OSS vendor means OpenSourceSoftware Vendor. This vendor is custom made and doesn't include MIUI bloats. Also, this vendor completely removes the need to flash another specific vendor for your device because it works on every model of Raphael. It is super smooth and bloat-free.

Hello everyone, since I have this phone, it is not possible for me to install any other rom than Miui based roms. Besides, I'm only able to run Orange Fox, no normal TWRP. Yesterday I tried to flash this rom. After flashing I should enter an unlock code at the first boot, which I didn't have of course. After deleting everything except internal memory and flashing again, my phone started to the SIM unlock screen and then bootloops. I redownloaded the Rom again but there was no problem with the zip, same as before… bootloops right after showing the unlock screen. I didn't even had time to enter the unlock code. Does anyone have any idea what's going wrong?

For me FP reader do not work and no FP reader in settings, front flash is always on, same bugs like other pie gsi roms.

Why not? There must be a way around. Since Mi A2 is A/B partition, search for Pixel Experience GSI ARM64-A/B or something like that.
Nice rom, will try it if already stable.
Did anyone tried this ROM except me ? I can not figure out how the hell I have same buggs on every single GSI PIE ROM including this? In the OP it says no bugs... What am I doing wrong

I have wiped system, dalvik, cache, data, and formatted data (internal storage). Clean install this zip after that. Same bugs also when I have flashed latest PE system img with twrp over this ROM.
I am using 6/128 A2 version. I think it is very smooth and fast rom, but these bugs are really annoying, especially when front flash turn on when you are using face unlock.

Newbie here
I guess the bug you're talking about turning on the flash when face unlock is not a bug. Actually it only occurs when you are in a low light situations.

Is fingerprint already working?
If it is I will try it on my device too
To be cleared, bugs:
-Flash on front facing camera is ALWAYS ON no meter what light condition is.
-For face unlock, front camera is used to recognize you, so for a second flash comes ON when camera is checking for your face (connected with first bug I wrote)
-Fingerprint is not working at all, and there is no FP reader settings in settings app
-No 4K recording option at all in stock app, gcam port app, open camera app
-Notification light is always on or do not work at all
Those bugs are present in every GSI ROM I have tried (LOS 16, LOS 16 with gapps, Benzo ROM, AOSP 9 latest 3 builds) and in this ROM also. Those bugs were present with A2 stock firmware and A/B GSI images, and also after conversion to 6X using A only images. This is device specific problem A2/6X. Saw some videos on youtube where FP reader works etc, asked about that in comments and didn't get answers. Maybe they used some fixes, mods, or another vendor, boot img, firmware, I don't know...

Also, I Saw that the title says CAF, but theres no mention of it in the build version. Is it CAF?
It is very fluid, double touch to wake up works, I hope the new update of PE goes as fast as this, I prefer the pixel colors style and a cleaner rom without so much makeup

Installation steps:
1. Back to STOCK MIUI11(Android 10 required)
2. Boot into TWRP (I recommend using TWRP-3.3.1-1109-REDMI_K20-CN-wzsx150-fastboot)
3. Wipe data, and then reboot to TWRP again
4. Copy zip into /sdcard, and then flash the zip
5. Reboot, waiting about 5 minutes to setup wizard

If I flashed gsi before, the ROM was distributed as "system.img" not a ZIP and when i flashed the IMG to the system partition and format data, It usualy works.

nope，this is not phhgsi after all.
there is no doubt that this is a great rom , but there iz some issuses faces me like : when inserting finger print it doesnt work gives me message (partial fingerprint detected)
some times when unlock the device the screen fresh rate seems like 20hz !!
and there is a small lag
and please a quick help for the front camera
- facebook videos are very laggy (about .25x of the real speed) and no sound
- sometimes a small lag while opening or closing apps
- fingerprint set-up is very confusing , it keep saying partial fingerprint detected , but in the end i used to get it working
- media sounds sometimes stops without no reason

I ask it cause developper stopped workin at dipper version.. but ı love this rom and ı wanna use ıt sooo much...
Wow...a hidden gem among roms. Using since a week. No heating, random reboots and laggy ui. Even deleting huge files doesn't take time. Well after being frustated from stock rom ofcourse. Since capera2api is activated already, gcam by thedise works smoothly. After ARcore magisk module...it's perfect. Also ANX camera works smoothly...only autofocus in pro mode doesn't work and of course no switch to secondary camera lens. But added thing is intelligent ui and bimoji in cam itself.
Huge advantage of this rom: Xiaomi parts containing display vibrance, mi sound and controlling kernel for gaming mode.
Combination of pixel and miui. No unnecessary huge settings. Battery back up great and no heating.
Even Google Play Store shows certified device.
Rom unrelated question: while flashing, my internal storage was encrypted and couldn't decrypt resulting in formatting data to install rom. How can I prevent it?
And I am never in hurry so please update this rom once in 2-3 months if possible OR just keep alive. This surely is a stable rom. Love to use it as a regular rom.

For the encryption issue: I guess you directly flashed extended UI after stock. If this this is the case then format data is necessary.

Yes it does.
Can this ROM actually use encryption or I will to run around with a decrypted phone in order to use this one? Looks pretty nice tho.

The settings app is messed up. It works but the icons and headers in System are not correct but they take you to the expected places when clicked on. It's completely random. I added a screenshot so you see what I mean...

hi after flashing my phone got bootloop into PBRP all i did is wipe data , davlik and cache

There is no custom rom works based on 12.0.21 because a lot of bug like wifi,bluetooth,hotspot,..

Does gps works with this ROM without flashing google apps ?
I have tried lineage 17.1 ROM on my phone and gps didn't work so idk if Google apps are requirement for gps to work

Another question, is it possible to change the Custom Recovery (PBRP) to for example Orange or is it possible to cause problems? I don't like PBRP too much but I saw that Orange Fox lacks options, especially for backup, and the camera application that comes with the base system does not take pictures or recordings, is there an alternative for this? best regards.

yes, i installed the rom with twrp, in my opinion PBRP is not mandatory
