FIRMWARES
Quick Tutorial:
Download the Firmware for your variant, run Odin as administrator, put the file with Firmware to AP section, Flash! Wait for the device to boot to system and Done!
Note: For Stock Rom to have your WiFi working you need to have the same version of Modem/BL as your Firmware. For example if you have QK1 Stock ROM then you need to have QK1 Modem/Bootloader. On Custom ROMs doesn't matter. You can have any Modem/BL of your variant you want but recommend is always the latest.

MODEMS & BOOTLOADERS
Quick Tutorial:
You can flash Bootloader & Modem with two methods:
First and Recommended Method COMBINED: Download the COMBINED BOOTLOADER _MODEM.tar, run Odin as administrator, put the COMBINED BOOTLOADER_MODEM.tar to AP section, untick Auto-Reboot, flash! When It's done, reboot your device by pressing Power Button for couple of seconds.
Second Method SEPERATE: Download the Seperate BOOTLOADER and MODEM .tars, run Odin as administrator, put the BOOTLOADER to BL section and MODEM to CP section, untick Auto-Reboot, flash! When It's done, reboot your device by pressing Power Button for couple of seconds.
Check what version of Modem and Bootloader you have with apps like Inware, Device Info HW or Phone Info.
If Modem & Bootloader didn't changed to the version you wanted, do the same steps again with the method you have selected.
If for some reason Odin failed to flash, make sure your run Odin as adminstrator, try to change USB Port in your PC and don't move the cable during flash. Also if you have Odin and the files on an External hard drive, move Odin and all the files you want to flash, into one folder to your Main Drive for example C: drive.

MAGISK ROOT SOLUTION
Quick Tutorial:
The easiest way to root your device is via Magisk, it should work in all ROMs, Stock and Customs.
However if you are gonna use ROM based on LineageOS and don't want to use any Magisk Module, recommended is to use the LineageOS AddonSU.
From LineageOS 17.1 onwards, LineageOS is dropping its own superuser implementation, making Magisk the de facto solution! You can find infos here.
Steps to Root via Magisk:
1. Download the latest Magisk version.
2. Reboot to TWRP Recovery (power button+vol.up+home button) and flash the .zip you have downloaded.
3. Done. Magisk Manager App should be installed, if not install it manually.
Steps to Unroot Magisk:
1. Download the latest Unistaller Magisk version.
2. Reboot to TWRP Recovery (power button+vol.up+home button) and flash the .zip you have downloaded.
3. Done. Magisk Manager App should be also unistalled.
Steps to Root via LineageOS SU Addon if you use LineageOS ROM.
1. Download the LineageOS AddonSU and select arm and the proper android version of the rom you have.
2. Reboot to TWRP Recovery (power button+vol.up+home button) and flash the .zip you have downloaded. Next, Reboot to System.
3. Go to Settings--->About Phone--->Tap 7 times in Build Number to Enable Developer Options. Then go Settings--->System--->Developer Options--->Enable Root from there--->Done!
Steps to Unroot via LineageOS AddonSU Unistaller.
1. Download the LineageOS AddonSU Unistaller and select arm and the proper android version of the rom you have.
2. Reboot to TWRP Recovery (power button+vol.up+home button) and flash the .zip you have downloaded. Next, Reboot to System.
3. Go Settings--->System--->Developer Options--->Disable Root from there--->Done!

You should mention that downloading and installing of g-apps is not necessary in most cases. F-Droid is a really good alternative market. And if you still need apps not available on f-droid you may use yalp or aurora...
And if you depend on some google services microG may be a good solution for you, especially in the flavour of NanoDroid.

Hi,
For an average user, GApps is recommended so the device can be fully functional with access to the main Google Play market and to avoid "issues". For example, push notifications to work in Pie need Google Services etc.
I agree, F-Droid is a good alternative market but some apps may missing from there. About microG and NanoDroid I am not a fun.
However, I want to mention the alternatives options but unfortunately I have hit the maximum words I can contain to OP. I am thinking to split OP to two posts but I am not sure yet, I will see how I will do it.
Btw at reserved posts, will be included Battery Save tips and more.
Thanks for your suggestions.

In your lists of variants (bootloader etc.), I don't see SM-S975L. Has this variant been dropped?

