OnePlus 6 Display Problems - OnePlus 6 Questions & Answers

Hello,
last year, just after I got my OP6 I broke the screen and got it replaced. However, the past month I have been experiencing problems. First, I got a single yellow/green line on the right side of the display which would go away at times and then reappear again. After a couple of days, the single like became 3 lines, and then after 2 weeks multiple lines. The touch was working perfectly tho, the only thing wrong were the lines.
This morning, probably a month after the first line appeared, I woke up to a black screen. The touch was working as I could feel the lock screen vibrating. After a couple of hours I pressed the screen's corners pretty hard and the display started working again. Then it got black again whenever I slightly pressed the corner and the whole process repeated multiple times a day whenever I pressed the right corner of the bottom of the screen. Also, whenever I pressed the right bottom corner the lines would get whiter and brighter.
I also noticed that the screen digitizer glue was peeling off to the point that I could pull up the screen digitizer with my nails.
I have dropped the phone a couple of times but it was never on a hard surface nor from a big height. There aren't any visible cracks on the display nor the glass protector I have.
Is there any chance for this problem to be fixed without having to buy a new display (again).
Could there be some problems with the connectors?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Screen appears loose in the top left corner of Nexus S

Hi,
I've had my Nexus S for less than 4 weeks, and I just noticed today that the top right corner of the screen seems to have some give when you press on it. It apparently just started happening now... Anyone else have this issue with their phone? I'm wondering if I should just run to Best Buy and have them exchange the phone for me before it's too late...
Thanks,
Mike
I don't have that problem with mine but in your case looks like you might have to take that trip to best buy
Sent from my Nexus S
if you look at it, does the surface of the top corner part raised a bit compared to the other corners or sides?
I ask because I tried to press gently on the corners and also the sides and there's a very slight give. It maybe because of the type of screen (plastic?) causing the give when pressed?
yeah it appears to be ever so slighlty raised, and has a very slight give...
any word on if this is normal? I have the same issue with the bottom capacitive side....it is noticeably lose sometimes, I can push it then it becomes tight...then the capacitive buttons wont work unless I turn off the screen then turn it back on.
My 2 week old Nexus S just started doing this. It feels like the screen is attached with glue and the screen has separated from the frame. I can press on it and it sticks for a moment, but if press a minute later it clicks again.
My phone had the same problem.. Upper right screen was lifting ever so slightly. I was passed my thirty days so i couldn't bring it back to bestbuy. My only option was to send it to samsung for repair. The problem was that they had it for almost three weeks and when i got it back the screen was still lifting up. I had to send it back out and almost three weeks later (again) i got it back and it was fixed. They ended up replacing the PBA. Not exactly sure what that is but the phone is fixed.

screen issues....

i just got my nexus s a week ago, and i've noticed some spots on the screen that do not come off.. (since about the 3rd day i had it).
the most noticable area is on the right side. it's looks like a rectangle about a half cm wide and half the length of the screen. whatever i do it just WONT COME OFF!! also, if a breath on it, the rest of the screen fogs up except that area.
do you think it's worth asking for an exchange? it doesn't affect the actual screen itself, it just bothers me when i see it. and when i swipe my fingers, the part i swiped turns up as a gray streak, but the 'permanent rectangle' looks the same. no smudges on it. there's also two other tiny dots as well...

Bottom screen corners dim

I did a search for this issue and could not find anything...
About a couple months ago, the bottom right and bottom left hand corners of the screen will taking turns going dim as if the settings for the screen brightness were changed just for the bottom corners. I know of the light bleed issue, but apparently i'm having the opposite effect. At first, i thought maybe it was a software issue and have done a full wipe and flashed different roms and i'm still experiencing this issue since then. For ****s and giggles, I tapped on the corner of the screen and the dimness went away. The dimness comes back eventually. I am tapping on the corner of the screen about as hard as a light knock. If you knock it enough times, it will begin to flicker a little bit. Obviously, this is a hardware issue. My TF has not been dropped, damaged, liquid spilled on, etc. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this before, and if there is anything i can do short of doing a warranty return?

Screen Replacement leads to blank screen

I have a Blu Studio Energy (D810U, I believe). I went to a lot of trouble getting a ROM that had the fewest bugs, but once I did, it worked well until I lent it to a "friend" who promptly smashed the screen. Not just the digitizer but the LCD as well.
I ordered a screen replacement and swapped out the screen. I've done this before, so no sweat - at least until I turned on the phone and found that while it was reading touch input and the backlight was on, there was no picture on the screen. It responded by vibrating when I pressed the capacitative keys on the bottom, and when I pulled the screen slightly out with a suction cup the edges of the LCD were lit up. I removed the assembly, replaced it repeatedly, and finally bought a new screen assembly and put that in. Every time, I had the exact same results.
Does anybody have any idea what's going on here?

Creaking noise

So I opened up my gold 2 for the first time in a month or so and I noticed a slight creaking (crunching?) Noise as I opened it. Can't say I've ever noticed it before. There's no more/less resistance to opening. It's never been dropped. I don't see any imperfections anywhere on the screen. Should I be worried? Is the display about to get the cracked screen of death?
That happened to me about two months ago where I first noticed a crunchy creak when opening…only once or twice though, then normal again. Within three weeks of that I noticed what looked like a screw or piece of plastic under the screen three quarters down right on the crease. I did have to send it into Samsung and they replaced the screen under warranty. Just keep an eye on your crease over the next little while but if it happens you won’t miss It, its pretty obvious.
