PX5 or PX6 for Ford Focus MK2 (2005) - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Good morning guys, as per the title I would like to ask you on which model/brand I should orient myself for a Radio PX5 or PX6 preferably with mask.
Also, I would like to know which of the 2 CPUs is the best.
Thank you all!
Ps. I hope I've written in the right section

Go for px6, it a much faster and better CPU. Look out to choose it with 4gb of RAM and dsp. Also if possible try to buy dasaita (hot audio, max6 etc are the same) as those are supported the most in these forums

Excellent, thank you very much! And how are the winston? Are they supported?

Saying "supported" isn't quite right, there is collective knowledge of the HA units being reasonable as are the GS units. Modified ROMs exist for MTCD/E as does modified MCU, support is a completely separate issue, usually provided by the headunit reseller.

I understand, how are Xtrons and Joying like brands?
Do you notice the difference in everyday use between a PX6 and a PX5? (but also with a MTK or an Intel?)

The wiki covers this question and previously answered alot before; Xtrons and Joying are resellers selling various manufacturer/factory products, so saying I have an Xtrons unit or comparing Xtrons vs Joying means little.
Same for PX5 and PX6, but since you've posted in the MTCD forum, would assume you are discussing MTCx units (some of which are resold by Xtrons and - less of now - by Joying) and not other types that also have PX5/6, Intel and various other processors.

XDA II, BT GPS, Carkit, Headset: Suggestions?

Hey all, I'm posting this here in hopes that you'll be able to provide me some quick opinions or perhaps redirect me to an article/site more specific to my questions subject matter.
Specifically I just placed my order for an XDA II. I've been researching off and on for a few weeks now, reading forum posts and balancing the early adopter risks with the community workarounds etc. and decided to bite the bullet. As this is my first convergence device and my initiation into the world of bluetooth I'm throwing out a line for opinions, suggestions from the people who actually use the stuff daily.
Short Version
--------------------------
BT Headset: Looking at Jabra 200/250 or HBH-65. Which works best in slightly noisy environment?
BT GPS: Is there a recommended software/hardware bundle recommended for XDA II? (Looking now at Mapopolis/TomTom kits and I live in the western United States).
BT Carkit: Any alternatives to the old XDA carkit? Any compatability headaches using it with either of the above?
General: Any first-timer FAQ, optimization articles etc. that I should review for getting the most out of my XDA II or at least making it more stable etc.? I've found bits and pieces of info scattered about, but a single source would be much appreciated.
*I've been following the thread re: Towas fix and plan on implementing it right away
Long Winded Version
-----------------------------------------------
As mentioned in my title I'd like to have all of those items listed and naturally living together happily. Would there be any pitfalls to watch out for? I'm guessing I'd switch to a different profile when using the carkit vs. the bt headset when I'm in the car but not sure about if there are things I need to plan ahead for for using the carkit and gps simultaneously.
After reading forums/comments I've narrowed down the headset choices to the Jabra BT200 (maybe 250 if I'm feeling patient) or the HBH-65. Does one of these work better than the other in less than optimal conditions (i.e. outside with slight breeze/wind or inside with background noise in a server lab etc.)? Any other models I should look at?
Carkit. So far it looks like the original XDA carkit is the primary choice, any other compatible options I should consider?
And finally, is there a recommended GPS bundle I should look for (keeping in mind that I'll be planning on pairing it with an XDA carkit most probably.)? So far Mapopolis and TomTom seem good, although in most posts it's unclear if people are happy with the software itself or with their BT GPS unit as well as the software. There any sites with comparison articles out there that I've missed?
Sorry for the lengthy post, just trying to avoid the need to clarify in follow up posts as much as possible.

MSM6250A - manufacturers who use this chipset

Is there a list of manufacturers who use the MSM6250A chipset?
I am looking, especially, for any smaller manufacturers who may be actively manufacturing using this chipset.

Add Parking Sensor/Radar to Android Head Unit

Possible to integrate an aftermarket parking sensor system to the head unit to work in tandem with backup camera?
Is there a kit that integrates into these android head units instead of it being a standalone system?
Edit: seems to be possible from this video showing it in action http://youtu.be/Rj5-LVPQT7E
Thanks

GS models have this ability, i have never seen one of the others have it. You can buy the sensor from their site
Im not sure you will find a model specific unit. Have you seen the parking radar/ultrasonic units that mix the video from the reversing camera and overlaying the distance from the radar?
E.g. http://s.aliexpress.com/3eMVnUba
Feed existing reversing camera video to this unit and output video of this unit to your android head unit. Ive done just this.
my 6.2" old gs had this. It was an option to buy a sensor, but it was just a single sensor not an array. I guess it would stop you from backing over a dump truck. I have also had kdl kgl and jy units. None of them have had a plug for a sensor.

It looks like this from the link in the comments:

That first link looks exactly like what I'm looking for. However, it's out of stock and $45 seems a bit steep compared to the other parking sensor add on kits.
Now that there are examples, have you thought about searching on aliexpress for a unit that meets your needs and price expectations? Did you realise these are generic units, not specific to to your head unit and member have provided the solution?

Yes I've been doing some searching on my own through eBay and aliexpress/alibaba. Have you considered that I'm still looking in my limited free time and have not yet come to a decision?
Yes I understand that these are generic units as evident by their titles which include the word UNIVERSAL and with specific instructions that they can be CONNECTED TO ANY MONITOR. Have you tried clicking on the links to see the descriptive title?
Yes I understand that a solution has been provided to me by another member which I QUOTED AND REPLIED to. What's your point of telling me that someone has provided a solution here when I've already acknowledged and replied to said person?
Are you satisfied now? Let's end this conversation between us here as it doesn't contribute to the thread at all. Maybe next time rephrase your comments to not sound as condescending.

Well, if its any consolation, I found your input quite helpful. Exactly what I was looking for.

I know that XTRONS have forums but I would like know experience from users about this seller and units.
Thanks anticipated to all for read and help me to decide to buy one of this units.
Cheers!!!
Welcome to the forum @JaPeMo! I believe you may receive better feedback if you had posted this in the MTCD Q/A section since the units you are inquiring about are MTCD/E not MTCB units. Either way, i like my GS PX5 unit sold by Xtrons.

Done! :good:
Any comment about this unit users or knowns? :fingers-crossed:
Updated with MCU versions
I've just got the Android 6 Version from Dasaita. This is the new Android 8.0 Version
Much better then the Xtrons which I got before the Dasaita Device. Also real great support via email or XDA from Dasaita. The also pushing often updates. I recommend this Device. Its also not that expensive.

Ah okay. Yeah I just payed 80 bucks for the taxes. But thats ok, it is a great Device.
Neither, they are both resellers, what matters is the factory (e.g.XRC/GS/HA/JY), therefore discussing models is usually meaningless. Good to see the Manufacturer codes as this identifies the unit.
Suggest MTCD GS over little known XRC. GS provides regular updates, GS is reference hardware sold by multiple resellers and has factory OTG connector for best recovery. HA is a variant of GS and another good option.
In summary, HA or GS, avoid XRC.

Question I need help to mod geely monjaroo also callled xingue l

Dears I need your help to mod the head unit am not able to know even what android its have is there is any codes can we use ??
No one here has a crystall ball to know what you unit is, from the hundreds of made up models and brands, that could be different units even from the same seller.
What does the seller say and what have you read from the forums
