Bluetooth problems after Android L update - General Topics

I wrote an Android application that control an RC car. The phone and the car communicates by bluetooth. I have tested the application with several Android based phones. The Os version was 5.0 and lower. I had problem with only one phone. That was a Nexus 5 with the newer version of Android. After the new update arrived to my phone, i just updated my phone. I changed 4.4.2 to 5.0, I have an LG G3. Unfortunatly after the update the problem occured on my phone too. The problem is that after the phone connected to the car the data send is getting laggy and slowing down and the car cannot be controlled, sometimes it work fine for few seconds. On every other phone I have tested the application it worked fine.
Anybody knows anything about that problem?
Thank

Bluetooth Problems w/Marshmallow

Hi,
I use 3 bluetooth devices at home. With my previous build (rooted and tweaked Kit Kat) everything worked just fine.
I flash the new Marshmallow, root it and tweak it a bit (nothing major) like I did before but now my Bluetooth can only see one device out of my 3.
Doing a Google search I see some problems but nothing recent and no possible fixes.
Anyone else have this problem and get it fixed? Anyone have any thoughts?
It's lonely being the only one.
You're not the only one - since upgrading to STOCK Marshmallow and now 6.0.1, if my phone is more than 6 INCHES from my headset, any of 5 of them, the phone will connect / disconnect every 20 to 70 seconds. If the phone is in my left pocket with the headset in my right ear, I can't connect the headset AT ALL! I'm gettin' my HATE on for Marshmallow in a big way!

New PX5 Android 8.0, 4GB RAM, Bluetooth not working

Hello,
I've got a new Dasiata PX5 with Android 8.0 and 4GB of RAM in my Honda CRV-2012.
Everything is OK exect the Bluetooth is not working. It can not recognize any device. Also no device can see the radio (tried Galaxy S8 and iphone 6).
I tried changing the bluetooth adapter in Factory menu then reboot, but no one worked.
Since bluetooth is 100% essential for me, any help would be appreciated.

I had the same issue when upgrading from Android 6.0 to 8. Have you contacted Dasiata about the issue?
If unable to resolve, consider downgrading to Android 6, at least to test your bluetooth. You can always go back to 8.

Thx for you help. Can i downgrade juste like a regular update? put on sdcard and use factory update?
Has this issue been resolve? I bought Anroid 8.0 Radio from Dasaita too and Bluetooth is not working well.
Hello, no solution yet
Let me know if you find one!
Bluetooth noise
I have recently installed an HA2102-V840-8 "10.2" HD Touch Screen Octa Core Android 8.0 car GPS player 4G RAM + 32G autoradio" in my Lancer. It's an awesome unit, looks great and has great features.
The only problem is digital/electronic noise whenever there is audio playing. The noise is only present when my phone (or any phone) is paired with bluetooth and some/any audio source is active. It happens with usb audio, radio and phone. It stops as soon as the phone is unpaired/bluetooth turned off or music is paused. It also stops briefly between music tracks. Has anyone else encountered this?

Tmotec android stereo Bluetooth and update issues

Hi I bought a Tmotec 5.1.1 android stereo last year April 2017. I'm starting to get issues with the Bluetooth. The issue I'm getting is when connecting my galaxy S7 it's hit and miss if it connects, but when it does it sometimes drops connection. It's very frustrating when it happens. I tried to park the car close to the house to see if it needed an OS update, but when I went into about device I clicked check for updates and says something like 'no image file' so can't check to see if everything is ok. As it's the 5.1.1 lollipop OS, does it cost to upgrade to a newer version and is the Bluetooth an app or is it built in?

bluetooth keeps forgetting device

my pixel 3 bluetooth keeps forgetting my car hands free system
i pair my devce as normal and for a few days a week at all is good the little phone icon appears on the honda display
then nothing
i go to the car system and it lists my pixel 3 as a stored device yet in the phone in previously connected devices the Honda HFT is not listed so i delete phone from car and rinse and repeat
i googled the issue and came across a similar issue on a different car brand and they suggested changing the avrcp version from the default 1.4 to 1.6 exactly the same infact ive tried all 1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6
i spoke to google via chat and they suggested network reset and delete and repair for and to report back if it happens again (which it has)
has anyone come across this issue before ???
i never had this problem on my my pixel 2 until it upgraded to android 9
im starting to think my car is too old for the software in the phone
the vehicle is a 2009 honda civic with factory bluetooth
as we never have an issue with the 2018 mazda we also own
as a last resort i am going to pair an old samsung tablet thats on android 5.1 and see how long that lasts as i dont think its the car system faulty as it remembers my phone

Have you updated to the Dec firmware? That has a patch for the Bluetooth issue.
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Yes December 5 it says on security patch level
It was working ok this morning on way to work but forgot the device on way home
So the Samsung tablet is still connecting as it should
I'll leave it a bit longer in the interest of science
Is it plausible that the Bluetooth version is too new for the car ?? I have no other problem with newer Bluetooth devices
Anybody have any suggestions
Tablet is still connecting as it should without prompt

Android Pie handsfree problem

I have this problem with the Android Pie version on both MIUI versions. After a few minutes the cell phone is disconnected from the handsfree car radio. Bluetooth media continues to work and voice call also works, but it does not connect to the car radio in handsfree mode although I can speak through it. Sometimes I can't even connect with it but only the phone mode. I've tried everyting, clean install and wipe everything on the car radio, but no luck. It works perfect on the Oreo version of 10.0.2.0 but all the Pie versions have this problem. From what I found it looks like there is some problem on Android Pie about the handsfree bluetooth issue, but most of the people report that after the Security Patch update of October, all the issues are gone, but for me the issue remains. My car radio is based on R-link 2 from renault, which is based on Android. Does anyone knows how to handle this? Thanks.
