This is CM10 Alpha for the Nexus 7. There might be bugs but everything should be working.
The is a build of CM10 that I compiled and thought I would share. It has pulls from gerrit in it. This is kind of like a Nightly build but with more experimental stuff in it.
Pulls from gerrit and other modifications:
enable multi-user support
Secret Franco sauce
CallNotifier: Ring in PHONE_INCOMING_RING only if it has already rang once.
LockscreenShortcuts : Minor code cleanup
Implemented Linaro. Full -03 with some bionic patches. Everything should work.
Changes in the 10/3 build:
tuna: add cpu boost hint
Settings: Add setting in security for sms message rate alerts
GNexusParts improvements
A few other minor things.

Thank you 16gb. Time for a nandroid & flash. Thanks for the work.
I'll check this out tomorrow!

Still the phone hybrid. CM code is still at a minimal and there doesn't appear to be too many differences between this and stock yet. Should hopefully be more added as compatible code gets merged and the incompatible code gets modified

Cant wait to flash this, thank you in advance
Would love for Flash to work in the ICS browser like it does in JR4.
So any real difference between this and stock, does it just a
have a couple of add on and does everything work. Thanks

Seems much faster and smoother, battery seems really good too. And the start of the CM goodies. Really nice, going to use this as a daily for now.

Is there any work around to get ROM Manager to work on the HTC One X?
Whenever I try using the application it tells me that I must install "ClockworkMod recovery" and It appears to be unavailable for the HTC One X currently. Am I just doing something wrong here?
Yeaaaaa. Everything you just mentioned is wrong. Do not use rom manager, or CWM. You'll brick as it IS NOT supported for our phone.
That is, if you have a branded dual core version with LTE.

Thank you for the confirmation.
Is there a similar program I can use that will work with the HTC One X?
Why not just flash thru recovery?
If you're running the CM10 ROM, I'm pretty sure there's a nifty updater app available from play store. It basically checks your current version and only downloads the parts needed for the next nightly you want to install, which saves doing a full download and flash. But like I said that's only for CM10 users.

Are you rooted and unlocked? The OP wasn't clear of your current standing. Download goo manager and install twrp
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
Rom manager only ever worked well with CM roms. But even then it's better to use twrp. Using it on stock based roms is asking trouble.

Most people just flash through recovery with twrp (which has a nice touch screen interface btw). I've heard that the highest supported version for the HOX is 2.3.1.0, so just make sure the version you install is supported.

Ya I thought that might happen haha. It was just a bit of information, ROM manager was used by some to flash updates etc so I thought it might be vaguely relevant.

Why do people like Rom manager its no more work than usual and its usually outdated
Dirty rom comes with flash Gui it allows you to atleast switch them in the android os vs recovery?

Its remnants from a year or two ago. It was a must have app for rooted phones and was quite awesome in its day. So people upgrading from phones after a 2 year ownership, its just figured that they need it like before.

Here are the links to the official CM beta installer apk and windows .msi application. Both halves are needed. Enjoy. Before long it will cost you to run CM.

And it won't be long before Cyanogenmod has agreements with third parties adding unnecessary bloatware to their OS.
You know it. And no more nightly train either, only stables. All kinds of devs that maintained devices and contributed are gonna be ass out while the few line their pockets. This is the way our world works. Get a piece and f&$! the rest.

Ok, well they have limited support at the moment. Read their G+ feed. I dont use stock cm, i use aokp. I just posted the files. Support is CM's problem.

The files no longer work. Says a newer version is available and to got to the beta site to get it. Needs password.

CM 12.1 compiled from source with Uber Toolchain 4.8. Any issues that are in official CM are present here. I was looking for an updated LP rom, and most have switched to MM, so I did this and learned how to build in the process.
I will try to update every weekend. You should know how to install a ROM, i am not a developer nor can I include any suggestions or fixes.

Well, as far as I understood the goal is not to build more efficiently, i.e. that the development chain runs better on the developer's computer, but to build better code. This means that the built code is supposed to run faster on the target system, i.e. on the Android device.
I think this article http://www.xda-developers.com/interview-with-developers-of-sabermod-hyper-toolchains/ nicely explains why people use different toolchains.

OK, so in fewer words:
NOT: build code efficiently
BUT: build efficient code

Of course i know, that xposed isn't official released for android 8 yet. And a 7.1 rom will never exist in the future for pixel 2, i think. Is there any other possibility I forgot? Does anyone know an unofficial xposed for android 8 build?
Please, no discussion why xposed must be used at all
We just have to wait like we did for nougat
