My phone got stuck at MI logo after i tried to update it to the latest update.
I tried my luck, with wiping cache and cleared the data.
PS: I did root my phone before Updating Mi 4i!

Reflash your Rom via fastboot
You tried to update your phone with root, there's your problem. You need to refresh your room with fastboot.

or u could just download fastboot rom just in case
Cheers~
Always remember, flash the TWRP recovery also for the Mi4i. Just in case something goes wrong like this. Whenever you root your MIUI phone, NEVER update using the OTA. Download the update package from the site and flash manually.
Hi !
I installed TWRP to root my honor view 10 3/4 weeks ago.
Today I installed an update. And since then, the phone won't boot past TWRP (which I can access) or Huawei eRecovery mode.
When I land in the eRecovery mode it offers me to shutdown, reboot, or connect to wifi and do a factory reset. When I attempt the factory reset it tells me that downloading package info failed.
I tried to do a reset from TWRP without success gives me ERROR 9. I also tired to install the stock rom (update.zip) from TWRP and I also get ERROR 9.
I'm a complete noob when it comes to phones. Anyone have an idea of a solution ?
Thank you for reading !

Whats your model, if it is L09 then get the stock ramdisk image from magisk thread in development section and also search for recovery image. Flash it via fastboot and boot normally.
Never ever try ota on rooted phone.

When I try to boot the phone it displays the message that the phone in unlocked and should no be trusted, it shows the honor booting screen and after a few seconds shuts down and the process is repeating.
If i try to press the volume up key when booting it takes me to huawei eRecovery where I can either shutdown the phone or download recovery but it fails everytime.
Thanks
Try flash the No check recovery, boot into and wipe cache. Then reboot
Powered by View 10
Try this
1. Flash stock ramdisk img
2. Flash stock recovery img
3. Reboot to recovery with button combination ie; power and vol down together
4. Wipe data and cache
5. Reboot.
Hopefully it'll work if it doesn't flash system.img after 1 & 2 steps and follow the next steps
Hi please specify model
And what update you installed...
If the update was genuinely meant for phone I believe a data and cache partation format should fix this..
I hope you are atleast seeing the honor bootscreen...
Specify model so that we could point you to correct system.img
Also did twrp gave any errors formatting cache memory?
same here
BKL-L09
now i can play OOS but i can't boot twrp
this https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/help/helpqualcomm-clash-dump-mode-t3842994

i was stuck in that mode too, then i reinstalled all the drivers and used the msm tool,

dude you use msmtool
from this link or not https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/tool-msmdownloadtool-v4-0-international-t3798892
if you install from this DUMP is clear?
install when the phone is shutdown right?
what helped me is flashing 5.1.11 boot image and then booting into 8.83 blu spark recovery
also, beware of kernel panic which may be caused because of enabled and active mtp at twrp

Put into download mode and just flash TWRP with Odin, leave Magisk alone until TWRP is successfully installed. You can install Magisk from within TWRP afterwards.
and with twrp in place what do i do? to find and flash fresh system? it would be the best if i could somehow get to pin screen and decrypt data normally..i messed up big
SOLVED
i reinstalled twrp and flashed custom los system

In that case it would be possible to open the botloader again? If so, try this, it is obvious that you flashed an Android 10 rom ..
step 1: reinstall the twrq maunofrio Q and flash a rom oxygen of android pie the last one if possible 9.0.9 (this only to be able to change twrp, the same will still be in bootlop, but now if you get the twrp of android 9 )
step 2: flashea twrp enchilada 3.3.1-2 img, already in recovery flashea twrp 3.3.1-2.zip and restart in recovery.
step 3: download exactly the rom 34 that would be the rom 9.0.6 I think (OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_032_all_1906251226_0033d1285cf04df0.zip) you flash and do not install anything else you just start the system .. nothing more as long as I stay in bootloop I do that and it has always saved me. pdt, I speak Spanish sorry for my translation
Have you got backup of your EFS partition? If yes you can try use MSM tool and SMT Donwload mode. As password use: te123. It will reflash your phone completely, but there will be no modem, imei, wifi, bluetooth, etc. Don't do that if you didn't backup your modem/efs.
To use SMT Donwload mode you have to click Verify and after that select SMT. After that MSM change border to red. Check also SMT menu in the upper left corner and set checkboxes of all your COM ports in new opened window.
Why not format data. That will fix phone!