No worries! I can see it's a big task to keep track of everything!
Thanks for all of your efforts, and the help those efforts bring to us all.

Sorry. In my school they only taught Russian, but there are translators. Stupid to ask but have to. I have s4 9505 variable modem and bootloder from I9505XXUHOJ2 to XXUHQK1. Now I don't have LTE only EDGE. I know for you builders to laugh and for me a riddle so I am asking builders for a tip that I would come back to LTE.
Wi-fi enabled is ok, just outside edge

Welcome to XDA and this forum. Here on XDA we use the English language. But a lot (most?) of us aren't native English speakers. And automated translations sometimes aren't clear and correct. So it is good practice to try to translate your text to English and doublecheck the translation yourself. And to add your original text for native speakers, too, if in doubt...

Make sure you have the same Firmware version as your Modem & Bootloader version. If you have flashed QK1 Modem and Bootloader then you need to flash QK1 Firmware.

As I mentioned, English is a translator. QK1 Firmware need to be installed after changing the modem and bootloder? This is for Croatia and Austria. Is Polish in your settings? Clean and upload v12.1? I guess the questions are at child level but I am asking for help anyway. After all upload v12.1?

Doesn't matter if you flash Firmware after or before. Your Modem and Bootloader will stay as it is, unless you flash again different Modem & Bootloader.
Country doesn't matter, you will find your language in settings.
What do you mean "clean and upload v12.1"?
Don't worry, ask anything you want. I will try to help.

Let it not be, without petroleum jelly, nice that a professional wants to help and not to instruct. S4 small, grateful phone, not the pingpong rackets. I started with cyanegen through other mods and worked out after changing the boot. I understand that after this change you need to upload the official I9505XXUHQK1 and then flash on v12.1? I just downloaded I9505XXUHQK1 T-Mobile.

I don't really understand what you wanna do.
You can find everything in my guides and collection in OP and post #2.
What is v12.1 you are talking about? Optimized LineageOS v12.1? You wanna flash that ROM or you want to flash Stock ROM?
What ROM do you use right now and what you wanna do?

I was on LineageOS16.0 on XXUHOJ2 versions up to 11 I had no problem with LTE. With version 12 there was a suggestion to change the boot and modem to XXUHQK1. I did it and I don't have LTE but only EDGE. I ask what I did wrong because obviously the fault was on my side? I want to have this soft but with LTE.

No. S4 i9505 LTE. Writing small I meant the difference in the size of current phones.

[ROM][GTi9305][XXUFNL1]23.1.2014[KK4.4.4] ▌Official Stock Rom ▌

Based on Samsung Stock Roms for GTI9305:
- Stable and smooth
- Rooted, Deodexed, Zipaligned, Busybox added
- unbranded, boot sound renamed
- without any mods
- new bootloader isn't included!
- 5 Shortcuts possible add on Lockscreen
- defaultly set EN language, multilingual
All next it’s on your own risk!!!
About bootloaders:
- if you ever flash 4.3 or 4.4 via Odin or updated from OTA you have new Bootloader.
- if you bought your device and you dont know what bootloader you have, turn off your phone, reboot to download mode (hold power + volume down +home buttons) and when is there Knox flag 0x1 you have new and you are warranty off. When Knox flag is there 0x0 you have also new bootloader, but you are still in warranty and when you'll flash any custom recovery or unofficial firmware via Odin, you'll have then Knox 0x1 and you will be warranty off - so it's on your deciding. When isn't in download mode any records about about Knox, you still have old bootloader (btw congratulation ) and don't ever flash via Odin 4.3 and higher firmware - it's a pity.
PS: exit from download mode: hold pressed power button cca 5 seconds

