Color of Task Bar

I would like to change the color of top/bottom bar for matching my wallpaper. I used a software "theme maker" to make it. However, when I applied it on my D2, the color was different from that I created in theme maker. I wanted to make a bright orange color, but it comes out with a dark light brown......
Any bros. here can tell me what happen and how to make it correctly? Thanks

Try UI Tweaker

Those bars are part of classical windows theme. You can change it in All settings/Personal/Today. There are three or four options but web is full of winmo themes.

The colours cannot be changed on a Win Mobile 6.1 device!

Sorry but they can be changed, I've tried it with soft above. Topaz WWE stock ROM.

I sucessfully changed the color that I wanted! But the dark line still exist. May be the resolution of HD and D2 is different, I have tried to use the default wallpaper, that makes the line thinner but cannot be eliminated.
I actually want to update to WM6.5 for a transparent task/command bar, but I dont know much about the software things and afraid that the warranty would be voided....

I used Theme Maker to change the color of task bar, but the lighting/3D effect disppear that makes the bar so FLAT.....

can some bros tell me how to get rid of that black line?? I dont like the black task/command bar 'cause it makes the screen looking smaller!

Many thanks, good luck with your taskbar. I use max ttm theme maker on my 6.5 custom rom, so my taskbar and command bar are transparent

Is there a way to change the font color to white?

I think the Cyan color is nice and if you could just change the battery and clock/date icon to cyan color as well

can't the icon color just be white?
all the different colors look somehow strange
and white icons on black background is just okay

Stock glass theme uploaded to 1st post!

Fixed green version that still had cyan color in notification view! Please download again if you want that fix.

Green version fix again for the power control bar having manup's icons. Now its .v3.

Tried the white version, but still displays green. Would love for it to have the glassbar, and when you pull down, the text for Notifications is in white, with all of the icons remaining stock. Don't know if it's possible.

I'm using Rodriguez's Froyo Rom and for some reason it won't let me install the launcherpro apk listed here. Any idea what could be causing the problem?
Also, when I install the white there everything comes up green anyway.

I'm running the same ROM and managed to get the APK working last night. I was having the same problem until I deleted some *launch*.asec file under /mnt/asec or /mnt/secure/asec/ (can't remember) using Root Explorer. Must have been left over from some previous installation to SD on the previous ROM.
from /mnt, just do a search for "launch".
Hope this helps..

open Venom Hub, and look in Status Bar themes, locate, download, then install the White Android L Status Bar theme.

Thanks ... Figured it out but now i have to change the background of received notifications coz they r black

Might want to add Notification color #ffffffff and Notification Text color #ff354344

There have to be some settings you've missed.. since mine looks nothing like this! The top is stock, the icons are stock (yes ive installed and applied the android l theme), the bottom is lighter than the notification background itself! someone plz share a better detailed description!.

Contrast (true blacks)

I'm kind of having the inverse experience. Rather than my phone showing a very dark gray in place of black, it is instead showing black where there should be very dark grays including other colors as well. I see people referring to this as "black crush".

Mine is the same. Returning it. The 3 display color options solved nothing. Back too good old pixel XL

My non xl pixel 2 is aweful. Not so much in pictures but video it's more noticeable. Videos sometimes are unwatchable because the crushing looks terrible at night or in dark rooms. Sometimes I can see it pulsing in the background and whatnot with small movements in the video.
