I can't fix this, this already know bug on aosp M7 ,
Try use 3rd camera, it will crash but will save image
For torch use 3rd apps

Tried it as well seemed great or just the same for the moment as other ROMS except for the settings being all over the place. Which keep me from sticking in for a little longer.
Although I liked that Bootscreen and have not seen Roms take advantage of different app loading screen after flashing. (Eye candy I guess)
I've seen you port other Roms so I'm just jumping back and forth. Lol.

Actually I love it!
For me the settings menu is super powerful, I enjoy being able to change almost everything.
There are some issues though:
- searching in Settings can rarely find any specific setting/option I am looking for from within.
- Casting can perform negotiation with the Wireless display but can cot actually build up the rtp connection stream. TL/DR: connects but then just nothing happens, then it disconnects.
- facebook libsslx.so bug - if there, FB and Messenger won't start. If deleted I cannot call or edit my posts.
- Camera exits after every photo taken
- Kernel Adiutor reports boot settings applied from time to time even if I had not restarted the phone
- Phone restarts on its own about once a day
- Snapcat crashes on startup
- When using pattern lock, incoming call is behind the lock, cannot answer without unlocking (maybe a security feature?)
- audio enhancements (beats, dolby etc) are missing
- flashlight mode works for <1 sec
- when locked and I swipe down on a notification it brings down the notification pane, and I cannot exit from it using the home or back keys, only swiping up exits from it. It works fine when unlocked.
What is actually proven to be operating very well:
- snappy
- very good battery life
- extremely customizable
- vibration intensity can be adjusted at will (finally I could lower it! )
- rotation works fine
- smart power menu works fine (booting straight to recovery, soft reboot, etc)

Did you first Flash MIUI6.6.10 ? If no, please first Flash the said version and then try installing again. I did the same and it worked like a charm.

I'm from Mokee...
Not necessary to flash that ROM, right? As I'm not on MIUI 7 or above anymore.
Also, I'm currently running on AOSP-OMS, and it's boot perfectly.

First thing: Its *Nihhaar.
Second thing: No OTA updates for any ROMS here(OTA's are only for official).
Third thing: What update do u want(if there are no problems at all)?

It's not extraordinary but ok since it has tons of features(like RR rom). But the performance is very good though.

Smooth, seemingly bug free.
Only thing: Heating issue, different from PacMan ROM which was nice and cool.
No dirty flash, I did a complete clean install.

A: This is not a rom specific bug, it is a pie related bug.
2. How to transfer from USB/Enable MTP?
A: Enable developer settings and inside it select File Transfer/MTP as USB Configuration.
3. GApps/Google Apps FCs/Force closing issue. [Fix credit - BLUE HACK]
A: Remove SD Card on first boot after installing ROM.
4. Notifications from Play Store not showing when downloading.
A: Go to settings, search for 'Data Transfer Tool', go to storage>clear storage>yes and then reboot your phone. Downloading status from Play Store should now appear in notifications.
5. Non-Certified Play Store. [Fix credit - mitchelldemarucot]
A: For most of the users, it shows certified on Play Store, but if yours show not certified then follow these steps:
1. Clear all apps in the background (Recent apps)
2. Open Settings
3. Go to 'Apps & notifications'
4. Click 'Google Play Store' > Storage > CLEAR DATA> Ok
5. Do the same with 'Google Play services' (To see this app, click the three dot icons at the top right corner and click 'Show System') [Note: This is an optional step if just clearing 'Google Play Store' doesn't work for you]
6. Reboot your device.
6. What are the GApps installed?
A: Pico GApps.
7. How do I enable on screen navigation and pie gestures?
A: Add this line - 'qemu.hw.mainkeys=0' to the build.prop in /system (without the ') & reboot and then go to settings and enable swipe up gesture (you can search for it).
8. Sim reset issues at every boot.
A: This is a bug common on all Pie-based ROMs out there, so this is again not a ROM specific bug, but hopefully it'll be solved soon.
BONUS: If you are coming from another ROM or another android version (eg. 8.1 Oreo) or if you are coming from a sGSI image then clean flash is recommended:
1. Backup all your data
2. TWRP>WIPE>FORMAT DATA>'YES'
3. Wipe>System-Data-Vendor-Cache-Dalvik Cache
4. Reboot recovery
5. Flash Pixel Experience ROM (No need to flash GApps)
6. Reboot to system.

