I am running a converted TMobile on 10.0.1 and the dark mode keeps change with with the accent color whenever it wants. Anyone else having this issue?
I'm having the iusse when I connect to Android Auto. I have dark mode enabled, but when I connect to Android auto in my car and disconnect, the whole thing is turned to white again. Very annoying.

Same here.

I have noticed the same issue with Android Auto and Android 10.. If you turn the car off with the headlights on or dimmer on, the phone will switch to dark mode and stay.
When Android Auto is running, with Dimmer/lights off, the phone settings page and others will be white. If you put the phone to Dark mode again, it puts Android Auto into night mode.
Only way to keep the phone in dark mode, no matter what, is to put Android Auto into night mode via Developer settings. But Map is hard to read during the day lol.
This stupid issue happens in both wired and wireless on my Kenwood deck.

I have tried a few auto turn off apps on my transformer while screen is off but WIFI still stays on. These Apps work well on My Samsung galaxy.
Another thing I noticed is that everytime I set the WIFI disconnect policy to turn off wifi when screen is off. The setting goes back to "never". Not sure how it gets reset, and maybe thats why these apps do not work.
Any ideas?
revolver parts wit revolver rom, the revolver parts app let you turn of wifi automatic
I am on stock rom for now, until I read thru all of the forum and get comfortable with switching rom. I am rooted atleast and have CWM installed.
So is there any other app?
Auto airplane mode from the market. It turned off for me.
Try with Tasker
will try auto airplane mode but I need something that turns off wifi when screen goes off.
Also, afraid to buy tasker before I know it works.

Auto Airplane Mode will turn WiFi off when screen shut off.
I use it, work great. The one I use for some reason is not in the market any more
but there are others.
TRIED auto airplane and did not work.
I think the issue is that something always changes the setting to never turn wifi off . Instead of what I keep on setting it to disable wifi when screen is off.
Is there a app that is changing the wifi policy settings>?
green power app fixed my problem. found this out in another thread.
I'm using tasker with a profile to turn airplane mode on 5 minutes after display goes down. It doesn't sleep if there are certain apps which require internet connection (tunein radio for example) and turns off airplane mode for 1 minute every 30 minutes.
I'd never used tasker before, i own an Android phone too, but i found it simply amazing!
Seems like you have an app that wants to keep wifi on. If I were you, I'd try to get to the bottom of this and figure out which app is causing this issue to occur. In fact, the culprit sounds fishy.
I have more than one watch. And when I don't use my Huawei watch 2 I have tested to set it into watch mode. When I want to use it again I turn it on again to normal mode. The watch starts app as it does when it has been powered off. Back again and running I have to restart my watch again before the notifications will work again. Must be some kind of a bug
And another sad thing is that after restart of the watch, it has forget that I have disabled tilt to wake screen. So now it is enabled again and I have to disabled again.
I’ve turned on developer options and turned night mode to “always on”, but have found every time I turn back to it, it’s switched to “always off”. Seems rebooting the phone flips it to off. Anyone else run into this? Thoughts on a fix? I have display on dark theme and messages on dark theme.
Side note, I also can’t get discover to go to dark theme.
Quite frustrating...
Appears to be an issue with the Always on Display. Disabling that should resolve the issue.

by the way feel free to spam their support email as this issue has been going on too long!

Solution : enable developer options, and enable keep screen on while charging.
yup screen on = no Always on display..
though also battery and burn in aint good...
Screen will remain on, but brightness will drop to minimum level as the phone is left idle. When looking at the phone while driving, it looks almost off, the home screen is barely visible.
would be great if someone could build a tasker or Automate task that turned off AOD when AA is running.. though you prob need Root..
Anyone having a issue after C62 update of it just now not connecting at all?
jipp here.
android auto refuses the connection after the update.
My head unit is trying to connect while oppo is asking which usb type should be choosen (load/ android auto/mtp or so)
Selecting android auto results in a connection abort and a short vibration.
Already cleared app data, cache and even reinstalled android auto with no effort.
wow oppo really sucks..
just got CPH2025_11_C.53 - android auto is working flawless again

Hi guys,
I have a Find X2 Lite with CPH2005VF_11_C_78..
after the android 11 update android auto start to freeze switching apps (ex from maps to spotify a 15 seconds black sceen) or when navigating has to turn direction (the cursor start flickering and after a while the navigation resume).
Is this a similar problem to yours? any suggestion?
my oppo f1s always turn off even after restart, how to fix my boss?
Images on the lock screen, crash the Android Auto. It is an OS problem. Here is what to do, till the problem is solved :
-Go to Settings, Security, Smart Lock and and your car a trusted device. That way you have your phone unlocked while driving and fingerprint disappears.
(You can also remove fingerprint from lock screen by going to Settings, Passwords & Biometrics, Fingerprint, Screen-off unlock and select off, but then you have to wake up your phone before being able to use fingerprint)
-Go to Settings, ..Always-On Display, Always-On Display and disable it. (You can also select Always-On Display with battery saver, which turns off image after some seconds, but on those seconds, the Andriod Auto is crashed)
@[email protected]$#[email protected]& OnePlus, OPPO and Color OS...
Same thing at OnePlus 8T with OxygenOS 12 (which is ColorOS 12).
After update to 12 I still have some problems with AA. Now phone is totally unusable (totally laggy or black screen) when connected to AA and after when disconnected - must wait ca. 5 min or restart phone.
But... After reading this tread I turn off AOD. And stil same. Then I turn off also fingerprint reader at turned off display. And... Everything works perfectly
Will test AOD on, FP on and Smart Lock at my car. But OPPO is a joke...
Hello XDA Community,
i get desperate every time i start android auto and night falls. The Dark Mode does not turn on automatically. In the developer options of android auto I have already set controlled by vehicle to smartphone. Every time i restart android auto it shows white mode. That's very bad. Some people have had this problem in the past, but I couldn't find a solution. Everything is up to date and of course with a pixel 7 pro. Is there an app where you can do tasks? that you have a link or app that can set this manually every time?
Theres a setting in the AA settings to pick dark mode light or automatic, works all the time
Yes, this is what i mean. Bur it is not switching automatically
