Hello. I just purchased my new 500S with Uconnect 7 + Android Auto.
I connected my smartphone (Nexus 6P + Android Oreo) and I see Android features well (phone calls, aps, waze, music) on the screen.
Then I connected my wife's smartphone (Honor 8 + Android Nougat), but the Android Auto remains visible on the smartphone and does not connect or appear on the Uconnect display?
Possible solutions?
Thank you

I read that Android Auto doesn't require mirrorlink to work with your car, but I cannot get Android Auto to work with my Honda Civic EX Hatch 2017 without enabling mirrorlink.
When I connect my USB C cable with mirrorlink off, nothing happens. It doesn't even detect a device as being connected on my phone or the car's infotainment screen.
When I start mirrorlink it instantly brings up my Samsung device on the car's dashboard and phone goes into android auto mode with a black backdrop.
Hi, I've got a civic hatch and an S8+. Android auto works exactly the same as it did with my Pixel xl.
Start with the basics. Have you got android auto installed on the phone?
Which usb port are you using? I think it only works with the front one.
I can check any settings on the car or phone if you need to check anything
Hello,
I've got a new Dasiata PX5 with Android 8.0 and 4GB of RAM in my Honda CRV-2012.
Everything is OK exect the Bluetooth is not working. It can not recognize any device. Also no device can see the radio (tried Galaxy S8 and iphone 6).
I tried changing the bluetooth adapter in Factory menu then reboot, but no one worked.
Since bluetooth is 100% essential for me, any help would be appreciated.

I had the same issue when upgrading from Android 6.0 to 8. Have you contacted Dasiata about the issue?
If unable to resolve, consider downgrading to Android 6, at least to test your bluetooth. You can always go back to 8.

Bluetooth noise
I have recently installed an HA2102-V840-8 "10.2" HD Touch Screen Octa Core Android 8.0 car GPS player 4G RAM + 32G autoradio" in my Lancer. It's an awesome unit, looks great and has great features.
The only problem is digital/electronic noise whenever there is audio playing. The noise is only present when my phone (or any phone) is paired with bluetooth and some/any audio source is active. It happens with usb audio, radio and phone. It stops as soon as the phone is unpaired/bluetooth turned off or music is paused. It also stops briefly between music tracks. Has anyone else encountered this?
Got a new car the other day with Android Auto. Its a Nissan and the phone is also connected by BlueTooth as well as USB for (Android Auto). While driving my watch is connected, but as soon as I turn off the car and get out my watch also disconnects from my Note 8 and I have to re-pair it. Anyone have any ideas? Didn't happen with my Ford (though that didn't have Android Auto), just Bluetooth
Hello Everyone,
I am a new AndroidOS user and recently had a friend help me install a head-unit to my Audi A4. The head-unit is similar to the following model:
Audi/Seat | Qualcomm 665| Android / iPhone | Octa Core | 6GB RAM &128GB ROM | Integrated 4G Solution | IQ82A4AL
XTRONS IQ82A4AL is a brand new Octa-core car sereo for Audi/Seat with Qualcomm 665 6GB RAM 128GB ROM Integrated 4G solution plus the latest in-car entertainment features premium quality built-in DSP, CarPlay & Android Auto and more.

Background:
I have noticed that when I INITIALLY pair my iPhone to the Android head-unit over BT, it will ask me to pair on my iPhone (which I confirm), and then switch to CarPlay automatically. At this point everything dealing with CarPlay is handled over Wifi (not BT), but if I go back to the main AndroidOS UI, and check if my BT is still paired, is it DISCONNECTED. I am also able to confirm that the BT connection is disconnected on my iPhone as well. Each subsequent connection, as soon as I turn on the car and it connects to my phone (over BT), it switches to CarPlay, and then the BT disconnects. I would have assumed the BT connection would still be active and paired at this point.
Question:
Is the BT connection being disconnected (after CarPlay is initialized) expected behavior? I chatted with my friend who is an Android-Auto user, and he said with his setup (using similar head-unit), the BT connection is ACTIVE even after Android Auto takes over control.
Any feedback on how this is supposed to work for Apple iPhone users, utilizing the CarPlay functionality, would be greatly appreciated. If I could provide any additional information on my side, to assist with troubleshooting, please let me know.
Thanks,
Asif
Hi all,
I have a Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, and been having problems with Android Auto for about 2 months.
The issue is that when I used Android Auto (wired via USB-C), audio (spotify) starts playing through the car speakers, and after 5 seconds starts playing
through the phone speakers. Then it switches back and forth, or sometimes I don't hear anything at all.
So I cannot listen to musinc with Android Auto.
For the rest, everything in the phone and Android Auto is working perfectly.
I've tried :
- installing other ROM's : ArrowOS (Android 12), EvolutionX (Android 13) with complete factory defaults.
The issue remains.
- changing cables, trying in other cars. The issue remains linked to my phone.
Works correctly in my car (Skoda Superb) with other phones and same cable.
- Installing latest APK's from Android Auto, spotify,...
- Tinckering with bluetooth parameters.
- cleaned the usb connector.
- Disabled the Google assistant listening to "OK google".
As the issue remains with different ROMS and after factory defaults, it seems something is physically broken in my phone?
Thx,
Thomas.
up.
