Did u get ur phone working? If not I know a way to get it working.

Not yet , help me

I could also use this. Mine isn't blacklisted, I just received a warranty replacement but never reactivated it on my tmobile account before leaving. Everything is paid off. Just need a way to SIM unlock my paid off T-Mobile branded OnePlus 7 Pro without having to go back to T-Mobile.

See mobdeep, he is in the 7T threads. That's how I got mine sim unlocked. Also now fully unlocked after paying off my devices. Mobdeep can help you sim unlock, but, if blacklisted, there is only one other option and it's illegal to post it here

MetroPCS version Unlocked working on Verizon

So I have the MetroPCS version of the A20. I got it carrier unlocked the other day. I decided to try my Version SIM in it and it actually works. I've been using it a few days with no issues on Verizon. Just thought I'd share that.

Paid for an unlocking service on eBay. I’ve used them several times. They unlocked it via the MetroPCS unlock app (not really an app because they’ve built it in to the actual OS on the A20 under more network settings). So it’s an official unlock not some remote in to your PC scam thing.

Yeah. Sorry, I should have shared that. Wait time was about 10 days. Depending on when you buy it. The cost was $38.99 and the seller is in the link below. I have used them several times as each time it worked out great.

Tnx for sharing ,
Did you activated your A20 before you sent IMEI for unlocking or not? I have mine A20 and it's still not activated, dunno what I should do first ?
It doesn't matter as long as you have the metro unlock app installed.

I'm guessing almost all the MetroPCS A20s on craigslist were given "free with contract" so the initial 24-month contract is not up yet (your case may be different). In that case, I'd expect MetroPCS(Tmo) to eventually put the MEID onto their blacklist. The carriers used to honor each others' blacklists, which could cause Vz to shut off service in the future.
That said, I bought a craigslist Boost G4 a few years ago, which was not accepted by Sprint but has worked fine on Tmo and ATT ever since. So maybe they are not sharing blacklists anymore.
So I look at the ebay link, did you paid 64$ to unlock this device? really
Did u just have a Verizon sim card that u put in the phone? Because I have the same phone and I got it unlocked thru metro but I tried to use a Verizon sim card thru straight talk and it didnt work. Would I just have to get a sim card straight thru verizon and do it that way? Where I'm at I don't get very good service thru t mobile but other ppl have great service with Verizon

I just put my Verizon SIM in it and it started working on Verizon. It was an already active SIM directly through Verizon.

For anyone interested. The updated terms through metro for unlocking the carrier on an Android just involves paying more than $100 on your phones bill.
My A20 is free to unlock in about 10 days or so.
MetroPCS version of the A20
Have you activated the MetroPCS version of the A20 before you sent IMEI to unlock it, mine was not activated. as per my knowledge, Verizon SIM cards work with the following phones such as Verizon iPhone, Verizon Galaxy phone or other unlocked CDMA phones. and it won't be compatible with ATT or GSM phones. I want to get my hands on new MetroPCS as my last phone was way too old and wanted to know whether MetroPCS open near me or not.

T-mobile Oneplus 8 carrier unlock and bootloader unlock question.

I just got a Tmobile Oneplus 8 from a local sale, went straight to XDA for guide on how to sim unlock/bootloader unlock but couldn't find any solid response so I figured I asked. It looks like mobdeep or so (spelling error) could sim unlock and allow bootloader unlock for the device but he is pausing his service? Is that the only way for now? I mean my fiance has t-mobile but I doubt she would want to use my oneplus 8 for 40 days then call in and attempt for an unlock? Do I have to wait until mobdeep resume his service?
I have Tmobile service through a prepaid so I can't call in myself bc it's not an official tmobile account. If someone can guide me that will be awesome. Thanks again!

is there a way to use msm to flash a global rom then update to android 11 beta and then use oem unlock and then use fastboot commands???
That's how i unlocked my bootloader on the tmobile oneplus 7 pro that i financed!
Has Tmo released A11 update yet?
Edit:
Answer:
As per the official information, T-Mobile, a US carrier, has started the development of Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 for the several OnePlus devices.
The Android 11 development is in progress for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 6T devices.
After the development process, T-Mobile will start the testing Android 11 for the above-listed devices. The whole process may take up to 30 days for a stable rollout.

