Problem Type C connection - Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I have a laptop with USB C input and when I connect the Note 10 everything is correct. The problem is that I don't have the option to transfer files if I don't install the driver and when I install it, it stops recognizing the terminal and recognizes it again excessively continuously.
Any solution to this? With USB to normal input does not happen and everything works properly

[Q] Nexus S not detected by Computer

Just updated my phone (Nexus S) to cm-10.1-20121223-NIGHTLY-crespo. While it works fine as of now, one problem I am facing is when I connect it to the PC with the cable, though it goes into storage mode on the screen, however it does not show up in the PC. This prevents me from copying files from my computer to my phone.
It shows up in the device manager as a recognized Samsung device, but does not show in My Computer.......Any idea why this could be happenning ?
Thanks
I hope you have installed drivers and phone by USB direct to pc port not thru USB hub.
Happened to me once using USB hub cannot transfer files, so I connect direct and it works.

[Q] Windows 8.1 connection issue

Hello everyone.
I am having issues with my Note being detected by my PC, I have installed Kies 3 and when the Note is connected the connection process starts but fails ( I tried using camera mode instead of MTP and Kies says It must be MTP so something is connecting), Also the device is detected in the device manager of the PC and the Note itself says its connected by USB 3.0.
I have updated, un-installed re-installed, all the drivers and Kies. I have also used a standar USB 2 cable and most of the ports on my PC.
Does anyone know what's going on? could it be a USB 3 issue with Windows?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Gav
I've been having consistent issues connecting with the tablet through adb, on both linux (2 separate installs), and windows 8.1. Sometimes it just will not detect it. It gets detected as mtp storage fine, but adb devices returns nothing. Ill triple check all the relevant settings, make sure the computer has been authorized by the tablet etc. It will literally work just fine, and then 10 minutes later without even disconnecting the cable to using the tablet, it will no longer be detectable by adb.
I'm hoping it's just bugs in the release firmware that haven't been ironed out yet, and will disappear with future upgrades or with the flashing of a custom rom.
I've also had it refuse to charge through my laptops USB ports, even the special "faster charging" port.
It turns out my issue was the unit itself I took it back to JB-HiFi and the staff checked it out and it wouldn't connect to any of their PCs, we tried the Demo unit and it worked fine, So i exchanged it and it works perfectly..
Thanks for your reply though

[Q] Nexus 5 not connecting to computer (usb), does not show in device manager

Hi,
I would like to see if I can get anyones assistance with solving my problem. I have lost the ability to connect my Nexus 5 to my computer via USB. I had previously been able to connect the phone without any problems.
Connecting my phone to PC charges the phone but no drivers are loaded, nothing changes in device manager and I cannot see a change in windows explorer to view the memory card.
So far I have tried the following:
searches on various sites
rebooting phone, starting in safe mode, wiping all data, performing a hard reset
connecting other phones to usb cable to check that it is not a charge only cable, also trying several other USB cables
connecting phone to other computers
connecting other phones (HTC) to load drivers (then uninstalling drivers)
displaying all hidden devices in device manager and removing all drivers that resemble something to do with mobile phones
uninstalling programs I no longer require on the PC
using "wugs nexus root toolkit" to uninstall and re-install drivers
checking & unchecking MTP, PTP, developer options, USB debugging in various combinations to elicit a response from the computer.
I have also tried to visually check the connections of the USB port on the phone wondering is there is a break but I cannot see very well.
does anyone have any further suggestions to get this phone connected to a PC?
my only last thought is to attempt to open the phone and check the resistance of the plug connections.
Have you tried enabling and disabling usb debugging while plugged in?

I just did it, no change in Device manager or explorer

Are you sure you're using a data usb cable and the usb port is good?
Same Issue
same thing happened to me today when i connected the device to PC.
Mine says unknown device on PC under other devices. so i hope my USB port is ok.but im not using the original SUB cable. i wonder that's is the issue. but it didn't bother me until today. my original cable is at my friend's house.
Tried updating drivers manually. But following error message occurs once i select the drivers folder and hit ok.
Windows was unable to install your unknown device
Please help.
so, not really a solution but while at work my phone fell on to a nice rock cracking the screen. I have replaced the phone and the new phone connects to the pc fine, drivers come up without a problem (I will put this down to a fault with the phone)
Thank you for your assistance

Frequent USB disconnection issues

When I connect my POCO X3 to a USB 2.0 port on laptop, the device keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to the extent that my laptop notifies that this USB device is not recognizable. on connecting the device to a USB 3.0 port nothing happens. The phone is not even detected. Used the same cable to connect my POCO M2 PRO to the same USB 2.0 port on the laptop and all is fine. There is no issue in charging the device. Anyone else facing this? Is this a software issue? I hope so .
Is there an alternative way to transfer files (faster) from PC to phone?
Mine works fine on usb 3.0 but disconnects on 2.0. I did have adb drivers installed when I connected the phone.
use share me through wifi
Hey, I think you should try different USB port or system first. Even after doing so, still your USB keeps disconnecting and reconnecting then must reformat your USB drive. Hope this will help you…!

Samsung Galaxy s10e usb data transfer stops after a minute

Hello All,
I'm facing a weird issue on my S10e. After connecting the USB cable to the Windows PC for data transfer, the device will stop responding to data transfer after a minute, unless I restart it again. Get the error 0x80070141 which refers to the device not responding.
I have tried installing updated drivers, run the 'Hardware and Devices' troubleshooter, changed the USB cable and port, restarted the PC. however it does the same, works for a minute and then I cannot transfer anything to and from the PC. it also then stops showing up on Device Manager. Please help me out.
