Moto G7 power (Forgot start-up pattern and cant do a factory neither recovery mode) - Moto G7 Power Questions & Answers

Dear Friends,
Please let me know if this post is in the wrong place.
I have an issue with my Moto G7 power, I restarted it and it asks for pattern access (to start up the phone and activate the finger print), I entered the pattern multiple times (I guess that I forgot my pattern) and it didn't accept it.
I tried to do the factory wipe, I can login to bootloader and when I select factory mode it will just boot again. And if I select recover mode then it shows a dead android with a red triangle and NO Command.
I would need your advice and guidance.
Thanks

Have you installed phone drivers??
You can install the drivers from here!
Is your bootloader locked?
you can try to enter the pattern a couple of times until the phone gets locked for 30s.
eventually on the bottom you will then see a "forgot pattern" button (or something like that)
to unlock the phone you have to enter the google-account name/email and password
good luck

Fastboot Mode Issue

Dear All,
Please help me regarding fastboot. When I press 3 keys (vol-up, vol-down and power key) while phone is off. I see the black and white screen written boot modes. From there when I select AP Fastbood device is restart with red Motorola logo and end up on home screen.. I have tried several times to turn off the device and repeat this process but no issue still there..
Moreover, if I did not select any options from boot modes than device automatically rebooted after 3 or 4 seconds..
Please help me out.. I want to unlock the boot loader root and install custom ROM..
Currently Model Number is XT925 and device is completely stock.. never rooted before...
thanks and regards,

After you use the volume down key to highlight "Fastboot", do you then press the volume up key to select it? If you just sit there and wait it will reboot normally. You must press the volume up key after you've highlighted the menu option.

try this,
-install adb on your pc
-plug in phone when powered up
- open a command prompt in your adb dir
- type in: adb devices then enter. it should show your phone in the prompt. also check your phone, there may be a popup to acknowledge.
- rerun adb devices until it shows your phone properly or you cant proceed
-now type in: adb reboot bootloader
if it works, the phone should reboot to the fastboot screen.
if it doesnt stick in fastboot, im sorry but i dont know what else to tell you to try.
Thank-you for the Response

That's the entry to stock recovery. You have to push a combination of buttons from there to get into recovery. I forget the button combination, it has been posted many times, try searching or wait for someone else to jump in with the answer.

Not sure where to post this question been reading so many post my eyes are tired......
- XT926 upgraded to kitkat 183.46 last week via flash in RSD from JB 4.1.2
- Root went well DONE (Towel root .apk)
- Unlock went well DONE (Motopocalypse .apk) yes fastboot shows the #3
- Flashed TWRP 2.7.1 DONE (did it using the adb in motopocolypse)
- Backed up my current stock ROM in TWRP seemed to go well the program confirmed the backup was successful...So I thought
- Got confident and wanted to try flashing CM11 (Kitkat version)
- After flashing CM11 my phone got stuck at boot like many others have.... no problem I backed up my stock ROM in TWRP.....So I thought
- Went to restore my stock ROM using TWRP and yup you guessed it like many others the restore failed half way through
Not a big deal starting fresh can be a good thing BUT I really need my old text messages and all I have is a USB backup of the phone (Internal/SDcard) on my PC and of course the TWRP back-up on the SDcard that won’t restore ...... Is there any way to get these messages back to my phone????

Not sure how to help you with your immediate problem at hand, but going forward, I definitely recommend the sms backup + from the Google Play Store. Nice thing with that app is, you can link it to your gmail account, and all your text messages are backed up to your gmail.

Pixel Stuck in Bootloop, ADB Unauthorized, Bootloader Unlocked

Hello, I recently came on a pixel phone to build and use lineageOS on. Upon rebuilding, I believe I performed adb sync wrong the device and damaged system. After that, my adb keys became unauthorized and I am unable to access the bootloader menu(I press power and volume, but phone boots into Bootloop). I tried the steps to get to bootloader menu, but the phone doesn't power completely off, and when I press the power button it gives me the launch screen saying press power to pause/continue boot, not allowing me to go into bootloader
My bootloop goes like this: Bootloader integrity screen(bootloader unlocked, cannot be verified) --> Google loading screen --> Android recovery. This shows 2 options with the message, "Can't load Android system. Your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message, you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device". The two options are to try again or data reset.
I press try again, and the same bootloop ensues, sometimes getting to lineage loading logo, but then back to the same recovery error regardless. If I press the buttons(power and vol up), to go into recovery, it just shows an android with a warning sign above it, giving a message saying "Error!" on the bottom. My adb on the computer shows as unauthorized, so I don't know how I can fix this. Google has said the warranty is expired and cannot do anything to help. Ideas to fix? Thanks for help in advance!
Use power and volume down (not up) to go into Fastboot mode. Then flash the stock images

I tried that, but whenever I press any button, the phone is never turning completely off unless it dies. Even after that, it goes to the screen showing the secure boot integrity(Press power to continue/stop boot)
How can I completely shut off the device and restart it? And if system is messed up, will that leave my bootloader intact(I'm assuming so as boot is a different partition?)

