Hi,
Anyone know if the Oppo Reno Ace specifically the limited edition will work in US T-Mobile and AT&T?
Thank you kindly in advance
it should be fine according to the docs.
it has most of the bands (Tmobile uses 2/4/5/12/66/71)
these are the bands on the phone 4G: LTE FDD: Bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/32/66; LTE TDD: Bands 34/38/39/40/41
Here in Massachusetts I got 4gLte on TMobile so it works fine cheers :good:

Thanks for your help. The att link you provided tells me that the device Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE device AT&T offers is SGH-I497 whereas the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE device that I am getting is gt-n8020
Per gsmarena samsung_galaxy_note_lte_10_1_n8020-5151 seems to support LTE but the bands seem different from samsung_galaxy_tab_2_10_1_cdma-5592.php
AT&T LTE seems to support Band 17 - 700MHz and Band 4 - 1700 MHz whereas the device GT-N8020 seem to support 4G (LTE 1800/ 2600MHz) and 3.5G (HSPA+ 42.2Mbps)
I suspect GT-N8020 will get only HSPA+ which is up to 4x faster than AT&T's 3G not LTE which is 10x faster than 3G.

I am wondering the same thing....
AT&T Uses: 1700Mhz Band4 and 700Mhz Band17. Samsung showing 4G/LTE 1800, 4G/LTE 2600. So my guess would be no. Still thinking this would be a better option than the AT&T version of the tab 2.
You find anything else out?
Curious to see if it'll work for a tmobile sim....

Hi... Working with a brand new Moto G XT1548. Stock Rom stock everything.
Simple question is this, how do I get this sim Unlocked to accept any sim card. Right now its apparently a virgin mobile phone and says (nationwide sprint 4g lte network) on the box; which I assume is how it would work in the states. But I am not in the states.
Can anyone help me out here? Or just point me in the right direction.

Ok Virgin Mobile/Sprint is CDMA, the sim is for 4g LTE so this not a GSM phone. I suppose you could try contacting carrier you want to use and see if they can switch it for you, but I doubt it's possible/worth hassle.
All Moto G 2015's support basic GSM service, but have limited bands for HSPA and LTE, the XT1548 has very limited...
CDMA: 800, 850, 1900 Mhz
GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 Mhz
UMTS/HSPA+: 850, 1700, 1900 Mhz
LTE: B2 (1900), B4 (1700), B5 (850), B12 (700), B17 (700), B25 (1900), B26 (850), LTE-TDD: B41 (2500)
To unlock the SIM you have to contact Virgin Mobile or buy a code from an unlock service online.

Have you had any success in using it in Nigeria here? I'm expecting the same phone soon and I have some confidence it could work since it supports GSM bands. However, if you've been able to use it I could use some help in how you did it. If not yet successful, just hang on, I'll figure it out when mine arrives. I helped get the Moto X Sprint unlocked here on XDA.

You will get 2G GSM service only (GSM900, GSM1800)... at best... No 3G, WCDMA/HSPA, or LTE. The Sprint versions are "tuned" to Sprint service, and not to global or other regions, and there is no unlock for the other bands. The Sprint Moto G 2015 is probably the worst possible you could get, unless you have Sprint service.

I see... Just like the Verizon Moto E 2015, which when unlocked could only get 2G service and data... Well, it's better than not working at all overseas... Thanks.

Maybe... The Sprint version is just just limited in hardware to very specific bands and frequencies for Sprints network and basic GSM service for roaming needs.
Good luck.
I think the main difference between Chinese V10 and European/US View 10 is the LTE bands. Do you know if it's possible to unlock band 20 on the Chinese version?
Can the CMDA be used on verizon?
No. No Verizon or Sprint.
Must have t-mobile or at&t correct?
Yes, and any smaller carrier that depends on their bands.

Before buying an unlocked phone to use on a US GSM network, you need to research the 4G FDD radio bands used by the carrier and make sure the phone you want supports those FDD radio bands. (Verizon users, even when Verizon abandons CDMA in 2019, you won't be able to go out and buy any phone with the correct FDD bands and that supports VoLTE to use on their network. Verizon has made it clear that it will only provision phones that it has tested and certified.) Here's a link with US and Canadian carrier bands. https://www.signalbooster.com/pages/what-are-the-cellular-frequencies-of-cell-phone-carriers-in-usa-canada

Best I can do is recommend you search this page by the carrier in India that you use, it will tell you if you'll get 2G, 3G and LTE with the Honor View 10, TD-LTE BLN-AL10. https://www.frequencycheck.com/compatibility/QePYuJz/huawei-honor-6x-dual-sim-td-lte-bln-al10/india

That one is incorrect
Says the l09 don't support lte in America
It does
As far as India
Look at these bands
Will they support T-Mobile LTE band 71
Yea, I'm 99% sure. Since it will have Snapdragon 845 like the Galaxy S9- that supports b71. We should also see VoLTE and WiFi calling like in all other OnePlus phones.
I read this on another site. It doesn't looked like it

That references the OnePlus 5T. I think they have just taken last year's model and updated it as a place holder. I don't think it's official information.

Like how @holz75 mentioned, check the spec in Oneplus website.
Does anyone know if it will support dual VoLTE standby for 2 sims?
This is from OnePlus website. Click on the Check Carrier Compatability link
Came here to ask a similar question. Now that the details and specs have all been released... I've always had carrier phones, currently with Tmobile. Using the op6 in north america(florida) will this phone get the same kind of reception and network speeds as a carrier branded phone would, like an s9 or lg bought from a tmobile store?
Thanks
Brad

It should be very comparable. 4x4 MIMO, with 256 QAM and cat 16 LTE. I'm in North Florida too and the OP5 had good reception here.
Anyone tested to see if we can connect to band 71 on T-Mobile
http://www.spectrumgateway.com/600-mhz-spectrum#phones
T-mobile Band 71. One plus 6 listed.
Everything related to Band 71 from Tmobile is listed here.
No band 3 which kinda sucks for T-Mobile

I'm in PA but I can tell you my wife has an s9+ and although her reception is fine, mines better on the op6 on metro (which is T-Mobile). As for band 71, I don't have much of that deployed near me but I've used most other bands listed on oneplus' website so I think it'll work fine.

Why does this matter? I'm on T-Mobile and OnePlus 6 works like a charm. In full bar areas, I'm getting 100 mbps
Thinking of importing the Pixel 7 Pro from the US to India since India doesn't have a 256GB or 512GB version.
Will I be able to use dual sim in India with VoLTE?

So VoLTE and 5G won't work and neither will dual sim?
Will installing the Indian ROM work?
According to youtube link, it may work but u need to buy unlock phone only and it should be bought with full payment with no emis
And regarding warranty only Google support would answer best.
5g update will be included in December with feature update
The model sold in India is GP4BC, and the one in the US is GE2AE. The main difference is the radio bands, but I believe it should work fine.
For example, the GP4BC model supports LTE band 32, but GE2AE does not. However, from what I see, LTE band 32 isn't used in India. In any case, carriers support multiple LTE bands, so you should be fine for LTE coverage with the US model GE2AE.
For 5G, GP4BC supports two additional sub-6 bands (75 & 76). From what I see online, these 5G sub-6 bands aren't used by any carriers in India as well, so 5G sub-6 should also work fine if you buy the US GE2AE model.
