Is there anyone here who already root miui 11 ?
No man. I am fed up and planning to sell Redmi 6 because it is not getting rooted.
No one can install the Official TWRP on Redmi 6. Cant boot into TWRP after installing TWRP properly. Phone starts normally.
any solution on this?

if your phone starts up normally it's better to skip uploading anything because there is a high probability of hard brick. At forum "4pda" they write that Redmi 6 is not intended for experiments!

Hi, i have a problem with twrp. Lately i bought a Redmi Note 6 Pro, i waited the normal 15 days to unlock the bootloader, then I unlocked it and i flashed twrp, root, etc... The problem is that after the first update i made (MIUI 10 stable update) i lost root (which i think it's normal) and the twrp. TWRP recovery got overwritten by the default xiaomi recovery. How can i fix this? Because it's impossible to install twrp back after every update, i would have to format it evey time because of the locked internal storage! I'll leave some info below.
Ah and btw i tryed again yesterday with a new update and it happened again, so it wasn't just a one-time thing.
Phone: Redmi Note 6 Pro 4+64
MIUI version: MIUI Global 10.2 | Stable | 10.2.2.0(OEKMIXM) last version, i updated yesterday
TWRP used: unofficial twrp, the official one isn't out yet for my device. If it's needed i can send the iso or something
Used this recovery

Does it work for you or you lose it as well after update? Thank you anyway
Will this twrp work for latest version??
I lost root and TWRP after updating too.
I heard that everytime you update your phone, it replaces the TWRP and disable root. That's one of the reasons I will wait more before root my phone.
Guys i'm working hard to find a solution. If i find it i'll tell you. Please do the same if you find something
I think you'll need to do everything again (install TWRP and root).

The bad part isn't re-installing twrp or root. It's that every time you do that you MUST format the data because insthead you wouldn't have access to internal storage from twrp, and that makes it impossible to flash anything

That's indeed the worst part. Better to wait for a recovery that can decrypt internal storage permanently.

After flashing stock miui you have to flash disable vm cause the stock miui will replace the recovery with the stock one!
You all should learn about these topics more or stop experimenting with half knowledge.
When you are installing/ flashing any full MIUI ROM, you are also flashing the stock recovery that comes with MIUI. So it's natural that TWRP will get replaced.
So after flashing a new ROM, always flash TWRP and Lazyflasher too.
Always install/ flash a new ROM via TWRP and not through the System Updater app.
Hope this helped.
Flash TWRP then flash this : https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/universal-dm-verity-forceencrypt-t3817389
for euopean country you should use EU rom, weekly OTA update and flashed by TWRP automatically,
only Magisk must be flashed again for root,
maybe for chinese developer rom it is the same procedure ?
Lost root

Hi Experts,
I have Redmi note 7 pro.I experienced the earlier update 10.3.10 draining my battery too fast. Then I received 10.0.3.12 I think its al right but 10.0.3.7 was best battery backup. So i decided to go back for same
. I tried with service center they failed to downgrade. They said its impossible to downgrade it will brick my device. My mi account have boot loader unlocked with another device redmi 3s prime. I logged in with same account. Will it unlock my note 7 pro bootloader?or is it safe to downgrade? I heard about anti-rollback feature.what should I do?
Its my 1st xda post hope get reply
You can downgrade by unlocking bootloader & then download platform tools (google & download) & extract it to c drive & then extract fastboot rom into same folder & then put your phone in fastboot mode & run the file named flashall.bat & you will be able to downgrade

To downgrade u would first need to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP, clear all the partitions (virtually making sure that only thing left on the phone is recovery) and then flash the respective Recovery ROM.
Use Peter's TWRP for this.
please make a video

Hi,
I have Redmi Note 7 Pro with 128GB ROM. I have installed MIUI Stable (10.3.10.0) from xiaomi.eu.
Today the update has show up. So I have downloaded it, and now it rebooted to TWRP. But it is starting forever (don't know if it ends or it hanged).
Any suggestions?

you may have to Wipe with stock recovery and reflash TWRP again
TWRP cannot boot first time without a full wipe on data partition
Hey guys i have an issue,
i was running Pixel Experience 10 but on MIUI 10, i couldn't update the last one so i thought to get back to stock rom, update to miui 11 and then get back to my Pixel rom. I DID A F*CKING MISTAKE. I installed the Miui 11 Update through TWRP without restoring the stock miui 10 rom. It worked but i had lost my Pixel rom ( i have a backup), ok then i installed TWRP at the MIUI 11 because recovery mode got me at Xiaomi Recovery for some reason. Inside the TWRP i flashed Disabled forc Encryption, but it didnt flash the Magisk, i reboot to system and after 100 bootloops i tried to go back to recovery mode, it boot at TWRP but since then, the TOUCHSCREEN DOESN'T WORK.. I used xiaomi mi flash tool to return to stock rom, it did, locked the bootloader etc...the touchscreen still doesn't work though... I can connect a mouse with OTG Type-C and i can do anything you tell me in order to fix it.. i have already update to MIUI 11, unlock the bootloader, installed TWRP and have Root. Has anyone any idea or a solution to try?
Thanks everyone in advance.

did you find a solution, I have the same problem. Thanks
I just bought a new Redmi 9a with hopes to root this device. But after much time and effort in attempting to root it. I was just stuck with a boot loop. I did all the necessary requirement in order to root. Unlocked Bootloader (waited 7 days) Downloaded and Installed Updated Drivers..etc
I was successful in almost all steps of the rooting process until the one where im supposed to enter the twrp recovery mode. Is there a solution to this? or is because the twrp file is unofficial? Is there no chance to root this model of phone just yet?

There is actually no reason to install TWRP because nothing seems to be working after a flash, like Magisk.
I rooted mine by flashing boot.img from Tigrouzen, you can find his work in dev section. The only thing you have to do is to play with ADB commands, it should take 5 minutes at most.
Important point : I'm on MIUI 12. I really dont know if it work on the newest update.
To finish, like everytime, sorry for my scoolish English.
