Samsung Galaxy A8 SM-A800F

Hi, bouught Galaxy A8 in Thailand for my Polish mum, there is no polish lang for her.
Is it any chance to flash it with some firmvare with polish language?
All I can find is asian firmvares http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-A800F
Poland = PL
or any other european one, should have polish lang...
Anyway around it please?

There is no polish.
Its asian firmware
Its got thai chinese indonesian malesian and such
No polish german czech slovakian slovenian norway
I need to flash it but seemes there is no eu firmvare

Does A800F have NFC or not? Some sources say it does, some that it doesn't. Can someone who has bought the phone in Europe confirm that there is a version with NFC, please?

If @matale0 You still have this problem and You are 100% sure that it is A800F - flash it by Odin with official software for UAE (CSC: XSG, current version A800FXXU1AOJ1) and after that do factory default.
I just bought A800F from UAE and with this firmware it has got polish lang (after flashing You will have only to download polish dictionary for spell checking and uninstall 2 apps).
PS: it's really pity that there is not much about A8 on XDA. It is great Samsung product, one of their best smartphones which is really good competitor to their Galaxy S and Note series (not joking!) Also pity that it is not on sale in Europe but I think that it is because price for older A7 is still high here thus A8 would have to be even more expensive which would be not competitive to prices for Galaxy S/Note.
I had both A7 and A8, Samsung did good job and A8 has got a lot of improvements over A7 :good:

Hey guys, been using the A8 for 3 weeks now and the experience has been nice. the only problems I have are that the battery discharges by 1% every 3mins when I'm using the phone moderately. also, there's occasional stuttering when sliding through home screen..I don't know what to do again

I got j7108 that costumer was trying to root it and it's now write me:
kernel is not seandroid enforcing
Custom binary blocked by FRP lock
I need firmware to try to flash and fix it.

The only sm-j7108 i could find was android 5.1.1 its a China version. And theres one from Hong Kong.. Only ones i saw for sm-j7108

Hey, I am having the same problem. Is your SM-J7108 HongKong version? You need to flash stock firmware to fix it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Internet.

I need Hk version stock firmware for 5.1.1 or frp wont let me flash other firmware. :crying:

There is now an official 6.01 marshmallow available. This is the Hong Kong firmware with Google services. It works perfectly on my China Mobile J7108 which was originally J7108ZMU1APG4

This is brand new this month. The previous Hong Kong firmware was android 5.1.1 even though the website said its 6.01. This one really is 6.01

Good question. I actually tried to ask several people but no one could answer me. Also I want to get OTA update for MY version and not flashing some other one. Can anyone explain on how to find out what is CSC for my unit meanwhile I am attaching Software info page with hope it'll be there somewhere. Also it is possible it's on the box label ?

Oh man it looks like after short research it's from UAE or some Middle Eastern Countries ..... for some reason I was hoping for like Germany or Netherlands or UK or Finland ....... not sand and oil guys. Oh well so anyway to find out when they're getting update ?

Can anyone confirm my findings about CSC is from UAE Please ? Cause if that so they had Nougat (official OTA one) for 935 (donno about 930) for few weeks now. Odd.

By the time Samsung releases Nougat for my s7 Google probably already released Android 8

It seems the only phone to get in future is pixel. Samsung is a pure Rubbish, and considering how expensive it is. I'm disappointed.

I'm in the UK, unlocked S7, csc xeu, still waiting. Unbelievable. My friend got Nougat on his HTC 10, but nothing for me...

There's a thread on Reddit where someone claims to have gotten a Twitter DM from a Samsung VP stating that the rollout was halted due to bugs with WiFi and with the camera but that it will resume again shortly. There has been a very small (15mb) patch released for the UAE Nougat for S7 Edge release so this would seem to gel. However this is the very definition of an unofficial channel, so take it with a grain of salt.

Still no update here. CSC is KSA (I got this phone while on a trip abroad).
Could it be that I don't live in the KSA is why I am not getting an update?

I was wondering if is there any problems if I update my S8 (G950F) with this one (region DBT Germany), because I forget at all which country I choose when I did the region update (in here the updates are just too slow to arrive, because the carrier).
I would like to know if it has some local / specific configurations or if is it totally unlocked, international, clean, no different boot screen, or something like that. My current software, as an European firmware, is so much fast receiving the updates, but I haven't received this one yet. Sorry about my English, and I hope u guys understand. Thanks!

Question Not getting OTA updates on my S22 ultra (SM-S908U)

Recently I bought an S22 ultra from unofficial source. I haven't got any updates from then. I think it's carrier locked. And it is not possible for me to use that carrier in my country. The phone's model number is SM-S908U/DS . In the software information page the whole model number is shown as SM-S908UZKATT. I want to update my device. How should I do it? I heard odin can be used to manually update my phone. But I don't know how to do it. Also I don't know where will I get official firmwares. Please help me ASAP.

You might want to consider sideloading the latest firmware update.
But before that, you must
1. Find your Model name & CSC Code using Phone INFO ★SAM★ 3.8.5 or just go to about phone
2. Download your firmware using Frija
3. Flash the latest firmware using SamFw Tool

I went to the Software information page in the About Phone settings and found out this...

After this I thought my CSC will either be GCF or XAA, then I head over to frija and typed my model number SM-S908U and the CSC code which is GCF and then clicked on check update. It showed
then I thought the CSC might be XAA. So I typed XAA and clicked Check Update. It showed
am I doing it the right way? or do I need to search using my whole model number? (which is SM-S908UZKATT.)

Add "1" on the end of your model name. Your CSC is "XAA"

There are 2 Models for the US: The "U" which is carrier locked & the "U1" which is Carrier Unlocked. Your device as per the CSC belongs to the U1 model.

I mean you already tried it with SM-S908U and not SM-S908U1 and did not get any result.
