OTA Update 1.132.405.6

Just checked my system update and there is a new one available.
System Upgrade 1.132.405.6 (18.1MB)
-Update: Improve screen control and Youtube client performance connection.
I'm guessing the youtube part is perhaps a solution to the crash error in the latest youtube update when you try to go back from landscape mode viewing. Screen control improvement possibly a Proximity Sensor fix?
Yet to download it but will try tonight on WiFi and update on what else seems to have changed.

just checked my had and found same update,,,here goes hope it fixes things and dont break anything (battery should last 5 days with new update )

I can confirm this fixes the Youtube bug! Don,t have the prox. sensor issue, so can't check this!

got it here and it fixes youtube, one thing you have to say about HTC is that they sort out software issues pretty quick .The phones been out about what 10/14 days and 2 updates already , while some say there should not be faults, i look at it that at least they get their finger out and sort them

I like this "bug solving speed" too, compared to 5 months of solving 2.1 bugs in case of Motorola Milestone (which was extremly annoying as one of the bugs was a random reboot bug).

Nice seeing some updates but the sync problems on Exchange 2010 are still the same. I cant use the phone without this feature.

VISIONary still working nicely. I guess we will see exactly what they mean by "SCREEN CONTROL" in the update as the days move on.

But 1.32.405.6 is missing there..

Lame old tmobile.. I get kicked from my data connection if I try to download the update.
And by kicked I mean lost all data for least 10th mins.

Me too, I thought it was my signal at first and restarted the phone twice, I'll wait until I get home and use the WiFi

Just out of interest are people doing hard resets of the phone after an update? I had to do it after updating when I first got the phone and it solved a lot of the problems I'd started getting since the update but it just seems like effort to do it each time without a decent whole phone backup and restore facility in place.

yes confirm the update did download and install normally....I don't have the prox snsr issue, but seems to fix the youtube bug....

Just Nov security patches ,and samsung music is removed. Feel a little bit smoother.

Anyone seeing battery issues after this latest update? I already used package diablerie pro to remove bloat and I am still seeing terrible battery life.

Usually takes a few days to settle down after an upgrade. Give it a little time and see how it goes.

Touch and performance issues with Verizon update G925VVRU4CPK2 Galaxy S6E 12/16/16
sometimes, as in for short periods throughout the day the phone detects touches as a jump from one letter to the next; consequently, not inputting the first character but the second. This impairs my typing, so I have to type significantly slower for it to understand I'm typing different letters. this also affects any touch movement and the phone's performance as it lags as well as misses certain touches. This only happened after this update on 12/16/16. Not only does did it affect my phone but my brother installed the update as well and his phone (same model) is experiencing the same issues. I had nova launcher as well which i uninstalled and I have deleted the cache multiple times, started the phone in safe mode and was not able to use the phone codes since Verizon blocked access to updating the touchscreen's firmware. It is not a constant issue but it happens at least a couple times as day which is extremely annoying when trying to type or move around.
If anyone has encountered a similar problem or has a possible solution I would greatly appreciate any help

Very slow wifi dl speeds

I'm running the latest stock 9.0.1 and my wifi has been terrible - i'm not sure if this is since I got the phone or if it's just since i updated to Android 9 as I only noticed this issue when I started using certain apps. I checked my speedtest logs and it looks like I was getting normal download speeds prior to updating to Android 9 so not sure if there's a way to roll back to the previous version.
Basically on all my other devices I'm getting download speeds of just under 200Mbs and upload of around 150Mbps. But on the OP6 I'm getting download speeds of <5Mbps. Note this is on 5GHz. The situation is improved on 2.4GHz but barely - 20Mbps. Upload speeds on both are fine and consistent with my other devices. I don't know if this is speed related but a load of apps aren't working properly as a reason and consistently just show a circle reload logo rather than loading what it should. It also seems to be struggling to download any apps from the Play store while on wifi (or sometimes it does but there's a huge delay).
Any ideas? I've already wiped cache, rebooted my phone, rebooted my router, reset network settings, etc. Unfortunately OP tech support hasn't been particularly helpful so far.

Ended up having to rollback to 8.1 which fixed it. Quite annoying though. Hope it's something rectified in future updates.

Try updating to beta 6. Might help your issue for 9.0. It should be available in your OTA in settings.

I spoke too soon. Speeds have gone back to a dribble. only way I can get them normal is to continuously restart which isn't practical. I'm having issues downloading apps on wifi on the playstore too. I might have to just send it off to OP as I think it may be a hardware issue.

Yeah they have been pretty unhelpful so far. i'm starting to regret buying this phone to be honest. I never had this many issues with my old Sony Z3.
Worst comes to worst I'll root and put a custom ROM on it to see if it fixes anything.

You could. If you like stock oos, just give xXxnolimits a try. It's pretty solid. Make sure to use bluespark twrp if you try because normal TWRP doesn't support encryption in 9.0.