Screenshots - in 2nd post and in attachment
Changelogs - in 3th post
Customize as you like and wish!
- for good improvements I recommend install Wanam Xposed from market
- for cleaning of Bloatware you can use Rom cleaner from S4, guide you will find there, download possible HERE
Installation Instructions:
- first of all backup all your data from internal SD card, 4.3 and 4.4 has different structure tree from 4.1.2!!!
- if you go from 4.1.2 or older I recommend format internal card, if you don’t do it, on internal card were by me still data (DCIM etc...) and you can’t normal access them on 4.3, but even without formatting you can later move them from old folder to new one in 4.3 with Aroma file manager , for me easer way without format. Also is possible, that files will move automatically – also me happened
- be sure, you have EFS backup!!!
- create NanDroid backup to external card!!!
- download the *.zip file to external card!
- download to Recovery, recommended is only PHILz
- ROM isn’t full wipe, but is recommended if you get from any older
- wipe cache and Dalvik cache is automatically included
- select ZIP file from external card and install
- don’t use re-root after installation inside recovery - you don’t need it, if you'll do, then you need install again SU apk from market
- reboot and wait and wait ...
- enjoy it
- IF YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEM WITH ROOT TRY MAKE UPDATE AND APPLY SUPERUSER VIA MARKET ( then open SU and update binary and disable Knox and enjoy), OR RE-ROOT VIA CUSTOM RECOVERY (only PhilZ is recommended), THEN YOU HAVE TO AGAIN INSTALL AND APPLY SUPERUSER APK FROM MARKET.
- ON NEW BOOTLOADER AFTER INSTALLATION I RECOMMEND YOU MAKE STATUS SELINUX PERMISSIVE VIA WANAM XPOSED OR SELinux Mode Changer .....IF YOU WILL NOT MAKE THIS STATUS, ARE EXPECTED PROBLEM WITH ROOT
- If your camera doesn't work primary flash this Camera Patch. It should works . For interesting here are also older instruction: follow this (thanks @Hbohd and @P$T), if you don't have incriminated file flash relevant Stock kernel from HERE - Wifi doesn't work with old bootloader, then take photo and short video, then flash again your Rom without full wipe with kernel which you like. If your camera still doesn't work follow THIS or flash some Rom 4.1.2 (via Recovery or Odin) take picture, grab and backup incriminated files, then flash this Rom and put them to data/cwm. Don't forget backup your SlimISP_XX.bin for future. Problem with camera have only some users - Samsung issue.

use version for KK from HERE

Initial Release - 29th September 2014
Thanks dude!
Ahh, smaller filesize than 4.3... I'll try clean flashing from aosp, I hope it works and I don't have to flash a 4.1.2 stock rom first or something.
Yes smaller.
From Aosp just full wipe
Edit: R2 is a little larger
Now this is some good news mate :good: gonna download it now and if it boots and all works fine I will use as my official base for S5 Elite
Thanks
EDIT: oke, some feedback on the rom
-boots fine
-wifi works
-had some troubles updating the SU binary, solved applying reroot using philz recovery
-manually pushed supersu.apk to phone and installed, cause play store wouldnt open, giving FC
-updated google play services and rebooted and got 2 or 3 more FC's from google related components
-seems overall nice and smooth
-sometimes freezes when trying to open Super SU app, pressing home button solves it though
-samsung apps are removed i guess, didnt saw it in the rom
So this far of my tests, only google related stuff is not working and to be honest, i dont believe rom will boot if i transfer S5 Elite to this base without a 4.4.4 custom kernel updated, but i'll give it a try anyway
Ok very thank you!
Did you make Status SeLinux Permissive and applied towel root before? It should solve SU problems.
Edit: i confirm, Samsung apps aren't included, ill add.
Edit2: added to R2, solved all problems
i would help testing but i urgently need gps and my phone working for a few days coz ii have to go somwhere. Sorry for stupid useless post. I will help testing at the end of the weeek
1. where should I seek for stock kernel (my brother's phone has 4.3 bootloader
2. What recovery is suitable? Like for CM11 - tweaked 2.7.0 TWRP? Or it doesn't mind which one?

Samsung apps I'll check. I also don't know, why is missing SMemo and apks which I already added. The same problem with apps are on ported roms for S3 too

I think i know why the ported apps for the s3 roms dont work, probably youve figured it too, because of the s5 framework they work on the s5 roms, but not with s3 framework of 4.4.4, sounds logical enough to me, right?
Downloaded this version from sammobile 2 days ago... Seems stable.. Also tested this one.. Seems to work fine so far... The camera bug which I kept having constantly on other cm based 4.4.2 seems to bd fixed.. I flashed stock rom before but that didn't even fix the camera, but this one does.
Just curious : any way to remove all the Samsung bloatware with one script or app ?.. Seems to be draining the battery a lot! ?

