Have any of you had a stuck pixel appear on your Infinity? Mine is blue and relatively near the center of the screen. I tend to notice it most often when watching videos or anything with a dark background. Ignore the dust as I forgot to wipe the screen before taking the pic. http://bit.ly/XXfale

I had a stuck pixel around two weeks ago.
It was white and toward the left side...I thought oh-boy here we go.
I forgot about it then noticed it went away after a few reboots.
Had this happen on my 6 month old notebook also and that stuck pixel disappeared after one shutdown.

I had a vertical yellow bar appear on mine. It went all the way up the screen. I was past the Amazon return window by 6 days but they overnight-ed me a new one anyway.
So far, I have run Dead Pixel Detector and Pixel Curer, both over night without success. I have also tried "massaging the pixel", both with the screen on and off. Because of the tablet's glass top layer, I'm not sure how effective this method is though. I just press down enough for a few seconds to see some flashing movement on a black background and have the "waves" move through the area of the stuck pixel. Any other suggestions or stories of a similar experience? Has anyone been able to get a replacement from Asus because of a stuck pixel near the center of the screen? This problem is the only thing holding me back from rooting and unlocking.
Has anyone else experienced the appearance of a stuck pixel on their tablet?
I don't really know what is happening but my year old nexus 5 seems to be developing a display problem.
It got a yellowish tint at the bottom of the screen but the top 3/4 is totally fine. What is causing it and is it just me who have this problem? Also, if you have any, please post some solutions to the problem without RMA or replacing anything.
It might be something about light leak but I am not seeing any when the screen is displaying a black picture.

I have a similar thing but it tends to only be on the bottom 1/8 of the screen.
I tend to find this is because this is the least used area of the screen - being where the soft keys go. Try running it full screen, full brightness on a white page (probably using something like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.displaytester&hl=en_GB). When you do this, does the yellowish tint fade over time?

By Over Time do you mean 30 minutes or a day? I tried this method before for about half an hour and it does not seems to be working. Will try it again now. But will it really help?
My OCD is killing me. I told myself not to look at the tint and I end up just staring at it.
Hey Guys,
i have a weird issue with my OP6.
On low brightness my phone is heavily flickering if i restart. It's even happening while locking and unlocking the phone.
I've red some threads where people told it would be a hardware problem and they used warrenty and replaced their screens.
But hornestly i can't believe it's hardware sided.
Does anyone ele have this issue? And was able to solve it?
If necessary i upload a video.
I also went back to OOS 9.0.4 and beta 15.
Actually i use liquid rom (havoc also) and tried different kernels.

Mine just started doing this today but on high brightness. 1/3 of my screen at the bottom flickers and starts turning dark after a few minutes of usage. Did you get this figured out?
Bump
Disable DC Dimming.
It will solve your problem.
Please report this to the oneplus community.

Doesn't fix my issue. It only happens when the phone is cold and it's only the bottom 1/3 of the screen.
I've had the flickering issue over the last few weeks... At first the screen was greyish down below, then it turned black, so i couldnt see anything in this area.
But i could manage to fix this issue, just by wiping cache in stock recovery.
Since then, everythings fine

Hey guys, new to XDA here.
My phone is currently experiencing green screen. It started 2 days ago. I have been using dark mode since I got this phone last year and two days ago I noticed that the screen color isnt as vibrant. Imagine a black screen with a bit of white color. I also noticed that the lower right of my screen got really hot.
Then I restarted my phone a couple of times and I also noticed that during the Huawei animation, green spots started to display on the screen. Also, the whole screen starts to green when unlocking using fingerprint.
I turned off my screen the qhole day and opened it before I went to sleep and the issue went away. But right now, the screen would randomly flicker and display green color.
Im not sure if this is a display issue. But I have read that Mate 20 suffers this as well. I wanted to ask here first before I bring this to the service center.
Anyone experiencing this as well? How did you fix it?
Thanks!
Ok, so my phone is experiencing the greenscreen right now and I dont think it will disappear anytime soon. I did, however, install the Device Info HW app on my phone. There is this 'shell_back' on the 'Thermal' tab that had risen to 41 degrees. Any idea what that is?
so my phone yesterday randomly got a stuck ghost touch on one pixel on the phone then it was fixed randomly
so today i saw a black line on the screen and also the phone touch screen is touching on the same pixel on the black line
this problem popped suddenly
any known solution?
ps i dont have xiaomi warranty
It seems to me that physical damage (hardware) screen, perhaps exerted a lot of pressure on it
