{Mod edit}. It only costs around 620$. {Mod edit}
I just wonder how to install google store? The seller can help me install it. But I want to open the box myself. This is the first time I use Chinese oppo phone. Is there a video guide?

If you can unlock the bootloader, or install .zips from recovery, you can use opengapps. Otherwise, I'm not yet aware of a side-load method.

You should be able to install the Play Store using the APK file that you can download from apkmirror. From there you can then install other Google apps. Depending on the set-up, you may also need the APK files for Google Play Services, Google Services Framework, calendar sync etc.
There are lots of guides online. Eg https://forum.xda-developers.com/find-X/help/install-playstore-t3823897/amp/
Have you received your gundam edition yet? I have been told it won't ship until after Nov 12th.

Yes. I am waiting too. The supplier Ross said he will ship to me at 12th or 13th. And I also buy a Gundam Gaming Pad and a Wireless headset from him. Can't wait to get them.

Thank you. But it seems it is too difficult for you. I will try to find an easy way, but still thank you for your help!

just download a play store apk and install it, other parts of GMS have already been pre-installed.

and OPPO is quite conservative on bootloader unlocking issues, according to the previous reno series phones, it would take 3 months (since that phone release) before OPPO announce the method of locking bootloader.

Reno Ace comes with Google service installed, just go to apkmirror download Google play apk and you're good. I've been using this phone since launch date on At&t with no issues. Btw, $620 seems to be a lot, I ordered on JD.com on presale with 200yuan discount, so total price for a 8/256 purple one is 3099yuan plus shipping that rounds to about $450 USD.

Amazon App Store now working in UK

Hi,
My friend installed the Amazon App store app on his sensation and it allowed him to download the free app of the day. Not a big deal for people in the US, but he's in the UK, where in the past it always reported that the service was "unavailable in your country".
I tried myself and I can confirm that it does indeed appear to work now.
Sorry that this is not specifically 'Sensation' related, but I'm sure it'll be applicable to many UK sensation users.
Just thought it was worth mentioning.
Craig.

You have to download it from the Amazon.com (US) site. Worked for me, but not sure about reports that it isn't working now. Guess the only way to be sure in your country is to give it a go.

Anyone know where I can buy the pro version using paypal? Slideme doesn't have it, and I don't do google. The Amazon appstore doesn't have the pro version either.

Well, you'll either have to use Google Play or contact the developer and donate to him or something.

Won't do Google Play unless there's a way to use paypal.
I'd gladly donate to the developer, unfortunately they don't have that option, and their website is barebones.
Strange that the Amazon store doesn't have the pro version for sale.

Picasa Folio

Google is starting to p*** me off more and more lately.
I use or should I say used to use an app called #Picasafolio to manage my #Picasa photos. It's a paid app but the best at what it does and is reasonably priced.
The dev has always been really responsive and usually has a resolution to any issues the same day. I was having some problems relating to the 4.4 update and downloading folders. Emailed the dev who chased down the issue and pushed an update to the play store. Updated last night but didn't try it till this morning. Had an issue where I couldn't login so contacted the dev who responded promptly with the following email:
'This is because Google has terminated the app for apparent violations of copyright. I've appealed but this looks like the end of my business.
Thanks,
Brian'
Checked the play store and sure enough a search reveals nothing. No explanation as to why the app is no longer there, nothing.
I feel angry on behalf of Brian who is a dedicated developer for the android market, no notice, no attempt to resolve the situation, just the app removed from the play store and an email.
I'm one of the lucky ones who are aware of what's happened but what about everyone else who purchased the app? This app has been in the store for a long time so the decision to pull it now seems ridiculous.
Surely as Google Play being a middleman then they have some responsibility to the buyer. After all if I purchased something on Amazon which later didn't work etc I could contact Amazon for a resolution.
There are still plenty of apps on the Play Store which perform similar functions so why remove this one.
I've purchased plenty of apps via the playstore but from now on unless I can get them through Amazon I will have to look for alternatives. I'm not spending money on something just for Google to decide they no longer like it or it no longer fits in the terms and conditions.
Still bloody annoyed with Goggle!!!!!