Can say Oneplus 6 on 9.4 OOS I have downloads of between 2-4 MBs on Tresk Mod 72-80 MBs!

OOS 11.0.2.1 is there!

I've just updated my device and so far i am actually happy this time. I personally had serious issues whith 11.0.1.1 but it seems fixed now... My device runs smooth and finally it does not heat up by just being on the launcher.
Let us know if u experience still issues!

Did you do an incremental update or the full OTA? Also, did you wipe the cache after?
I had an extremely bad experience on 11.0.1.1 so I'm very skeptical about upgrading from 10.3.8 now

I have issue with Whatsapp, its not running in background .. I use WhatsApp web whole day and everytime after 15-20 mins I have to reopen WhatsApp to get connected to web.
I tried changing Battery setting to Dont Optimize for WhatsApp .. still problem persist ..
Im on latest 11.0.2.1 OOS build with ButterLimits Mod set to Extreme. Still no help ..
Anyone can help me with a solution ?

Well i dont have problems with the battery and heating anymore... but OOS11 in general is not perfect and i am not sure if this is related to the OP7 version. Like it's still slower than 10... Is this related to OP7 to make people buy the newer phones? Mhhh but who buys from the the same company if OP makes phones obviously slower through updates - Are people so stupid... In 2021 Idk.

What about the Widevine L3 level after 11.0.2.1 update?

In my case it didn't,so i still cant watch HD videos on netflix,despite the fact that the update changelog,reported the above fix for video streaming apps.
Is any of you lucky to have Widevine L1 back?

Since i've updated my phone to 11 i never had issues with L1 on 11 even with unlocked bootloader ... But i lost it for some reason on 10 ... It comes back on 11 but not on 10 anymore. Idk why OnePlus phones have such issues I think since OnePlus is so slow with updates now it won't get fixed any time soon or probably not at all ;/ I personally would not purchase a OnePlus anymore at all. Like i literally bought one cause of their reputition for good software support and they really had in the past even for older phones

For me the problem started after updating to 11.
Whilst being on 10,i never had any issue.
I dont know if it has to do with the rom for a specific region?
Mine now has the 11.0.2.1AA,rom,but when i was on 10,i had the BA version for EU,installed.
After updating to 11,i reversed from BA to AA..maybe this could be the culprit?
The big hirony is that i was interested in buying the 8t,but after all these Oneplus behaviours with the faulty and delayed updates,i stopped thinking of ever giving my money to them,despite the fact that their devices are so good.
Here i have to confirm that my Oneplus 7 is my first device of the company,and i feel so frustrated with that Widevine issue.
Other than that,my 7 is one of the best smartphones i ever had.

Android 13 has started rolling out for Xperia 5 III
Has anyone received it and installed it?
My device hasn't received it yet (XQ-BQ52, Greece)

Czechia here. I have A13 since yesterday. I did factory reset also. So far everything works fine and I have a feeling it is even faster.

how is it? I updated this morning and and having persistent freezing. Even after doing a factory reset. It seems i can only use the phone for 5-10 mins then I have to reboot. it gets totally unresponsive.

Everything works for me without any problems.

Found my issue. somehow my SD card was causing the issue. I had to format the card, now everything works. Every running ok now and now Nova launcher is much smoother the bug swiping to home is now gone.

Is my phone the only that has 1 available color in:
Settings -> Wallpapers -> Wallpaper and Style -> Basic colors

hi i got the update a week before for my xperia 5 IV XQ-CQ54 (UK) with the size of 900mb..
Nothing major update over the android 12 except for few animations and some polished design in notifications, settings etc. But the major thing i felt is the smoothness, snappy than ever before. Also i felt the battery stand by is good over android 12 when in wifi .. And i always charge the device to 80 only not 100. and it gives a day full of juice with basic usage not heavy usage .. Overall i liked it very much ..

Here is a problem with A13.
My phone no longer pairs with Honor Band 6.
It seems to be a general problem with stockish Android 13 and Huawei accessories.
It affects Pixel Phones too.

Got it earlier this week (XQ-BQ52 UK). Looks like battery consumption is better. However, I use pattern lock screen, and now the dots are way farther from each other, so I have to make bigger movement with thumb. Couldn't find a way yet to make them closer (if possible at all)

I got Android 13 update on my Xperia 5 iii
It is much better now. Android 12 was a little bit off.
Now it's a great phone again.

I got Android 13 this morning. I don't play games, listen to music, or make phone calls. The apps and the camera seem to be working fine as is messaging. It seems snappier than Android 12.

Updated then wiped the phone.
It's fast, stable but I fail to find anything new that is relevant.
In my opinion, Material U is a gimmick and the rest of the Android features are "ok" but nothing crazy.
But hey, it's there and works well, so no need to stay on 12 if the update is available.
