GameVice (Or Any other Gamepad) Gamepad Controller for OnePlus 7 Pro. - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello to everyone, I purchased the OnePlus 7 Pro several months back. I really love this device and to me it's the best phone in the market even in 2020. However, I see all these other gaming phones with better gamepad accessories. One Gamepad in particular is the GameVice. To make this short, I would like to know if anyone tried the Gamevice gamepad that's ment for the Samsung S10 and Note 10 , and Pixel 4 and 4 XL, work on the OnePlus 7 Pro. I have a feeling it'll fit, because I've seen videos of the Gamevice ment for the Pixel 3 & 3XL work on the OnePlus 6 & 6T. I'm hoping someone can help me with this delema. Hence, these companies SHOULD add OnePlus to the Gamepad accessory line up. Simply because there great contenders, hand down. Thanks in advance. Bless to everyone.

Hello,
maybe it is not same as you request but I use IPEGA PG-9025 to play xbox games on my OP7 Pro. I use new streaming app and it works pretty well since it has all xbox buttons. I am impressed by battery in this gamepad it is very efficient. It could have little better grip(could be little longer) but you get used to very fast. I got it from aliexpress few years ago but it still does the job.
Best Regards.

[Q] Pro 7 replacement

Hi all,
This is acctually my third Pro 7, I really love this phone.
Has anyone tought, what could be next successor of Pro 7/WiMo Mango,
withe same formfactor.
Regards
I too love my 7 Pro. But really think it should have a bigger screen! I nearly exchanged it for a HD7 the other week.
But until another Windows Phone comes out with a faster CPU, bigger screen and landscape keyboard I will probably keep my good old 7 Pro

I was actually wondering the same thing about a wk ago...
All my research showed nothing I couldnt even find a whisper. Now that I have internet sharing I can go a year without a new phone if need be.
If you find anything though post it here so we can drool
well nothing yet...
I really hope that nokia surprises us
Yup same here. Bigger screen would be nice... AND S-AMOLED .. But other than that, really great piece of hardware... Really well built, firm... Good design, slim etc... All and all, a really great device, best I ever had. I think I will be using this also for a long time. Thats why I updated the memory to 32gb.
Nokia will be coming out with a device for us, but when I dont know... I do know that at least partly it has to do with the OS not fully supporting landscape. Which of course can feel little weird for someone when using the hw kb, but for me it does not matter. Landscape works where it needs.
Off topic, but does anyone else find the keyboard a bit clunky to use?
I came from a Touch Pro 2 and I sometimes feel I've been downgraded(dont get me wrong, I definitely dont miss having to soft reset the phone every day). I could easily churn out a paragraph without having to look; but after nearly a year of acclimating to the handset, I still miss a stroke every other word
Not really. You will get used to this one... Unless you have HUGE fingers
I actually love this phone. but I do not have a free navigation application can use.
Never mind.
Heard on the rumour mill (can't remember where, so sorry, no links) that Acer were developing an Apollo (WP8) device with HKB.....

Hey, guys, I love this form factor - horizontal slider with QWERTY keyboard and tilting screen. But it has become rare these days. Unfortunately, the majority of brainwashed crowds out there want thin phones without keyboards.
I am looking for a new phone with the same form factor. With Android or WP.
Recently, HTC made an announcement that they will not release any more phones with keyboard. That's horrible
Motorola Droid 4 is good but it is not sold in Europe
So I continue looking around...
just bought my 4th 7 Pro, at least now there is AMEX insurance on it.
keeping it locked cabinet until this one dies
anyone knows good full body protective skin for 7 Pro?

Game controllers.

Hey, has anyone tried any of the Bluetooth game pads with this phone, obviously they're going to work, but I mean specifically the pads that hold the phone like the ipega ones.
Has anyone actually got one of these and can say how well they fit the note 9?

That's actually the one I was most interested in as it would hold the smaller of my tablets as well. I've read good reviews about it, but bad ones too, you never know what to believe with stuff like that.
I hope it works well for you, but let me know how it is once you receive it ?
Any updates?

Im waiting for the updated Gamevice to works with the Note 9. Right now it supports all Samsung phones except the Note 9 which IDK why.
I might sell it and get the ROG Phone.

I bought this one in 2017 and it works great on my SM-P580 (Android 7.1) Note 5 (Android 7.1), Note 9 SM-N960U1 (Android 9). I can't vouch for other controllers by that company though.
I currently have the FlyDigi Stinger (Left / Right) and the worth great, specially for shooters

Google Pixel Slate. Possible Replacement?

Have any Samsung NotePro 12 (Any Iteration) users bought, played, used, and/or tried the newest possible NotePro replacement moniker'd "Google Pixel Slate"?
https://store.google.com/us/product/pixel_slate
It appears that it may be the first possible replacement for our forgotten powerhouse tablet...
...At least, a replacement that doesn't have a piece of fruit tramp stamped on its backside...
...Although, that wasn't exactly a true option for most of us...
...What say you?
I don't see any pen there. Gotta have a pen.

I am still deeply impressed with the Samsung 12.2 Pro (P900 wifi) I have. Got it used a few years back for 300 bucks. Grabbed a used Logitech tablet and keyboard for it. Though I have an old but good Macbook pro 2010, a Dell Latitude 2011, a Lenovo T420S, and a few other odds and ends, for sheer using pleasure when surfing or even editing the Samsung wins.
But you are right. If I had a bit more money to play with, this baby does look like a worthy successor. Maybe in a few years when the shine wears off a bit and the price goes down.... that's how I roll.