Yep. I have multiple devices with PIC backup so having something like this is essential to manage the auto backup folder. Since Google has blocked the OAuth the app is now useless.
Well suck me sideways..
This explains why I can't find it in Play store from my tablet..

Anybody know how to raise a complaint with Google about this?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
Some good news! ?
I have republished the app on Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.snapwood.pfolio, addressing the most likely reason for the ban (app name). I have no assurance that Google won't ban this app as well, but as the rest of the app had been stable for at least a year, the app name was the likely reason.
I was able update the app on Amazon, so users there will be receiving an app update to fix the login issue once Amazon approves it.
For Google Play users that want to continue to receive updates or want to avoid the login workaround, please purchase the new app and send me the email address used to purchase the original app. I'll refund that prior order so everything comes out even in the end. I apologize for this mess.
Thanks,
Brian

Honor 6X BLN-AL10 (Chinese Version)

Hey guys,
I'm looking forward to buying the 6X. The Chinese version (BLN-AL10) is the only one I can get but I don't live in China. I saw on the online mall I would like to get the phone from that I would need to install the Play Store and generally Google apps and services manually. Is this true for the Chinese version? And is there anything else I need to know about the said version before I commit to getting the phone? And will it get Nougat? Thanks in advance for any relevant help.
Where do you live? If you live outside China, I highly suggest you to get a US or European version... Because for China models, there are quite a few bloatwares from HUAWEI pre-installed...
And for Google services, yes, you need to install yourself. You can refer to my post below, make sure you read it through the last post:

I'm Kenyan and the device hasn't been officially launched yet and the only version I can get is the Chinese. ? Can't the bloat be uninstalled? Thanks for your link, it is helpful.
And is this version in the Android 7/ EMUI 5 beta testing or will it at least get them in the end?

Most third party and HUAWEI bloatware can be uninstalled. Just 4 or 5 from HUAWEI cannot be uninstalled, but you can disable them.
Beta testing is only for selected users and general public will get it in Q1 2017.
Just a kind reminder: if you cherish your privacy, stay with Google Play and don't play too much of HUAWEI or 3rd party bloatwares...

Go for EU version as it has both gyro amd nfc and no issues with play store as well. In China variant you may need to do lot of work to get google framework working.
Also, evwm of you change all the language and settimgs, you camt get rid of Chinese characters in few apps. Not against it but if you stay in Kenya then definitely you should not go for China Variant.

Thanks man, but unfortunately the Chinese variant is the only one I can get, trust me I checked for all other variants but to no avail. May be I should check the Nova Plus as it's locally available, then again it's more expensive. But again, thanks. And a concern I've picked up from your post- are there really privacy issues on the Chinese version? I too use a banking app and don't think I'd risk it if that's the case.

As in your phone info like IMEI, Geo Location, installed app list, if you check any software from BAT (Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent), 3 major app developers in China, you can easily find that they request almost every single permission your phone can provide, I mean how the heck a music app wants to know what other apps I installed???
Generally, it would be OK for you to use your banking apps in your own country, but just be aware and don't grant too many permissions to any app developed by Chinese company...

From what i have read the Spotify promo is ONLY if you have never had a spotify account, i already had one so premium for me only had the option to pay the 9.99 a month. As far as youtube I already had that through my google play music subscription so I don't know about that.

Use a new email, setup an alias email to use, etc. It will work. I'm on my 4th or 5th different alias with them.
But that would mean your downloaded history all the lists you've compiled on the old account are now useless correct?

Well, I just opened the Spotify app. Since I already have Amazon Music premium family plan, I can't see that Spotify does me any good. I thought I would get a code that I could give away. Sad I even paid the sales tax on this.

Another worthless promo for which I paid sales tax. I had a premium account before which has expired. I thought I would get 4 months free. Not so. I followed the instructions and there is no ability to get Youtube Premium for free for me. The app wants me to restart paying $12 per month. I'll know better when I get the S7+.
Here's what is says in the FAQ
Who is eligible to participate in the Samsung YouTube Trial Offer?
This offer is available to Samsung owners who haven’t previously had a YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, Google Play Music, or YouTube Red subscription (including trials and other promotions).