If I have 4.3 bootloader, wifi doesn't work? Because wifi isn't working for me.

no, no i didnt use them ..... now compiling new version with sasmung apps, and with others missing apps (will be contain the same apps as from Odin) - will solve problem with market too
Edit: and yes, for 4.4.4 must be used stuff from S5 4.4.4 .... I think in S3 threads people works on it

I still don't understand. I don't know which bootloader do I have.
I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...tock-sgsiii-i9305-prerooted-firmware-t1935570 and it says:
Code:
D:\ANDROID\ANDROID-SDK\sdk\platform-tools>adb shell
[email protected]:/ $ su
su
/system/bin/sh: su: can't execute: Permission denied
126|[email protected]:/ $ getprop ro.boot.bootloader
getprop ro.boot.bootloader
I9305XXBMJ1
[email protected]:/ $
which is propably 4.1.2's Polish ROM = 4.1.2 bootloader.
As far as I understand You say that every bootloader which is not 4.4.4 will make wifi disabled?
if you ever flashed 4.3 Rom or 4.4.4 via Odin you have new bootloader, if not, you have old.
You can reboot to download mode, and when is there Knox flag 0x1 you have new and you are warranty off. If there isnt any records about Knox you have old and you have to wait for custom kernel.
I always recommend leave old bootloader, you'll not be warranty off
Edit: for more information you can find here topic about knox and bootloader.

Is it 4.1.2?
If Yes than the only way to WIFI work would be installing newer (but worse) 4.3 or 4.4.4 bootloader?!

in addition to your info, AP SWREV 2 is 4.3 bootloader and AP SWREV 3 with blue text saying ''secure download enabled'' is 4.4.4 bootloader with enhanced security, thats causing us so much trouble, damn samsung with their crap of a KNOX and Bootloader****!

yes correct, but if i were you i would wait for a decent FW of 4.4.4 with a custom kernel, soon or later we'll get a new kernel one way or another, till then just wait and enjoy other roms. There is nothing special on 4.4.4 and you will be probably dissapointed with the 4.4.4 fw (at least i am) considering we had to wait so long for it...

But which Bootloader do I flash last (in Odin), the BOOTLOADER_G925FXXU3ZOL6-M(6.0).tar, used in the 6.0 Beta thread for the G925F?
Awesome news, thanl's a lot

Yes. Maybe the kernel need to flash separately from 925 6.0.1.
With the 920F bootloaders in the thread over at the regular forum, ROM was booting fine, but in the OS everything would be weird, drivers failing, phone had a charge of 4678% or something. With the 925F bootloader it wouldn't boot at all. I'm back to 6.0 until it's clear what bootloader to use.
EDIT: Just saw your post. I'll try the separate kernel tomorrow then, hope the old 6.0 will boot.
Which kernel are you referring to?

The right decision is to ask on the forum who installed the OTA update to 6.0.1 and get out boot .img backup via recovery.
Let me know after if will give boot.img and I will make a via Odin.

They use a backup to get the new software. It's too risky for me. I will just wait for an easier way to flash.

[ROM] [REPACK] [ 5.1.1 ] RC5 Lollipop Jiayu S3 & S3 Pro [MT6752]

Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
This is the well known Build of Jiayu Germany Lollipop Release Candidate 5 (latest) for Jiayu S3 (Advance/Basic) with MTK 6752 SoC
There's also a modified version , for the new Jiayu s3 Pro ( with 32GB of internal memory ) also MTK6752
This is being posted here, as this is a full SPFlashTools "Base" ROM, usually used to recover your device
( or if you want to roll back to Lollipop ...)
The "REPACK" Version is simply the same RC5 Rom, but with latest M.A.D. TWRP already included
There's also a modified version for the s3 Pro (32GB)
The Rom should be flashed in "UPGRADE MODE" on SPFlashTools. (Doesn't matter in what ROM / OS you currently are ...)
DO NOT flash any SP Flash Tools Jiayu s3 (old 16gb) roms on the new Jiayu s3Pro (32GB)
--> Preloader, partitions are different, you'll get an hard brick.
Installation Instructions:
BACKUP EVERYTHING, This will ERASE everything from your internal phone memory (pics, videos, data, etc )
Turn OFF the phone
Open MediaTek SPFlashTools
Load mt6752 Scatter
Choose "Upgrade Mode"
Press "Download"
At this moment, plug USB Cable to phone, it'll start flash ...
Some Jiayu S3, require BOTH Volume Keys to be pressed , while you plug USB Cable to enter in "download Mode"
If you wish to upgrade to latest M.A.D. Android Nougat, after you flashed RC5, it's recommended that you let the RC5 boot up, then you can go back to recovery ( Latest M.A.D. Recovery included already)
Place AOSP Nougat Rom on internal memory/ external SDCard
WIPE ALL
Flash AOSP and GAPPS & SuperSu (latest two optional)
Download ROMs from "XDA DevDB Download Section"
Choose the right rom, for your Jiayu S3 variant (s3 advance / basic 16GB) or ( s3 pro 32GB )
Working:
Everything

