[iOS 10] Ringtone and Notification sounds - OnePlus 7 Pro Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hey Guys,
if someone wants the iOS10 default ringtone and some nice notification/alarm sounds of it, I made 2 zips I extracted from Alexis ROM (Galaxy S6) a few years ago.
If you want the default ringtone, just download iOS10 ringtones.zip below and extract the folder with root explorer in
Code:
/system/media/audio/ringtones
and give the ringtone permission 0644 (rw-r-r). Reboot phone and enjoy.
Same for notifications: download zip, and extract it to
Code:
/system/media/audio/notifications
and give all notifications 0644 (rw-r-r) permisision also. Reboot once again.
If this was helpful for you, I would be happy if you hit THANKS :good:

Sure do. Tried 2 different file managers but no joy. No worries though, I was able to select and use the notifications i wanted by applying from the relevant apks directly. So all good.

Unzip the files and save them in a file folder that you have in the root of the memory, I have saved it in my Zedge folder, then when configuring the sound you choose storage tone and there you have them, I am not root said on the way

You have to extract the files inside the specific folders and then change the permissions for it.

Check Magisk if your filemanagers have superuser rights.
I got no problems at all. Downloaded the files, extracted in download folder en copied the files into the right folders.

No difference bro.

Than do it in TWRP or Mount System R/W common logic.

Looks like this my phone problem, I can't change permission of any of my files and I am rooted.
I don't have twrp.
Figured it out.
Thx

You guys do realise that you can literally extract the zip to your Ringtones folder (/sdcard/Ringtones) on your phone and then you can use them straight away, no root or Magisk needed, right?
Just tried it, works like a charm!

Not just mp3, any sound file like aac, or OGG which is in these zips!

The path for the ui sound is actually /system/product/audio/ringtones
On android 10

On the ringtone part I experience a gap after every ring.

How to change the default call picture?

Could someone help me with this? Is it a regular PNG, is it a apk, or what? I have no idea at all of where to find it...
The picture I'm talking about is the Android that is on the screen when you make calls to numbers that don't have a contact photo.
Any and all help is, of course appreciated.
i would love to be able to change that, hope its possible
its a png that needs to be changed in the phone apk
I think it's in framework-res.apk
Check /system/framework/framework-res.apk, unzip it and look inside, it should be somewhere there.
@ McCurt: Where is that located?
@Genius: Ok, I'll check that now
It is in apps>phone.apk
res>drawable-hdpi
image is called phone_default_icon.png
needs to be 480x618 attached to the one I am using... not sure why it attached as a .jpg so here is a screen shot

Hey thank you. I found it, and I've edited, zipped up, and signed the apk file, but, for some reason, it won't let me install it.
Is there anyone who can take a look over this and see what I did wrong?
I'm using HTC Sync to push the file through to install it, but it's not letting me do it on the phone end.

Try this:
Code:
adb remount
adb shell rm /system/app/Phone.apk
adb push *your apk's name* /system/app/Phone.apk
I don't know about doing it as an installable apk file. I take a flashable .zip, open it (not extract... just double click into it) browse to the apk, drag and drop the new .png, and close it back up. Then I just flash the zip using Rom Manager.
EDIT: I see Geniusdog showed you how to push it

You cant flash this through recovery because its not a zip file. Best thing to do is get a program like androidcommander and copy the file over manually. (the program does the adb commands for you)
the file needs to go in system/app and cant be installed like a regular apk.
and you don't need an unlocked bootloader, just full root access

Sorry, but could you explain further? I have root, and copy file to system/app wit root explorer, and cant install it...And I lost system bar now...Any help?
I can't get this to work either.
Androidcommander says I don't have root access even though I'm rooted, and the FAQ infers that I'll have to wipe my phone completely with a new flash and a modified boot.img to get Root Access (which would also require me to learn about editing ROM images).
I did get Busybox though, and I backed up my SystemUI.apk from before... after killing it off from the system/app folder I noticed I can at least restore the old one by installing it as a normal application... but getting this new one simply hasn't been working for me.
Ugh... patience is wearing thin.

Boom, sweet victory! I got it working... just had to drive myself near insanity with Android Terminal Emulator.
Added BusyBox to the list of SuperUser Access apps, got Terminal Emulator from the Android Market, moved the SystemUI.apk to the root of my SDCARD and entered the following commands:
su
cd /sdcard/
mount -o remount rw /system/ (somehow [mount -o remount,rw /system/] didn't work because of the comma)
cp -f SystemUI.apk /system/app
...and now I can do something I've been wanting to do for ages... NotificationToggle... get the **** off my system
Got it to work through insecure adb...What i did was install insecure adb via the apk (this cuases your phone to reboot after installing) , typed in "adb remount" in cmd and the simply used this command: adb push SystemUI.apk /system/app/SystemUI.apk.
NOTE - You will have to put the system ui.apk into the same folder as adb and browse to that folder using command prompt.
I'm fairly new to this stuff so no idea if what I did is correct...BUT it is working for me now