Does holding down the power button for 5-10 seconds turn it off? Or if you do that does it appear to turn off and then restart?
If that fails to turn it off, try just holding power and volume down for 5 seconds, and if the screen flashes (goes off and then on) let go of the power button but keep holding volume down and hopefully it goes into Fastboot.
That should work unless you have a dodgy power or volume button. The bootloader is completely separate to the boot partition, and the fact that it's doing anything at all suggests that it's still functioning.
Only other option I can think of is trying ADB commands when it's in recovery mode, e.g. adb reboot bootloader. However, if you have the stock recovery, that may not work.

Thank You!!! It didn't work in the bootloop, so I had to let the phone drain its battery and shut itself off, then I was able to enter the bootloader and reinstall lineage. Thanks so much!

Is ur bootloader unlocked? If so, use twrp to perform a full wipe and install from twrp as well. Of you can't access trwp, and are in a bootloop, do the same thing I did: let the phone lose all it's battery, so it's outta the loop, connect the phone to a charger, then hold power and volume down. This should get you into bootloader mode where you can then use fastboot to flash twrp.

My bootloader is unlocked but phone not detected on pc only black screen nothing else.... Red light flashes whenever connect to charger

Can't unlock phone due to fatfingering password, it's not OEM unlocked in Fastboot.

So I think my phone is ****ed, I've tried everything I can think of so hopefully some of you more knowledgeable folks can chime in.
My main phone is a Galaxy S20 5G, but I bought a pixel 3a off of Swappa because I still love pure Android and for the Camera (this was before I had the S20 and had an S10). I had the disposable income so why not?
I've been using it a lot lately because I carry both sometimes. My method for security on my 3a is finger prints, but I had pattern also. I decided to make it a password instead of pattern since it's more secure, and I think I fat fingered the password because it wouldn't take it.
I went to find my device on Google and locked it, gave it a temporary password, but it's not taking it and I'm 99.9% certain it's the one I created, literally 40 seconds apart lol...
I tried to unlock it in ADB but it's locked in Fastboot so it wouldn't let me Fastboot unlock, flash all (insert random rom), Fastboot erase, or -w because it says it can't because the device is locked (in Fastboot, this phone is locked in more than one way lol...).
I can't factory reset it and I don't know the temporary password and when I try the lock option on Google again it doesn't find the phone even though it's connected to my Wi-Fi and I even put my sim card in it and tried LTE.
Am I ****ed or is there something I can do that I haven't tried yet?
Please, if anyone has any ideas I will buy you a damn beer if you help me. Bump.
Edit: please read everything before you do it so that you know what is going it to happen.
In fastboot, try the command *fastboot flashing unlock* WARNING THIS WILL ERASE ALL FILES
Now download the sargo factory images from this website and unzip it.
Now run the flash-all.bat/.sh depending on what operating system you use, but for windows use the .bat
If it boots into the operating system, dont do anything but just shut it down and reboot into fastboot (Power+VolUp)
Now run *fastboot flashing lock* THIS WILL REMOVE ALL FILES AGAIN.
PS: You cant restore a backup since you are going to need the password for that.

Second reply, since I believe I misread your question a bit.
You were saying that you cant fastboot flashing unlock, if that is the case, try this:
Turn off your your device, boot to recovery mode by pressing and holding power button and volup button. If you see no command, then hold the power button and quickly press the volume up button. Then you should be in recovery mode. Then keep pressing volume down until you are on Wipe data/factory reset, and press the power button.
Hope that worked.

Help!! PLEASE!

I tried to root my Moto G5s+ to install a more lightweight ROM.
I reset my phone and didn't even add a pin.
Unlocking the bootloader worked
Then I tried to install TWRP, it failed 3 times
Then I tried to boot the phone, it asked for a password
I didn't even add a password
When I tried to go into recovery mode, it said "No Command"
So i can't even use my phone now, Atleast it was my alt phone.
Look inside here:
How to Fix Android Recovery Mode No Command Error
The no command Android error has popped up for many users when in the recovery mode. But before we start, lets understand why it exists.