thank you so much...
hope flashing rc5 and then stable 7 fix my low signal connection on s3 pro
All done ...
Can you also upload the SPFT flash tool so that people would use a similar version and reduce variables and become easier to debug when a problem arises?
I'm sorry for the stupid question but are de download links?
Have searched in the download section but keeps sending me back to this post!

Found it, sorry for double post!

Upgrade successfull!
Thank you. This has helped me gretly with my quest to upgrade 4.4 -> 5.x -> 7.x.
I had a problem with uploading through SP Flash Tool that it wouldn't start to download to phone, but after many tries i finally changed USB port, and then it worked like a charm.
I have a question though. Should i stay on this ROM or upgrade to 6.0.1 or what? The problem is that Xposed framework does not work yet with 7.x, so untill it does, i will stay on system that does support it.

Thanks, done.
Will continue replying there if something comes bugs me
A huge thank you for the s3pro version. I have just bought a second S3 32gb without knowing that it was different to my old S3 32gb, and bricked it trying to install the old rc5 that is on my old phone. This version rescued the phone from death!!
Can I use TWRP to install SuperSU and root it? I'm guessing there's zero chance of flashing 7.1.1 on the s3pro.

I've just found that the recovery is the chinese one, not twrp. Reflashing just recovery does not change this. The build number is 20160302-190806. Any ideas on what might have happened here?
I made this thread mainly for the newer s3 33GB variant...
Since I also got the 32gb variant, after my old s3 died
You just need to follow instructions on the first post
Download full rc5 repack for the 32GB variant
And flash in "upgrade mode"
You,ll get the newer MAD twrp, that is also Nougat compatible.
After flash, just boot to recovery , full wipes (including data, and flash newer Nougat release)
Cheers

Thanks for your reply. I've just done it all again - downloaded the PRO pkg afresh and flashed as 'upgrade', but again booting to recovery shows a chinese menu. I also flashed in 'format all' mode, but the same result. I'm downloading the pkg from the 'downloads' section of this forum, and it unpacks to show recovery as 'S3_h560_TWRP_3.0.2-0' at 13,074kb. The recovery from the old rc5 pkg is a different size - I suppose that can't be used without rewriting the scatter file? Or does the scatter file reference the recovery that's recommended for your latest 7.1.1 rom? I could just get that separately and copy it in.
Apart from blaming the pixies, I really don't understand what is going wrong here.
Stranger and stranger. I replaced the recovery with the one hosted on mediafire for 7.1.1 (though that has a space in the filename which had to be removed for the scatter txt to recognise it) and after flashing the phone was bricked. Then replaced recovery with the one from rc5 and again it was bricked. Then unpacked afresh the pro pkg and flashed with that in 'format all' mode - this time it booted to chinese recovery but refused to boot normally. Then reflashed in 'upgrade' mode and now it boots normally but refuses to boot to recovery. Perhaps the hardware has been changed even further, or perhaps the gods are just laughing at me, but I've run out of options now. The problem is that supersu won't install without updating itself (though it's 2.79) and it fails to update under the 'normal' update option and doesn't have a twrp recovery to update through. Hence the phone can't be rooted.
Sorry for this question, please how can I revert to this ROM I'm already on 7,1.2, what does repack means or how should I repack it ,any possible way to use spflashtool for this ROM, your answer is highly needed urgently please to whom ever knew