Change T-Mobile Wifi Calling icon for Sensation 4G

This icon has bugged forever... and I finally took care of it...
I couldn't find this for Sensation 4G... so I took from Galaxy SII forum and with a little guidance from XDA member KaneHusky got it done
So if you are on T-Mobile, and rely on wifi calling like I do, and want an ICS syle icon that is always in upper left corner... this is for you
(I am running CM9 RC1)
Before:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After:
1. Use root explorer to copy wifi calling .apk from system\app to root of sd card
(In CM9 file is: HTC-PYRTM-ICS-4.0.1-2.3-49986-4.3.apk)
2. Mount to PC and use 7-Zip to explore .apk (dont extract or mess with anything, just explore)
3. Explore to the folder: res\drawable-hdpi\
4. make sure icons are saved and renamed accordingly:
blue: "ic_status_notify.png"
green: "status_icon_incall.png"
5. Right-click drag to Copy the two attached icon files into the folder (they will overwrite ugly ass icons)
6. Copy over original .apk in system\app (backup original to be safe)
reboot into recovery, wipe cache, (i also fixed permissions although I don't think it's necessary) then reboot and enjoy the cleaner look
Boom
UPDATE:
Sorry Everyone.... didn't realize the attached images are renamed when inserted into a thread...
which makes my whole post meaningless as they will only overwrite the proper icons if named the same.
the step by step above has been elaborated on to hopefully alleviate this issue.

Updated APK
Hello,
Thanks first to Da_Sheezy for making this, I really like the new icons.
In the spirit of making things easier and the implied approval of Da_Sheezy, I am attaching the modified apk, so people don't have to do the whole 7zip thing.
In short, here are the steps:
1. Turn off Wifi in your phone, this is just a precaution.
2. Download the attached file.
3. Save it to root directory of SD card.
4. With Root Explorer, [/B]copy original apk (for backup purposes) anywhere in the SD card, but the root directory.[/B]
5. Now, copy the downloaded file to system/app, it will ask you if you want to replace the file, say yes. You phone will freeze for a couple of seconds and reboot automatically.
6. After rebooting, go back to system/app using Root Explorer and change permissions to rw-r--r--
7. Reboot your phone one more time and you are done.
I hope that this helps some people. I am currently running CM9 RC2 and it is working like a charm.
Thanks again to the OP for this.

[Q] Reinstalling Google Play Store on Android 2.3.7 - Please help!! :(

Hi everybody,
I recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy Ace running Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread, and have been uninstalling useless apps.
I noticed there were two versions of the Play Store on my phone: One was the original version, stored in the root, and the other was the v3.10.10 update, not stored in the root. I had the stupid idea of uninstalling both, and then reinstalling v3.10.10 in order to free up storage space...
I found the APK file for v3.10.10, and installed it onto my phone, but now whenever I open the app it just force closes!
Please, what am I supposed to do? I want Google Play Store to work again!! :'(
How did ya install.?
You pushed it to system/app?
With right permissions and reboot.

I downloaded the APK file for Google Play v3.10.10 from androidpolice.com/2012/12/13/download-latest-google-play-store-3-10-10/#download. Then I just transferred it to my phone through USB and installed it with my phone.
The app installed fine but whenever I try to open it it force-closes...
Try to Do it as I said above. I hope you know how to set permissions and stuff.
Uninstall what you installed now, push the apk to system/app and set permissions (rw-r--r--)

Grab a root browser.
Locate where the apk is, copy it and paste it in system/app. (make sure you mount it as r/w. It will be in settings or at the top)
Now scroll down and find the app there, long press, tap "permissions".

2. Unzip the vrthemeADBversion zip to your sdcard. Rename folder to vrtheme
3. Put the readme.txt on your PC where you use adb.
4. Download appropriate NavBar Gone zip. Unzip and copy the system folder that is inside the vrtheme folder to the root of your sdcard.
5. On the root folder of your phone, find the data folder and create a folder inside it named tmp
6. Copy the vrtheme folder you earlier extracted to your sdcard to newly created data/tmp folder (/data/tmp/vrtheme)
7. On PC, with your phone connected and in file transfer mode, open CMD prompt and type "adb devices" without quotes. If your serial number comes up you can proceed.
8. Copy and paste the command lines from the readme.txt (include quotes)
adb shell su -c "mount -o rw,remount /system"
Hit enter
First time you will be promoted by SuperSU to give adb permission.
Copy and paste the second line in readme.txt
adb shell su -c sh /data/tmp/vrtheme/installtheme.sh
There is also a Mod installer zip. If on Windows operating system you can unzip it where adb is running and run the bat file instead of typing or copying and pasting the commands.
Wait until everything runs, after a pause of a few seconds your phone will reboot and your NavBar should be gone.

To those who want to use pie control or any other alternative without the interference of the stock navbar, they can flash this to get rid of the navbar

A 8.1 mod had been posted. If you are rooted but cannot run TWRP, there is an alternate method of installing this in the op.

Try flashing this AFTER the pixel mod is installed. I don't think anything is modded in the SystemUI.apk but icons and framework-res.apk but colors but I'm not sure. This should put a restore zip on your sdcard in a folder and zip called ozop.
