Permissions keep reversing back - Samsung Galaxy S10e Questions & Answers

Hi everyone. I'm new here but have been using this site for a couple of years learning a little bit. I'm also new to modifying phones and related activities. Just experimenting. But here is my question.
I wanted to change the permissions of multiple apps and I know certain apps permissions cant be changed but quite a few of the ones that I was able to change keep changing back on their own. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it. Thank you in advance.
I'm using Galaxy S10e on tmobile android 10.

[Q] Turn Phone into Tablet?

Hello All,
I'm new to the forums and have Just recently purchased my friend's old android phone. I'm making some minor adjustments to try and Hide the Phone related functions/apps as much as possible.
This got me thinking. How easy would it be to modify an existing ROM to remove the Phone stuff?
Could I remove apps like "TelephonyProvider.apk" and such... with out Breaking the OS? They seems pretty embedded... What would the "Talk" button do if no Telephony app was installed.
these are all just introductory questions, more for thought than implementation...
Try renaming that file, see what happens. You can always rename it back again.

[Q] Swype Keyboard Input

Hi, I'm new to the Android modding world, I picked up on the stuff pretty quickly tho, already got rooted and using optimusXrom. Although ive run into a little problem.
His rom was very clean and large group of system apps were taken out, I went and registered for the Swype beta and got the app installed, yet it still uses that plain android keyboard layout. I made sure it was turned on and rebooted incase that was necessary. What is missing or what needs to be turned on to allow it to work?
I know I should probably ask on his thread but again I'm new and don't have the access yet.
I did some more searching around for a possible problem, so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Full beta instead and now it works. Thanks anyways to anyone who read.

Its not rooted, but I still want to change ALL the sounds...

Greetings!
About 10 years ago, I left the smartphone world.
Recently, with the retirement of everyone's CDMA equipment, I've been all but forced to start using a smartphone again (and I'm glad I did). I can see things have become a great deal more complicated than what they used to be...
I had unlocked my HTC Touch Pro and was able to get into and change anything there, because I had found an abundance of resources on this site for editing registry entries to change icons, sounds, and all sorts of other things I wanted to customize. That was a WIndows phone, of course, which appears to be nothing like Android's system.
But now I'm using an A71 5G (A716U), and though I've been able to find a lot of guidance in making the phone my own (much of it from here), I've not found any fruitful information about how to change those annoying system sounds outside of rooting or bootloader unlocking, neither of which I'll be doing. Screen taps, charge-start notifier, default notifications....don't like any of'em.
So, with all that, this is my question: Is there any way that some genius here might know of to customize any and every internal system audio file without rooting or using the bootloader unlock? I've spent a good deal of time over the last 4 weeks trying to find a method to make this happen, but every resource eventually comes down to having to root the phone.
...Along the same lines, I would also (of course) absolutely love to replace the entirety of the startup and shutdown splashes and sounds....
Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer!

Need my samsung a115u rooted!

Hey there, my name is Tim. I'm a complete novice to the idea of changing things and customizing my samsung a115u. I was wondering if someone could remotely do the rooting process for me or give exact list of apps or app ect to use and complete step by step instructions. The phone has been having major issues with system apps and my 3rd party apps crashing. The phone gets really hot and lags sometimes to the point I have to force restart it. I really would like someone else to be able to root this and then I just do some small personal modifications. This has been a nuisance for some time now. Also I want to change the immigration, baseband and all id's of the phone if possible? Thank you for any help or recommendations.