Latest Rom, Firmware, Twrp, Root Guides & Lists For C7 / C7 Pro

Hey There Were No Posts Regarding Latest Bootloaders, Firmwares, Twrp, Etc... For C7 And C7 Pro.
So I Thought Of Making This Thread Which Will Be Useful For My Other Rom Threads
OK , So Here Are The Shortcut Links To The Specific Post Directly -
#1 Latest Official Full Firmware -
#2 Latest Official Bootloader -
#3 Root Guide -
#4 Latest TWRP Recovery -
#5 OEM Unlock Guide -
#6 Soft/Hard Brick Recovery -
Basics-
-Our Samsung Android Devices Have Three Modes, Namely -
2 System
1 Recovery Mode
3 Download Mode
1) System-
It Is The Normal Workaround That Every Device Normally Boot To Which We Also Call As TouchWiz, One UI, Etc...
You Normally Have To Just Power On Your Device And It Directly Boots To System And The System Is Normal Under Control Of The Vebdor (ie: Samsung, One Plus,etc..) Who Deny Full System Access There By Restricting The User From Modifying All Thats There In The Root Directory, So Here Is What We Mean By Rooting Your Device -
And Custom Rom Means Nothing But Replacing Your Stock System With A modified Or With A Custom System ....
2)Root -
There Is A Thing Called Root Folder Which Is The Very First Directory In Your Device And Usually These Directories Cannot Be Accessed Directly Because Of OEM Control Over The Device And What We Mean By Rooting Is Nothing But
The Process Of Handing Over The Control Of Device From Oem To A Root Manager (A App That Monitors Root Activity) Is Called Rooting..
3) Bootloader (AKA Download Mode In Android) -
It Is The Program That Manages The Booting Process (Before Kernel) And Also Service As A Recovery Point In Most Cases. Where You Will Use Tools To Communicate With It And Use The Bootloader As Medium To Intsall Other Firmware Including Root & Custom Recoveries. So For Installing Latest Firmware Files Latest Bootloader Is Needed ...
Official Bootloaders Are Usually Preferred, Which Has To Be Unlocked Via Developer Options (OEM Unlock)
4) Recovery -
This Is The Place Where We'll Be Hangin Out Most Of The Time For Installing Roms, Kernel, etc...
Basically Your Device Comes With A Stock Recovery Which Can Do Nothing But Just Format Data,Clear Cache & Redirect b/t System And Bootloader.... But Thats Not What We Need, So What We Do Is Install A Custom Version Of Recovery Which Can Be Replaced With Stock Recovery And Do What Ever Stuff We Want To ..
Why Go For Custom Recovery ?
Just Imagine A State Where Your System & All The System Security Have No Control (Or It Is Switched Off), That Is What A Custom Recovery Takes Advantage Of.....
OK, So In That Case The Custom Recovery Can Access The Root Directories And Can Make Modification To System Without The Systems Knowledge Or With The System Along Side,
These Days The Oem System Have Hardened Custom Recovery Detection And Stuff Like That, So We Need A Recovery & Also A system That Supports Custom Mods With It .... Inorder To Do That We Make Use Of Custom Recoveries To Delete The Existing System and Replace It With A Similar/Modified System Which We Call It As A Custom Rom, Which Allows Modification To Any Part Of The Device Without Interruption ... This Is What An Super User Basically Does When He/She Unlocks Bootloader And Makes Modification To System
The Most Common Recovery Is TWRP Recovery
5) Hard/Soft Brick -
Is A State Where You Cant Boot To System (Usually Soft Brick) & Face Bootloops Etc... This State Is Usually Recoverable By Flashing The Original Firmware Again..
When You Have Messed Something With The Kernel/Recovery (Recovery In Most Cases) ,Your Phone Wont Boot, Turn On, Literally Anything ...(Hard Bricked) In This Case You Have Only On Option That Is To Boot To Download Mod (It Wont Boot Via 3 Button Combo) But Still There Are Ways To even Recover From This State Like Using Usb Jibb Or By Plugging Into The Device Into The PC With The Flash Tool Running .... etc
6) Kernel -
A Kernel Is A Platform Below System And Hardware, It What Controls The Clock Speed, Cores, Etc And Other Hardware/Software Related Things In A Device, These Often Determine The Performance Of A Device & There Fore ppl Tend To Move To A Custom Kernel For Flexibility ....

Hello, this twrp works fine with the latest firmware and roms in the forum...
Make sure u have completely erased your data, system, cache & do a 'format data' in twrp before installing any rom or anything... coz this removes the system encryption...
And make sure the rom file is good and not corrupt...
