Since 2017 my Mate 9 doesn't find any updates, I have contacted many Huawei service, different locations.
- that if there is an update, wait for more time
- that there is not, that there is no "update"
Huawei official facebook He ****s, laughing, at my query and always evades me
Maybe someone here "with the same compilation number" has received updates with?
my mate 9 is single Sim and still runs 7.0 EMUI 5.0
I just want to be sure there is no update for my build number, Once I can confirm that, I will see how to fix them.

I am new to Huawei and just bought a Huawei P8 which has software version GRA-L09V100R001C469B111. Googling makes me think it is an old version of software due to the last 4 digits of the build (B111), but I have not found a clear way to upgrade the telephone.
The Updater utility does not find any available upgrade. So, I would like to know if I can upgrade it to the latest version and how. Should I do it in steps, meaning loading different versions of software until I reach the last one? Or I could directly install the last one? Any way, where could I find those versions?

Hi recently I jumped from my note 5 to a mate L29 international version with 4gb Ram.
Haven't received any updates since purchase on 5 Jan. . I have heard in the news that the honor is getting regular updates.
But what about the mate 8

Usualy the AL10 (Asian Unlocked Version) is getting the updates first... right now they are deploying B156.
I am sure the L29 will soon be in line, as it was recently launched;

You should try app"firmware finder " to get your answer quick. But don’t use the update functionality of "firmware finder". Use it only to see if a update will be in progress.
The update is not released for my device, either. We had better wait for the official update.

Mate 8 general Forum is where you'll find your answer but be careful. You may get a lot of battery drain. I updated to nougat and didn't like it at all because of battery drain. Downgraded to emui 4.1 and although it's a little better, im still getting battery drain so I'm downgrading again back emui 4.
