[Q] In call volume is too low

Hi,
I just bought the Nexus S from bestbuy.
I'm having trouble with the in call volume which is too low.
It almost impossible to hear the other side while in a noisy room.
I used the left button to bring it to the maximum but it almost doesn't help.
Did any of you experienced such an issue?
Is anyone familiar with any HW\SW solution ?

On call speaker issue

Just got my plus 1 today and noticed when on a call the speaker phone volume is really poor but when doing anything else with it its fine.. Anyone else with this issue?

This is a known issue. Hopefully a fix will come with the next update.

When I speak to another pearson, I can barely hear them. Generaly everything is too low. Volume is on max. Any help? How to fix this problem?

Very low speaker and call volume after Nougat update

Since I've upgraded, my speaker and call volume are very low. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yes. Me. Is there anything we can do to fix that?

This is a problem for me too. I've tried a few volume booster apps, but nothing works. I use bluetooth a lot and really hoping there's a solution to increase volume because sometimes it's really quiet.

problem after nougat update
I have motorola motog4 plus and facing tha same problem after nougat update . It is barely audible without earphone .

this is really annoying ! is there a solution? can we change the mixer_path to increase the volume of the earpiece ?

Hello.
I've gotten pretty frustrated with using my 3a for a while now regarding this specific issue, the call volume is just always super low and makes using the default phone app unbearable because I can hardly hear the other person, it is ALWAYS at max volume btw.
I just genuinely do not understand why the call volume is so low whilst the other volumes (media, alarms, etc) don't seem to have this issue and I can even get additional apps to boost the volume for those- but not the call volume.
It seems to have gotten worse just several days ago when some liquid hit the grill , so now instead of it sounding like someone is 3 feet away from the phone, it just sounds like 6 feet away. But even with this situation, it did NOTHING to my other volume settings.
Is there anything I can do to improve the loudness at all without depending on headphones? I would prefer having the phone on my ear , especially since calls on headphones literally echo whatever gets picked up on my microphone back to me I just honestly hate it.

Get a replacement phone. That's not normal. My call volume gets loud.

Is that really the only possible solution here...?
Everything else is fine...I just cannot find a way to make the call volume louder, just seems like Im stuck putting it on speakers or using headphones at the moment.
