I wrote an Android application that control an RC car. The phone and the car communicates by bluetooth. I have tested the application with several Android based phones. The Os version was 5.0 and lower. I had problem with only one phone. That was a Nexus 5 with the newer version of Android. After the new update arrived to my phone, i just updated my phone. I changed 4.4.2 to 5.0, I have an LG G3. Unfortunatly after the update the problem occured on my phone too. The problem is that after the phone connected to the car the data send is getting laggy and slowing down and the car cannot be controlled, sometimes it work fine for few seconds. On every other phone I have tested the application it worked fine.
Anybody knows anything about that problem?
Thank
Hello. I just purchased my new 500S with Uconnect 7 + Android Auto.
I connected my smartphone (Nexus 6P + Android Oreo) and I see Android features well (phone calls, aps, waze, music) on the screen.
Then I connected my wife's smartphone (Honor 8 + Android Nougat), but the Android Auto remains visible on the smartphone and does not connect or appear on the Uconnect display?
Possible solutions?
Thank you
So IAM using my pixle 3 as my back up phone ..and can't for the life of me get my Android auto to work in any of my cars....is there a known bug with p3 and Android auto ?
Are you talking about the Android Auto app or an Android Auto head unit in your car? If the app, what is not working? Do you have a bluetooth connection? Does Maps work?
App ...I hate my pixle because of it
I'm on AA Version 5.0.500224 on my Pixel 3 and use it plugged into my 2019 Subaru all the time. Once in a while the head unit locks up and doesn't work until I turn the car off and back on. Car, not a phone problem.
Works fine on my wife's OG Pixel as well.
You need to give it a load of permissions and have location on.
I use my Pixel 3 in my 2017 Subaru daily. I'd suggest a new USB cable. Also, about a year ago they added a feature to the HK audio that lets you reboot the head unit without turning the car off by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Late reply: don't forget to enable data transfer for the USB, not charge only.
It would be worth checking the cable you are using - I have found some cables are not compatible with using Android Auto
Android auto does not launch when I connect it to my car Corolla 2019. I am on official China 12.0.13 based on Android 10. In my old phone Mi 9, with official EEA it launched without problems. If I install it as an apk I have sound on YT Music only after I reboot the phone. If I disconnect it and connect it again the counter (timer) of the song goes on, but I have no sound. Tried with 3 different cables. If I reboot the phone I have sound again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks is in advance.
Hi all,
do you know how to resolve problem with android auto on Mi 10T Pro?
When I connect phone to my car I cannot run app e.g. Spotify - I see on car monitor "Spotify doesn't seem to be working at the moment".
When I run spotify on mobile manualy - my car see it. It is with all apps like Google Podcasts or TuneIn etc... the same error, but if you run app from mobile I can manage it from my car monitor with android auto.
Thank you for replay!
