Hello,
i have this Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F) Phone from the neighbors 12 year old.
He told me he never registered on a Samsung Account, he can't remember his PIN to unlock the phone (he knows the SIM pin).
He can't remember the google account he has, and already tried a factory reset. Now there is an unauthorized factory reset warning. The FRP lock is on and also the oem lock.
Is there any chance to get it back working ?
What i tried so far (from different frp remove guides):
- installed newest rom
- installed combination rom (Factory binary)
- made an factory reset in Factory binary
- installed an Android 7 rom - made an factory reset
- ADB connection works with factory binary tried different ADB FRP RESET
Problem with the ADB FRP Reset is:
First works:
adb shell content insert –uri content://settings/secure –bind name:s:user_setup_complete –bind value:s:1
Both not working:
adb shell am start -n com.google.android.gsf.login/
adb shell am start -n com.google.android.gsf.login.LoginActivity
I get an intent not found or wrong name error.
Anyone got more ideas ?
Thanks

Yes you can do that look online for services where you can have them remove FRP/google/Samsung account so you can log in. I'm going to PM you one of those guy I used
Thanks, not really the answer i expect here, i know you just want to help me but in the good old times
we shared information and didn't try to make a business of our knowledge just to make some money from others problems.
For others with the same Problem:
I did exactly the same (no idea why it didn't work before):
- Installed combination rom (Factory binary find the right one for your version)
- Factory Reset / Wipe Cache
- After that i installed G955FXXS5DSI1 with Odin
- It booted and the FRP Lock was gone
- First the Google account did not work because it was stuck on "Checking Data", but after playing around in the google backup settings and opening playstore from there i could add an google account again
Now the phone is working normally again, with the different version (G955FXXS5DSI1).
Because everything worked and he was happy, i didn't try to restore the original firmware (G955FXXU4DSE4).
But i was able to add an google and samsung account, so i think when i restore it it should be possible to unlock it with the new accounts.

Hi all,
I need help with breaking my lock screen pattern (Sony Z3 Compact D5803, Android 5.1.1). Today 6 years old kid was playing with my phone and somehow she went into settings and changed my lock screen - and she forgot it. Grrrr
Things I have done so far:
1. Access my gmail account, able to use Android Device Manager -> lock and reset (its running on phone - but did not reset lock screen pattern)
2. Contacted Sony and my carrier (Vodafone UK) - both unable to do anything. Recommend hard reset (all data wiped out)
3. Tried to access phone with ADB shell ->error device '(null)' not found (i guess on USB debugging on on the phone)
4. tried like 200 combinations (simple) no luck
5. Pushed installation of androidlost and done sms registering etc (done this before on friend phone when was stolen) but no luck on main (I got AVG AV on phone which probably stop starting app remotely)
Got some data on my phone what can't really lose, otherwise would do hard reset
Any help appreciated

Thanks for your help. went there and did go through those methods, unfortunately adb shell/devices showed null device, I am on stock rom so no recovery mode - to flash from sd.
But in the end of the day, I made it - phone is unlocked thanks to SONY software (when registering phone with your gmail it does create for you Xperia account). Its like Google Device Manager - with the difference it will overwrite PIN/Lock Pattern. Funny thing is Sony customer service is unaware of this.. completely..at least they first level of support.
Happy
Glad, you found your way. Thread closed

Hi I need some help with a customer J7 boost mobile, She purchased a Galaxy J7 and the phone was defective and she has to send it to Samsung for repair, the phone was fixed and send it back to her. the problem was that they reset her phone and now is asking for the google account password. ( she doesn't remember her login and password)
so the only solution was to bypass the security lock, I tried OTG cable and didn't work, I tried side sync and didn't work, the only working method was to call 611 and from there going to the internet, download shortcut maker and from there to settings and reset and voila! Right? BUT NO!!!
The first think I noticed is that doesn't let me go into developer mode by typing the build number, kernel, baseband, nothing :crying: developer was lock. the second is that when I reset the phone from the actual phone (with short cut maker) the phone will reset and then reinstall everything back again, I know because the customer had Spanish language by default, I tried again call 611 and go to the internet, download shortcut maker go settings check is any account on google (none) try to open developer mode (none) reset the phone and AGAIN the phone reset and and reinstall and lock again, I tried odin and root but google account block any try to root the phone, try odin with stock image and the same install and after reinstall and lock again. Could Samsung did something to the phone ? I seen videos unloking the J700H but nothing on boost mobile J700P? anyone knows hot to fix this ... thanks in advance

Hello
I have a problem with this tablet. It was used several people in my company. Someone tried to do a recovery but now, there's a message "this device was reset. To continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced on this device". Nobody remember the account used.
I asked HP and they want me to pay nearly 400€ for that !!!
I think the USB debugging is OFF.
I can access the recovery mode by pressing POWER + VOLUME UP.
Options :
- reboot system now
- apply update from ADB
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- apply update from sdcard
I tried wipe data and wipe cache partition, but same problem.
Can anyone help me ?
Thank you
Hi !
Unfortunately it looks like the tablet has been locked by Google via the google account after a factory reset , account which has been set-up previously
I don`t think you have any option considering that the usb debugging has been not enabled so you can`t use any adb commands if there were any workarounds available
The recovery commands you have there doesn`t help on this matter
Basically the manufacturer is the one who can help you out
You can search on Google or youtube , the issue is called FRP bypass
Good luck !

Hi all
I've recently reset my wife's phone so my son can use it.
However, after factory reset (using the buttons) when it reboots I cannot set it up.
It says that an "Abnormal factory reset" has been performed and asks for my wife's Samsung email/password.
When we put this in - it's rejected (actually, it says signing in but nothing happens).
We've reset the password but it still won't work.
I'd be happy to just format it an put a clean custom ROM on it but I don't know how.
All guides I find say it needs to be rooted first and to enable USB developer options - but I cannot unlock the phone to get to this stage.
Could someone please help me figure it out? Samsung can't (they want us to send it to them for a chargeable repair!)
Thanks
Matt

Hi, you don't need to root before flashing.
Samsung is AWESOME FOR THIS.
You can flash at any desperate moment.
It is time to install Android 10 for the dummies : https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/guide-tutorial-howto-samsung-galaxy-s6-t4108425
Thanks. I managed to fix it though.
I had to get the L2 Samsung account support to disable two-factor authentication.
Then the password worked and the phone unlocked.
The "this phone is blocked" screen requires your Samsung password but isn't smart enough to work with two factor auth (which is default turned on for all Samsung accounts). #facepalm

Nope the twofacauth is not turned on by default for Sam acc or any other acc on this Planet...that must be activate and config by user.
But if you have the right knowledge you could flash other Rom even if the Phone is lock by google. You just need to know how to.

I'm using samsung galaxy A51 global version.
Recently, I changed my lock screen pin code at night and never tried to unlock with the pin until the pin code is required instead fingerprint.
So, when I tried to unlock with the pin code , it says the pin is incorrect. I tried pin several times but failed and it's time blocked and there is no option to reset password like older versions of samsung phones.
I have so many personal data in my phone, so I need to unlock my phone somehow. Please, help me if there is any way to unlock the phone without losing the internal memory data.
hello good, enter your Gmail account, from there you can change the password.

Hi, Its only possible if u already had twrp installed, in that case enter the twrp file manager and delete the following:
/data/system/locksettings.db
/data/system/locksettings.db-shm
/data/system/locksettings.db-wal
you can enter google from a computer, enter search and change password