Since my tablet met its horrible, but accidental, end I've been tabletless and searching for a new new or an new old tablet. I still have not figured out what to do. Buy the Google Slate or find a used 12.2. They can be had for about $200 locally. Humm... I need to find a place that has a demo. Any Google stores in Kansas? ?
That's rhetorical, I'll search...
Thank you for the input tho. I do still have the same Logitech keyboard/cover as you perchanced. So that might end up as a factor.
I have the i7 version and it's awesome.
Any other feedback, especially on note taking? @acadoid: do you know if LectureNotes works on it?
Found this feedback on LectureNotes on Pixel Slate: https://support.google.com/pixelslate/thread/869548?hl=en ; quoting: "LectureNotes run as slow as molasses to be unusable." As far as I understand, to make things nice and smooth on the Slate, the app has to use a different, low-level API. @acadoid, any plans to support the Slate?

Vice Style Gamepad

Hi guys,
Wondering if any one had any suggestions for a compact but solid and reliable gamepad (vice-style) that fits and works well with this phone.
I had a Razer Phone 2 with the Razer Junglecat before this phone and I am used to this quality build - if anyone has ideas would be appreciated.
thanks
I am waiting for the razer kishi to be released : https://www.razer.com/eu-en/gaming-controllers/razer-kishi
It's build in collaboration with the guys from gamevice.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.th...like-mobile-game-controller-gamepad-junglecat
What type of gaming do you do on your phone?
---------- Post added at 11:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:24 PM ----------
Looking at stadia is it any good? Would be good to pair with a game pad like that
This razer kishi is built especially for cloud gaming thanks to its zero latency USB-c connection to the phone.
No Bluetooth required.
Yeah....well the whole reason I wrote this thread is because I am sick and tired of waiting for the Razer damn Kishi to come out....was announced ages ago ...been waiting and waiting too long
I'm also impatiently waiting.
The Glap controller though bulky could probably do the trick. https://www.samsung.com/uk/mobile-accessories/glap-gamepad/

this looks very good!!
Yes it doesnt look that portable (especially as i am used to the jungle cat which took up less space than my wallet!!)
However if i was to get something this big i am a bit fussy with the right analogue stick i prefer it below the buttons just like the Xbox style...this is what i am used to.
I already have one that looks very similar to this as well - the IPEGA PG-9023...it was also a lot cheaper!!
Would the Samsung have much better build quality and lag-free connection?
Also a question - is the Razer Kishi going to be wired only or will there be a Bluetooth option?
I have never used any Ipega products but I have heard that the controllers suffer from analog stick dead zones which are not present in the Glap.
According to the Verge's article, the kishi has no built-in battery. It will use the phones power so it's very unlikely that it will have Bluetooth.
Been looking at reviews on Youtube - the one below looks like a pretty good bet - he says the Coolpad Legacy fits in perfectly and Oneplus 8 Pro has pretty close dimensions to that

Yes you are right they do. the difference between my junglecat and the ipega is so noticable. the junglecat is so responsive......i also have a Moga Hero Power which i think is excellent - however this has now become a legacy product and you cant even get the app on the play store anymore and you need it to connect the game pad - i have to download the apk manually to get it paired...but it is very good!
If the junglecat doesnt have a built in battery then forget it
I've been using the ipega extendible for a while now. I have the Moga pro, out of the two of them i prefer the ipega, plus it was only £20 Vs £49.99
That razer device looks like it's going to fall apart. The ipega is solid, it can hold an iPad.

which razer device are you referring to? I have the junglecat and can confirm it is solid as a rock, zero latency, and the button are perfect.

The one listed. Buttons look good but the middle section doesn't. The ipega is built like a tank.
Latency is extremely low.
I've used a tonne of pads and that's the best one up until now.

First off, calm down ok? Theres no need to act the way you are, alright?
Secondly the one I was referring to was the kishi, it looks like it's going to have problems, the construction of the middle isn't great.
3rd, I've got the ipega extendible, not sure if you've had this one but I do, there are no problems with input lag, depending on how you've set it up, the analogues can be seen as digital, I haven't set mine up like that, no problems with deadzones, I've finished tonnes of games using it
Thats my input, you asked for a vice like controller..is there any need to bash a suggestion? Or talk the way you are? Several ?????? It's childish, you didn't mention what controllers you'd used besides one.
Perhaps you could be clearer when you articulate yourself during thread creation, if you don't like a suggestion then say so, no need to bash it, try to be polite
I'm pretty calm mate ...all good
Yeah i got the extendible as well... joysticks are so far off its a killer for me. All depends on the quality you're used to i guess....IMO u get what u pay for in general and thats why Ipega stuff is so cheap

Good to know you have no issues with your Ipega. That being said, Razer is a gaming company and they have an awesome track record when it comes to some of the best build quality out there.
I use cloud gaming services quite a lot and having the lowest latency means plugging in my computer to a gigabit Ethernet port and using a wired xbox controller.
If you want the best possible experience on android the same applies here, a physical USB-C connection to the phone will always be better than Bluetooth IMO. When cloud gaming, Bluetooth adds an extra layer of latency; with time this will get better but for now that's how it is.
I guess its up to the buyer to determine if the price of the Kishi is worth it

I agree I game on PC, I wouldn't dream of partying using wireless.
That being said I've had no issues with the ipega, perhaps it's unit based, even the 1+8pro has differences between units, green tint, touch lag, camera flares.
If the razer device works for you then stick with that.
If it suits your needs the the price is collateral

Black Shark 5 gamepad

Hello. Just got an BS5, After somes play tests, i Come to the conclusion than i need a gamepad for optimising some games.
But i cant not find any good compatible products, the official Brand seem to have stopped this kind of accessories some years ago with older models.
Btw the bs5 is to fat to stay safe with the "famous" Razer kishi v2 (already tested it)
If someone have a good Idea im all hear
Thanks you all!