A5. Yes, I can confirm this bug - the network/signal reception is fluctuating a lot and is not stable (Tested on Jio 4G VoLTE).
Q6. What is ambient play and how do I enable it?
A6. Ambient play is a always-listening music recognition feature from the pixel 2 phone that shows you information about the music playing around you. To enable it –
1. Go to settings>display>ambient display.
2. Go to Now Playing.
3. Turn it on and adjust the settings to your likeness.
Q7. How to enable weather on lockscreen?
A7. Here's how –
1. Go to settings>Security & Location>Lock screen Preferences.
2. Change the temperature unit to your likeness - Celsius or Fahrenheit.
3. The weather should show up on lockscreen.
Q8. Do you recommend this build?
A8. Absolutely! Vitor has done a wonderful job with this build. A lot of optimisation has been done to the kernel too so it’s really smooth and there are no lags whatsoever until now. I have been using this for 2 hours now and I love it.
If something is not working for you, or there are some bugs, then you probably have done something wrong, kindly do not blame the build or Vitor, though you can still ask for a resolution to your problem with kindness.
At last, a heartful thank you to Vitor for building and maintaining the pixel experience rom for our lovely mido, you are doing a great job friend!
Edit: I think I found a new bug – Theme settings does not apply on the notification panel. It remains dark themed no matter what you select in the theme settings - Automatic/Light/Dark - it just stays dark.

Battrry life is legendary because of stock franco kernel. The ui is pretty smooth no lag. But less customization because its PE ofcourse. Btw this rom is so good for daily driver

Q: what's the difference between stock and plus
A: Since August 2 versions on PE began rolling
PE : pretty much a full stock experience no mods or add ons
PE-plus: all mods from previous version and some extra features
Q: Do you plan to become official
A: Yes, but some work needs to be done first
Q: Gpay doesn't work
A: some people had success with this patch , please be sure /data is mounted

Thanks for your work on this, I thought PE was all but dead since Andro moved onto other projects.
I've been using 20190216-0408 as my daily driver for a while now and have very few bugs, but one issue (although very superficial) is that notification icons don't automatically disappear when you open them from the pulldown notification menu. It's easily rectified by pulling down on the notification bar a second time, but is this corrected in your version?

Haven't seen that issue here , this is not based on Andros work it's my own dt built from scratch

I think he means format data, if you come from MIUI.

I've encountered a bug of sorts, idk. I tried taking a picture but the camera app was black front/back cameras.
then i went into facebook messenger and whatsapp and same, black images fornt/back cameras.
reboot and all fine

Maybe it's gcam not liking to be installed as a system app , if it happens again think you can provide logs ?

Face Unlock is something that will be added in future
and as far as fast charging goes it works fine you should probably check your cable

Face unlock ?

Great Rom , but has some annoying bugs or adjustments to make.
- Wifi sometimes bugs(doesn't show any network at all when I got like 20 networks nearby).
- Installing magisk results in bootloop for some reason.
- Encryption works only with pattern, please make it possible with pin.

Everything you've mentioned in your post has been fixed in the latest build released today. Feel free to check it out! Also, faceunlock has been also added. Encryption will for now only work with pattern, so that's that.

yes everything is fixed now in the latest build
you can flash the new unofficial twrp. you can decrypt via pin and password and pattern too.

you need to flash magisk debug first. boot into rom. then flash magisk v21. it all works fine after that
