Dear All,
Anyone knows what is the command to get Bixby to open Spotify and then start playing. I have a command that I created it for my Note 8 but it doesn't work now on my Note 10+. Can anyone share how to get this done? Thanks

I got Samsung galaxy J7 I am facing problem that most of the Samsung mobile are facing as I had noticed
which is the Samsung keep asking for default application player for Videos and images which is really annoying thing
each time I want to open image or video I have to choose for the default app I press always but that won't solve my problem

This happened when I upgarded to nougat on my s7 edge and now occurs on my s8 plus. The first thing I noticed is that video and image titles have changed to random numbers. The second issue being that the player can no longer skip to the next video [or image] despite being in the same folder. However, these features work inside the stock samsung gallery app. The next video in the queue can be played and titles show appropriately. I do not have encryption on and I've tried a factory reset. Could this be some security measure in nougat / touchwiz or what is going on. Anyone experience this?

I've got exactly the same problem described by fourskim but on a Motorola Moto Play Z with Nougat
I'm not able to skip to the next video in an directory anymore.
It doesn't matter at all, which kind of data manager app i use to get a list of the files and
it doesn't matter if it is an internal directory, or a directory on SD-Card, or on a USB-Stick....
It's not very handy closing the mxplayer after every single file, searching the next file, and start the mxplayer again.
I've got the PRO Version - but it is the same with free Version....
Ne ver had this issue with MXPLAYER all the years before.
Any ideas ?

It's because nougat changes. It no longer allows the app to pass the file path to external apps. They are forced to use content scheme.
MX Player will receive something like content://com.sample.app/something. When MX Player can't detect the directory, it can't play previous or next videos from that directory.
We are working on that. It will be fixed on upcoming MX Player v1.9.0.
Hi! Just recently switched from Samsung Galaxy to Huawei P20 and it seems like video player wont do "background play". I want to let the audio continue to play while I multi-task or while screen is off.
What are your recommendations?

Coming from a S7. The Huawei P20 sadly does not have the floating apps bubble/instance. The only thing you can do is by using the Multitasking View (2 apps only) by Going to the Recent apps then hitting the Left most icon next to the "Lock app".

I'd love the same. It recently has been made compatible with Android auto so I keep going back to the Samsung note 10 plus instead of using the oneplus 7 pro which I really love. I hope someone can make it happen but won't hold my breath.
I use Pi Music Player and paid to remove their ads forever. Great music player and works when screen is locked. I can also use Oneplus screen gestures to skip, forward and pause track and the screen continues to stay black.

I used to have the Galaxy Watch and I've upgraded to the Galaxy Watch 4 and it's quite disappointing that Bixby can't play songs from Spotify even for premium subscribers and even when it is paired to my Samsung phone. I've so far sideloaded and used the modified Spotify apk which allows me to search and stream but it also doesn't work it Bixby. I have even sideloaded Google Asistant but after it says it will play the song it always says there was a problem as it doesn't seem to work with native watch or phone apps. Is there any workaround for this function either in Spotify or any other music streaming service such as YouTube Music? If not is anyone currently working on it?

Yeah the Android ecosystem is so broken. I can't imagine apple releasing a watch without such basic functions.
Surely someone will find a way to make galaxy watch 4 bixby work with Spotify
