Hello
(Original firmware BLN-L21C)
On my honor 6x i found two different Imei between dc-unlocker and Mui system.
The Imei on Mui system is same original box. (Imei 1 - Imei 2)
The Imei dc-unlocker is different (reading under boot-loader)
Is it normal or something is wrong ?
The phone was debranded to Oreo, later rebranded to original stock firmware. BLN-L21C.
My original unlock code was working under original firmware but not now.
Does problem is Imei ?
Anyone can help me please ?
thanks
Since you flashed an oeminfo from another device, you now have its imeis.
new BL code should be tied to that new imeis.
IMEIS shown in EMUI are cosmetic infos.

If still on nougat, hcu-client could help you repair your imeis to original.
It can also set and read a new BL code for your 6x.
thanks for this answer.
I'm damned ! Hcu don't work under windows 10
Is there any other solution please ?

It does work on win10. You re missing some Microsoft visual basic packages.
Nop, so far I think hcu-client (or one of its forks like hde-tool or sigkill) are the only tools available for repairing your imeis to original.
Another way would be to use a backup of your original oeminfo... (but I guessed you don t have it).
I just have a backup Twrp Nougat but as my boot-loader is blocked i can't do anything....
Now i just have oeminfo BLN-L21C432 found on XDA....
Don't original personal phone.

Hard reset works
A hard reset (factory reset + cache wipe) did not work for me. I'm still at BalongC52B311

No, I was not able to solve it. There is just no way because you can't get the right files. And any other method is, in my opinion, to risky.

I flashed different original firmware packages downloaded from Huawei, some had vendor files in them that would change the region.
I'm stuck at this one: - Southeast Asia (Malaysia, India): hw / spcseas
You can check the the info by open engineering mode dialing *#*#2846579#*#*.
Go to Network Information > Country/Vendor Info
I found the following region codes are available:
Russia: hw / ru
Southeast Asia (Malaysia, India): hw / spcseas
Pakistan: hw / meafnaf
Belarus: MTS / by
Europe: hw / eu
What I could find, on Russian web sites, is that you can do the change manual by rooting your device and edittion an oeminfo file and adding an additional file (forgot the name).

Currently you have Asian region you can change it if you want by flashing different region vendor file for balong bug all you just need to do is edit a build prop file.
But for that you need unlocked bootloader and root.
First unlock your bootloader later I will guide you next step.

Unlocking the bootloader and getting root ist not a problem.
What are the steps after that?
Which files to edit and what changes to make?
Thanks,

Hello everyone.
Sorry if my questions are silly, I'm quite new here... and I need some explanations.
I bought a phone ( reconditioned, on PriceMinister) that I'm having some trouble with.
The main issue is that IMEI (MEID) written on the back of the phone does not match the one shown when i dial *#06#. Still, the S/N is the same.
Also the model written on the back ( SM-G920F ) does not match the one when I enter Odin mode, ( SM-G920P)
1) Is it safe to name my IMEI N° here or elsewere on the net ?
2) Is it possible that I changed this IMEI myself, being unaware of what I was doing while flashing TWRP, or some ROM that I randomly tried ??
3) What tools can I use in order to know what is really the model of my phone ( TWRP SM-G920F alias zerolfte does not work, but zerofltespr does. Still the Pi3 ROM works when I state the model being SM-920F !)
Thank you for your suggestions.

Greetings and welcome to xda. You shouldn't share your IMEI number anywhere on the internet and you are right to be suspicious, youe IMEI number shouldn't be changed. This app here
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo&hl=en_GB
will give you all the original info on your phone
Good Luck

Hi all,
I was running a custom ROM for a while (KangVIP) and decided to revert back to stock. I missed it up and I bricked it. so kept trying several methods and finally managed to make it work via dc-unlocker. However initially I wasn't sure which was my original stock rom version. I'm in the middle east so I tried all the different nxt-l29c185xxx versions. nothing worked out, so I tried the second method of dc-unlocker using NXT-AL10 factory firmware and the phone worked. so I debranded the phone using SRKTools, then I flashed different l29c185 stock roms and it seemed that it worked out. However the issue I'm facing now is I'm getting SIM network unlock message when restarting, which shouldn't be the case since the phone originally is unlocked when bought. so I checked through the manufacturer mode and the Bootloader version there shows NXT-C900B120-fastboot
I'm not sure what this means. I tried several ROMs using SRKTools and ItalianKnife and still this didn't change although the build number in the phone changes.
any ideas how to completely revert this back?
appreciate your help
any suggestions..... things I should try??

Hi.
As you said you are on B200 so your phone is marshmallow and it is good because SRKtool just can rebrand Marshmallow version.
My suggestion is to use SRKtools and rebrand your phone to correct brand (NXT-L29C636 or NXT-L29C185)
If you do it correctly, I bet it will work.
Have a nice time.

I've used dc-unlocker to get passed the unlock code. Now I have the phone on L29C185B520; however everything in the phone is working perfectly except the sim; there is totally no signal. I have checked the sim in other phones and it's working fine.
I took the phone to a Huawei repair center and they said its a problem with the mainboard which needed to be changed and it'll cost around $200 USD
I believe it's a problem of modemvm partitions. is there a way to fix it?
Hi guys,
I have flashed my phone with H990N while my phone is H990DS, what happened is I lost IMEI numbers.
Now I can see IMEIs as Zeros.
I have been searching for a way to return them back but without success. I have the numbers written behind the battery, but don't know how to put them on the firmware.
I tried even dumping my wife mobile firmware and flash it to my phone, didn't work.
The best solution so far it to write only one IMEI through crcwizard test.
Appreciate your kind support.
Best regards...
I highly doubt flashing the H990N firmware corrupted your IMEI numbers (I have cross-flashed H990N & H990DS on my v20 numerous times).
You need to have valid backups of your MISC, PERSIST, MODEMST1 & MODEMST2 partitions which you need to reinstate.
If you don't you will need help elsewhere outside xda, because any discussion involving manually modifying IMEI is forbidden in this forum, even for legitimate reasons...

So I was right thinking that it is used device, and I presume that the previous owner changed its CUST. It is so called "rebranded device".
First you have to find out the original region (or CUST) of you device.
Type *#*#2846579#*#*, then 3, then line 4. You`ll see something like "hw/eu". The "eu" (or some other letters) will show your real region (CUST).
Then you can just flash (dload) the FW for that region, find the suitable FW here. Then the device will start to update itself.

The alternative way is to flash the original CUST for your region, you can choose which way is easier for you - 1) to dload the original FW or 2) to flash the original CUST. I think the (1) is easier. Besides, I`m afraid, the (2) is impossible, because the device is rebranded, you can`t flash anything with HiSuteProxy, because it will finish with "Connection to Authentication Bridge Failed, Process Aborted"
P.S. possibly, the previous owner rebranded the device, then couldn`t fix the situation and got rid of it. But there is absolutely no problem. Just dload the original FW, that`s all!
Here is a similar situatiion. I hope your case is the same.

eea is equal to C431.
Formally, your region is correct, it is original. I don`t know, may be the previous owner has changed the CUST a multiple times.
Anyway, my choice is to dload the original FW. It will reset all data on your device, so better to make a backup. The original FW you can find here (or may be you can try to ask the author of the thread SilviuO to help you to find the suitable FW for dload)
