noticeably charge faster, but the only way to find this out is to use Ampere app and compare the results.

Compatible Chargers?

Will any 65W charger work for Super VOOC charging or does it have to be the specific Oppo charger? Anyone have any experience? I rather leave the charger it comes with new in the box for selling purposes and would pick one up on Amazon if it works with a regular 65w charger
I try to use with MacBook adapter 85w, chardiging working normaly, fast like qc2.0 But original super Fast 2-3 times less, i recomend use original chardger, its azing expirirence to chardge phone 5 min to 25%

Yeah I found it is proprietary for Super VOOC. Although 65W, it needs to deliver it at 6 amps & 10 volts to get the super fast charging. No on the market charger has that option (even smart 65w chargers) to deliver the power at that rate... if I keep the phone long enough, I'll just get one from aliexpress.
You can buy oneplus chardger, i try with old (op5) oppo show vooc chardge. And with new (op 7t pro) chardger i have super vooc. Its the same.

Oneplus Warp charger 30T charges at VOOC, not super VOOC, for me
hello
have a nice day
Would the OnePlus Warp Charge 65 Power Adapter (https://www.oneplus.com/uk/product/oneplus-warp-charge-65-power-adapter) be apple to charge an Oppo Find X2 Pro with the same speed as the original charger?
15-18w charger from samsung charges fast too without melting the battery like 65w.

Anyone else having wireless charger issues?

I have a basic cheap qi charger I used with my last phone, never had an issue. With my Mi 10 Ultra it only charges correctly like 1/10 times when I place it down on the charger. The weird thing is it shows it's charging, the pad and phone get warm which means electricity is flowing somehow, but the phone drops in battery instead of charging... I don't even know what to say or do. Kind of tempted to buy that 55w wireless charger though.
I had a similar issue but found that I had a few stock apps going in the background draining the battery quicker than it could charge (it was a cheap low wattage charger). Force closed the apps and killed a couple of processes and it steadily increased. Not ideal but I took that as a sign of using a cheap wireless charger.
Still on the stock chinese Rom until I get out of unlock jail so if you're on the EU Rom this might not help.
I bought the 55W wireless charger with my phone and it's brilliant.
I tested my previous Samsung 15w wireless charger & Huawei 15w charger with the Ultra and the charging speed was a trickle (according to Accubattery app) and near unusable on the phone so will probably go for the Xiaomi 55w charger from Aliexpress which some sellers seem to be offering the 65w charging brick with.
Will sell the 2 chargers I have whci should pay for the replacement
Does anyone have a source other than aliexpress/baba for the 55w wireless charger? I don't want to wait over a month for it.
Eh... I found other sites where it cost more and took longer to ship. I decided the fastest way to get it was to buy it from the fastest shipping seller on aliexpress and not delay any more
mine seems to have stopped saying fast charging when using my wireless charger, possibly since moving to the EU rom.
Just as proof this phone has something fundamentally wrong with its Qi charging compatibility, the charger only draws 2-3w from the wall when it's not working right. It uses 8+ when it's charging right. That's not the charger. The phone is doing something wrong.
2-3w appears to be what it draws when it's doing the detection algorithm to make sure it's compatible and will accept a charge. It does the same thing on my old s20+ but then goes up in wattage when it's actually charging to 9+.
I am using the 20W wireless car charger together with the 55W wireless charger (with 65watt GAN charger), and both of them works fine and fast. Just to beware that the car wireless charger is quite heavy and may stress your AC vents.
Something has definitely changed since moving to the EU rom. On the CN rom, it would activate the fan in my Huawei charger and say fast charging, now no fan and no fast charging.
Have you added it as a bug on the EU forum. It's ok noting it here but it needs to go on the bugs list to be noticed

I bought two of these (in Canada) for my S21 ultra and both do "super fast charging". Cheap and do the job

I rarely fast charge anything, I normally baby my batteries and just use very low wattage chargers, but I do own an Anker 3-port (2x USB-C 100W charge, and one USB-A, whatever that's capable of). I mostly use it with my tablet when I need to, but I've used it with my phone once or twice.
Using an Anker Nano II 30W charger here (PD/PPS), although most of the time I charge my phone through my laptop (C>C) to keep heat down.
Question would a s21 ultra charger fast charge on pixel 7?
Would my OP9 charger and cable be fine?
Since it limits the Wattage anyways
I think that with these 3 news that dedicate an article on the best chargers for our P7 pro, I think you should find your choice
xda-developpers => These are the best chargers, cables, and other accessories to buy for the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in 2022
Android Authority => The best Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro chargers
AndroidPolice => The best Google Pixel 7 wireless chargers in 2022
I have a OnePlus charger 65w and a couple of Huawai Mate 20 pro chargers 40w (I believe). Will these charge the pixel on full speed? I'm awaiting Pixel 7 pro

Yes. The Warp 65W charger supports USB PD 3.0 PPS up to 45W (phone will charge at no more than 23W)
OnePlus Warp Charge 65 Power Adapter NA

It is ridiculous that these companies can get away with selling a high price device without a charging block. Here is your brand new car, you will need to bring a gas can if you want to drive it off the lot. We do not supply gasoline as the time of purchase.
I recommend these 3 chargers:
Google charger, 30 W, USB-C only, 29 € (I own this one, works well, uses PPS, but makes some tiny noise sometimes)
Samsung charger, USB-C + USB-A, 35 W, 23 €, uses PPS as well
Wicked Chili charger, USB C + USB-A, 33 W, 25 €, GaN (I own this one, too, it also uses PPS, it's very small, but I'm not sure if it's available everywhere. In Germany, it is.)
I've got this Anker charger https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B016LPMFUA
But I've been charging the Pixel 7 Pro with an old LG Nexus 5x charger Which seems to charge a little faster than the Anker.
I was a little hesitant plugging the chargers in at first but after asking around ye old internet it seems both chargers will do the job fine for now. I'm at a loss which replacement charger to buy next though as there are so many to choose from.

This is the one I have, bought for my S21 Ultra last year. Supports 25W so I would hope it charges the S7 Pro fast enough. Ridiculously fast charging doesn't appeal to me, as it has a big negative impact on the battery. I charge my phones overnight at normal speed.
I have an Anker Nano II Pro (20W) in my travel bag but for overnight charging at home i use an Anker power strip with build in USB A ports that charges slowly in conjunction with adaptive charging.
