Hi
I have a phone locked to AT&T.
I want to unlock it.
I found UNLOCKING.COM. Their prices are very good but I searched in the google and some people say they are scammers and some say they are not.
Any one tried this site? Can I trust it?
No!!! Don't trust any of those, "unlocking" .com sites... They are almost always scams... I've tried one and it took 2 days to tell me that my phone couldn't be unlocked, and they would send me a refund that, of course never came...

Do you know any good site?
Can you unlock it yourself? I know it's pretty easy to unlock the G2.

I don't, but I have no experience with that phone.
You should be able to get the unlock code from AT&T if you have had your phone/contract for a certain amount of time, i think its a law in the states now...
The problem is i'm out of the states now.
But I found a way to unlock it for my self. I will try it.
Has anyone been able to sim unlock the Bell Sensation?
Sites that have the code for T-Mobile Sensation don't seem to have it for the Bell version. I actually got the Bell Sensation 5 days back and been trying to unlock it since. If someone knows where to get it unlocked, please let me know! I know the code would be available shortly (hopefully soon, but I want to know if anyone has been successful and where)
These are the sites I've used and every one of them has been unsuccessful:
1. unlocking .com
2. gsmliberty .com
3. mobileincanada .com
4. htcimeiunlock .com
5. htcsimunlock .com(took my money, did not result in code and never refunded it back, I've contacted them 4 times and they never reply, its been like 3 days now, you might wanna be careful with these guys)
6. cellunlocker .net (I didn't try to unlock my sensation with these guys, but tried to unlock a different phone and they sent me the wrong code. I asked for a refund, they asked me to provide them video proof, i did that and its been 7 months no refund)
7. cellunlock .net (different site from cellunlocker)
I have checked on more websites that I can't remember at the moment.
This?
Hope it works...
What's the first IMEI digits?
Does Your HTC IMEI# Start With "3577790" or "3578410" or "3526660" or "3539230" or "3538330" or "3589910" or "3523140" ??? They can do it... supposedly.

Nope, my IMEI # Starts with 35644
I know this is off topic but can you confirm if your bell sensation has a camera lens flush to the casing, like it is not recessed. I was at the source looking at a dummy phone and it has a lens flush with the casing.
I am trying http://www.unlockallcellular.com right now... dunno if that will work
Please let us know how it goes. I'm gonna try theunlock.ca

oh god, i have a feeling for the next few weeks the sensation thread is going to be spammed hard by bell users having problems with their sensations :/
unlock codes will take a couple days for the BELL sensation, as bell is NOT a fan of their exclusive branded hardware going to other carriers, even if you buy off contract or in another store
But I can't wait a couple of days, I have to use it now!! Just kidding, was actually hoping I'd be able to unlock today, guess Ill have to wait. Hope we wont have to wait too long.

As soon as someone gets their Bell Sensation unlocked, let us know which site you used!

I just emailed him, lets see what happens. He said he did 2 bell's yesterday successfully and one did not work.
Kijiji Guy can't do it for a week. If you know someone with a bell account they will do the unlock for $75 bucks, seems like the only option right now.

Did he say his unlock codes would be available in a week?
I've never actually owned a device on launch, so is that generally the rule? Unlock codes usually take up to a week to obtain?
Thanks for the info by the way.

cellunlocker .net has stolen my money before, I'd never use their service ever or recommend it to someone else.
No, no luck. They charged me for the unlock codes but refunded me within 2 hours with an email that said "Not Found".
They have noted on their website that their HTC codes only get updated once a week, so I guess we just gotta wait!
it's the same from the note 4. y
you'll need to call to get your MSL first. going through the automated prompts took longer than getting the MSL from the CSR (who was extremely nice BTW).
after that follow the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/general/lollipop-hotspot-root-flashing-t3048163
this'll hold me over until we get root and hopefully some dev here. seems ours has the OEM unlock in dev settings. dunno if that means anything, but hope that it means unlocking the bootloader is easy.
Worked for me thanks. Not sure why to root yet. Damn thing is nice. And the fingerprint wow
yep first phone with a fingerprint reader and I'm impressed. it's almost a must have now!
And got the MSL easy from the chat
How to root?

