Hello everyone,
Just got my new note10 and tested the spen and it made me disappointed. In comparison to my note9 the sensitivity is obviously lower and i need to press a little bit to write but on note9 just a fine touch with screen does the writing.
Anyone has the same problem or any solution or is it a normal issue on note10?
did you install any screen protector?

With or without screen protector the sensitivity is low
I compared the both pens on my note10 screen and the one for note9 acts better.

hello
I just bought a Belk cover and found out that it has magnetic strips
and I havent bought the Note 10.1 yet, but soon
I want to know, will it affect the sensitivity when using the S-pen, like how it did using the Note 1???
Thanks

I think it won't affect cos samsung's own case for note 10.1 has magnet also

I bought case with 6 magnets and had to do surgery . Removed them . Pen was useless with them on . When i open cover I hear pen removal sound . I put velcro with super glue and now everything works great . Looks great too ,
I have a Poetic Case which has magets and I have no problems.
The Galaxy note 10.1 doesnt have a proximity sensor but on the packaging of the belk case it says the tablet will wake up and sleep automatically, can someone who has this case confirm if it works?
I've been trying to find out what the screen on the tab 2 10.1 is made of, either plastic or glass because my plastic screen protector is reducing the screen's sensitivity to touch and it causes a drag lag in the touch screen. has anyone ever seen a gt2 screen shatter like glass or just crack like plastic? I can't find reliable information anywhere.
It is glass

For me, it feels like glass and polymer mixed together.
The screen doesn't feel like it's 100% glass but it does shatter like one on this drop test video but with a Tab 2 10.1
It was in a post online saying it was thirty own glass blend...pictures also show it shattering...

Does anyone know if you can ruin the touch screen sensitivity by bending the screen of the nexus 5?

What type of bending will you be doing? any sort of extreme bending will not only ruin the digitizer but also the glass
if you want a phone that bends look @ LG G Flex
My little Cousion was bending it on opposite sides of the phone. She's young and I took it away from her and now it seems like the digitizer is a little off. The touch seems not as smooth as before.

I recommend also doing the multi touch test along with the single touch test

All the touches are registering, it feels like its not as smooth maybe im just imagining it, but could it lose it sensitivity from bending the phone I am debating on sending it into lg for repair.

Thanks for the reply!
Anyone who migrated from an S2 notice that the S3 screen gets a dirtier, more quickly, than the S2 did?
My S2 screen always seemed to stay surprisingly free of smudges - so much so that I was surprised. Since I got my S3 it seems like I'm always wanting to wipe it off.
Anyone else noticed this?
Anyone else found a way to keep the S3 screen from getting all smudged? (Aside from using the dial when possible.)
Thanks.
I didn't own an S2, but I haven't noticed a lot of smudges on the S3. Of course, I don't have anything to compare it to.

Thanks...I'm almost tempted to go to a store and rub my fingers on an S2 to see if I'm just looking back at the S2 w/rose colored glasses. It just seems like the S2 screen was much more resistant smudging from oil from the skin. I do know my S3 screen gets smudged a lot more than I'd like it to.
Yes, I noticed it seems to be less resistant to fingerprints than my S2 was. Wiping the glass is always a pain too as you invariably start causing the watch to change clock settings as it detects pressure on the screen!

Hah! I'm not imagining it!
I'm thinking about trying a screen protector just for this issue. I prefer the flexible type (not the hard tempered glass) for my phones and may try the same on my watch.
Hi Guys, I see that this has been an issue with the mate 9. I was wondering if any one is experiencing low sensitivity, especially near the edges with the mate 9 Pro?
No problem here...and I am using a really thick glas protector.

Which protector are you using?
Yes I am on my pd especially since last update

For me, there are certainly times when I've been surprised that a touch hasn't been registered - can obviously be annoying when you're not in the habit of checking every word when you're typing! There doesn't seem to be any part of the screen that is worse than any other for me.

I found this setting through Quick Shortcut. Enabled glove mode as well. On Mate 9 so not entirely sure Pro is identical. Definitely better. Have glass screen saver on as well.

Thanks for the info! I enabled glove mode and it does seem to improve sensitivity. It will probably be a while before I have a real sense of its impact.
The pressure slider sensitivity seems to be unique to the mate 9 - I do not see it anywhere on the mate 9 pro.

Did you install the app Quick Shortcut from the App Store? Then add a shortcut to the Settings/Pressure Sensitivity and then toggle the shortcut that gets created? It is hidden until you do this.
Glove mode is under the smart assist setting on the pd