T-mobile op8 sim unlock

So I'll preface this post by saying I can see there is an older thread that's related but has been locked so that's why I'm creating this one. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction of getting my op8 unlocked. It was purchased through t-mobile and is still being paid off. From what I can tell is it should be possible to get it unlocked I just don't know where to turn too. I've thought about calling t-mobile but from what I can tell is they typically offer temporary unlock codes and I'm not sure if that will suit me in my pursuit of rooting my phone. Anyways any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

You do not have to have it paid off. The usually want you to wait about 2 months and two payments and will issue a permanent unlock.
They have the ability to press a button and unlock, they may just not do it.

No not yet but I will here shorty. They've done it for me in the past without issue but I was an active duty air force person going overseas so hopefully they'll unlock me once again as a civy.
Call sprint customer service tell them you talked to oneplus and in order to get your phone working you need to downgrade software and the only way to do that is to unlock bootloader and only way to do that is a sim unlock if they won't do it request to speak with tier 2 in oklahoma they will call you m-f and as soon as you say that they process sim unlock
I just hit the TMobile permanent unlock to see if it would work and it did!
Permanent unlock allows toggling of OEM Unlock in developer options.
I am a Sprint-turned-Tmo OP8 user.
Does this mean I'm simply waiting for them to send email with bin file?
Anyone here already unlock via OP site?

I just know it is network locked to T-Mobile. The person I bought it from told me so. I had no idea it would be so difficult to unlock. If I did, I wouldn't have bought it. I would be glad to provide the specifics but you'll have to guide on what information you need.
Im in the same situation!! only got my imei, and the phone (clean, but i cant unlock it)
OK, AGameOP7 / Kamatron ... By "Locked/Unlocked", are you just referring to being locked to a carrier and required to use a T-Mobile SIM card?
Or, do you mean that you can't unlock the phone or can't unlock the bootloader?
If it is the former (my guess), T-Mobile is required by law to unlock your phone from being used on T-Mobile's network when the contractual commitments for the phone (usually, a one or two year contract) have been met by the original owner.
If you bought these used from friends/family, I would expect that they have paid the phone off by now. The OP7P is more than 2 years old now.
You should be able to just call up T-Mobile, and have them look up the IMEI in their records to see if your OP7P is able to be unlocked at this point, which it certainly should. However, if it isn't and the T-Mob CSR refuses to unlock the phone ... you have one more option available. With T-Mob, you can purchase a pre-paid SIM and have it on the T-Mobile network for a month or two to finish off any contractual commitments T-Mobile still requires. That would cost you money, but it could be a last-ditch solution if you need it.

I sent him a few messages I don't know but I gotta figure out something lol
He's active and just sent me instructions to unlock my OP9 and my son's Nord N10.
Both worked! I'm unlocked and a very happy camper! Those ads were really starting to get to me.
Donation sent! Well worth it!
He did mine, but I was using my unlocked OnePlus 8 during the time. I used my new locked OnePlus 9 for a few days, could not handle using it without root. So I popped my sim card into my unlocked op8.
@mobdeep sent me a msg saying it's done with Instructions. Not unlocking.
I think he needs to do what he does while the OnePlus 9 is active.
I'm not 100% sure that's why it didn't work.
I donated anyway and will donate some more as I know @mobdeep deserves it for everything he does for us!
I'm still active. I unexpectedly got flooded with hundreds of requests over the last few days so I'm doing my best to get around to everyone.
Will you be able to redo it for me? Check your dm about donation! Thank you so much.

I know the feeling without root. The ads alone were driving me nuts! And the performance hit the stock rom was causing!
I kept my 7 Pro with me until the 9 for unlocked. I did phone/email/text with the 9 and then used Wi-Fi on the 7 Pro for everything else.
Converting it to the global rom and then debloating with xXx's Magisk Rom helped a ton.
Following mobbdeep's instructions with it attached to the network the whole time and staying on stock rom worked like a charm. His method worked for my son's Nord N10 as well.
Now a general question: every locked phone I had to date just required a non-network SIM and a code to unlock. Why does T-Mo do it thru an an app instead? I even tried unlocking it the normal way for giggles and it behaved differently than a typical locked phone.
I tried to pm @mobbdeep but It won't let me, are you still doing the free unlocking?
