Hello guys !
I bought Mi Note 10 like 2 - 3 weeks ago and I have an issue with WiFi. So often I have to turn off and turn on wifi to make it work but the connection is excellent so I don't get it. I have checked also at work and was similar but maybe because so many people was using same network. Another thing is can't install updates on google play and sometimes install the apps.
On my EE internet there is no issue at all.
I'm thinking that I have Note 10 with broken wifi and Will have replace it somehow ? Or maybe make full reset or whatever.
Does anybody have this issue as well and is there anything that I can do ?

Every 4 to 6 videos I watch consecutively I consistently get network problem. And have to touch to retry for 3 times or so.then the video works for about another 3-4 videos and the problem happen again.
Is this a normal behavior in android?
If not how can I solve it?
BTW I have galaxy note n7000 with a new ROM every month and my wife with stock gs3 and my kid with nexus the problem is on all 3 devices also I have the same problem at home WiFi and at work WiFi!

I have had that issue but certainly not that often. You could delete the youtube app and reinstall it and see if that helps.
Yes it is that often .
Also i might add that the play store suffer from a similar problem but it is not that annoying. I will try removing YouTube and reinstalling it.
Hello and thank you in advance guys , this forum is wonderful , I just started going deep into the world of android and found my self scratching my head at many occasions. I have great experience on PC's regarding software and hardware , too bad they are of no use when we talk mobile-phones. So , I got a TCL s950 some days ago , it had 4.2.2 android with English and Chinese language only, I decided to root it and flash a new ROM , I used your thread and got everything done-(the learning curve was a bit vertical for me , I nearly bricked the phone )- my phone boots and everything , it can use WIFI download apps and generally work fine .
Now the problem
Even though the phone can detect SIM instertion I cannot receive/make calls , send SMS , nothing. I can see no signal bars on the indicator whatever I do. I reset the phone back to stock ROM but the problem persists. Could it be a hardware failure? Modem issues? ROM issues? I really don't know... I've been working hours and hours on this , now the next step is to take it to a store and have them check it .
I would appreciate if there was a solution , I will wait patiently for anyone that can help. Good day to all.

I ordered a Honor 6 and its a nice phone but I have one Problem:
My WLAN disconnects as soon as data is transfered. My old RAZR doesnt have this issue, a nexus 5 of a friend of mine neither. I tried the school wlan and there it worked flawlessly. I already got a replacement but there i have the same issue.
I use connectify me on my notebook to make my notebook a hotspot. are there some wrong settings? The phone settings are wlan always on and battery saving wlan is deactivated. ty guys!
EDIT: i noticed that when i am on the homescreen the connection stays but as soon as i open a app( eg play store ) its lost.

It's got many bad things. It can mess up any Superior-Device (Like GalaxyS4 and Note 3), one of those bugs are
WiFi Instability, (MANY)problems and low range.

Hi, I own an h60-l12 and if I transfer some file from my phone to my nas over wifi I get very slow transfer speed (100kbps). Even when I watch some video from my nas with dlna I get some buffering and this not happens with my galaxy s2 an galaxy s4.
I have read the review of the honor 6 on anandtech and they also noted a poor wifi peformance. Any solution for this problem ? Maybe a custom kernel can help...
Did you find a solution for this? Same issue here..i can't even see most Wi-Fi networks, Wi-Fi reception is too weak. .

@nothingman1976 , I've recently upgraded to the latest lolipop 5.10.1 and still have very very weak wifi signals, almost can't use the wifi if not very close to the routers. It happens with 90% of the routers.
Did you find any solution please? Is it only us or is everyone accepting this ridiculous performance? I am considering returning the phone as I no-wifi is a showstopper for me...let me know

I don't have problem with wifi signals with the 3 or 4 router I used, but even with lollipop transfer speed from my nas is very slow.
I think is a limitation of the device.
I got the same problem, but my gf and my brother got the same phone with no problem on the same router... used to work just fine, but lately it has slowed down - is it possible that the problem is external? Maybe dust has penetrated my phone? I work with metal, they dont...

I have come across an error on my brand new Mate 9, where the wifi simply wont turn on.
Firstly, Yesterday i received the phone and the WIFI was seemingly working ok. Which would suggest it may now have arrived faulty.
But last night, i completed the setup process. Installed my apps as you do. Updated all existing apps and updated to the most recent android version in the update section.
After a while i noticed i was on Mobile Data and not WiFI was odd as i sit 2 meters from my Router.
I attempted to connect to wifi but the option wont even turn on. I have contacted my provided who are willing to have it looked at but i will be without a phone for up to 2 weeks. So im trying to trouble shoot myself.
Below are 2 videos of me trying to turn WiFI on. First one is trying through settings. 2nd one is after a factory reset indicating it may not be a settings issue.

I have a same trouble, when I got update via OTA on my L29C636. Updated to B181, wifi and bluetooth doesn't work.
I have try to flash the same firmware with dload method, and it can roll back with dload method (I've try to flash B156 firmware)
So I think that we can do is waiting for the next update (maybe on Oreo firmware)