I need it cause im a developer. For programming reasons

Is your phone leased or easy pay? I understand it is harder to get if it is.
Did you tell them you were a developer and needed it for that?
Good luck!

I was told "Agent : The MSl will be displayed and can be requested if you decide to pay the End of Lease purchase amount for your phone by the end of your 24 months lease." because my line has a leased agreement on it but I used another line to upgrade and did a 2yr agreement on that line and was told "Agent : Alright, the phone was upgraded at a discounted price in exchange for a two year agreement. And the MSL of the phone will be accessible and can be requested as soon as the 2 year contract agreement has been completed on 8/20/2017" Soooooo.....I'm gonna have to work some "developer" magic on another agent later and see what happens.
after 8 tries they finally gave it to me. every time i did mention i was a developer
but i couldnt get the hotspot working. keep saying i dont have a hotspot plan

So my speakers have blown in my pixel and I contacted Google to get a replacement. Since I didn't buy it from the Google store they won't over night me a new phone, and said I have to return my phone before they will send me my replacement. This means I'll be without a device for up two weeks, depending on how the holidays effect things. My question is this, has anyone started receiving updated pixels yet? I don't want to send in my device that has been unlocked just to have it replaced by a device that I won't be able to unlock. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Surprised Google didn't tell you to contact VZ. I think you will still be OK. They are not shipping 7.1.1 yet and I bet it will be a long time, if ever, before they do.

Isn't there a Verizon store near you? Where do you live? You can also have them cross ship you, meaning you pay for the new one and they credit you when they receive it back. Have them bill the cross ship to your account if you don't have available credit or cash. Come on man, there is more than one way to do this. Use your ingenuity.

I asked the Google rep if that was an option and he said no! I had to have the Google store version to be shipped over night. no pay now we credit later given.
Hmmm.. So will they be sending you a Google version or Verizon? If you get a Verizon and it's on 7.1.1 you're SOL. I can't understand why Google would even offer to replace a Verizon phone.

Not sure why you are saying "if ever" implying there's a chance they might not ever ship with the 7.1.1 update which is not true at all. They 100% will eventually ship with it.. they didn't make a bunch of pixels and are never going to produce them again. I bet mid January we start to see them shipping with it

This whole thread makes no sense at all. If you have a Verizon phone why the heck would you call Google? Call Verizon and get it replaced. You are missing an important part of this in your explanation of the issue. As it stands no one can help you.

It sounds very weird. But then again, Apple will exchange warranty phones even if you buy from the carriers.

The operative word is, "trying" to be a hardware company. Apple already is. For many years and with revenue to match. Perhaps when Google makes as much money on the Pixel as Apple does on their iPhone brand then things will change. Also, there is only one device that runs IOS and many multiples that run Android. If you want Google to only allow Android on their own devices then I think you might be closer to what you are asking for.
As for your point about Verizon, have you called them for the replacement? That's your next step.

I'm wondering if you're responding to the wrong person. I'm not the one returning anything.... this time. That's OK. We're good.
To answer your last paragraph, yes, I've done plenty of returns with Verizon. Lol. I have over 40 lines with Big Red since 18 years ago. They treat me very well as far as returns and customer service in general. It's usually "no question asked" kind of thing.

I just bought an xfinity locked note 10+ off ebay and was looking to get it unlocked, trouble is I've never done this before so I was wondering if I could do it myself or pay someone to do it for me (I did look online for a few services but they were ~70 dollars which seems a little pricey). I can't, returns are not accepted. I just want to find a way to enter the sim unlock code.
Talk the the bank of the card the purchase was made on to have them do a charge back. Then return it. The imei could end up being blacklisted otherwise depending on its history.
