Calls muted when car in reverse - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Good morning.
I have an SYGAV /Dasaito Android 9 head unit...
Model: PX6 (1024x600)
Build: rk3399-userdebug 9 PQ2A.190305.002 20190611.144108 test-keys
Kernel: 4.4167 #320
Calls and other audio sources are muted when the car is in reverse and the backup camera is activated.
How can I change this default behavior so that at least the calls aren't muted?
Thanks in advance!

Look in your factory settings on the last tab, disable reverse volume and it should work fine.

I'm working with DRL problem all 2 months of this android multimedia.
I'm turned on DRL in PP2000 and it works with original peugeot radio. Multimedia turns it off.
I guess this is Canbus problem and it seems that today it is still not solved.

Hi,
is there a verified CANBUS that works well with 407?
I have following one:
PA-SS-07 20191229 SW:V1.00.012BYPS P/N:1814600028
used with PX5 9.0 4+64
rk3368-userdebug 9 PI 20200103.122402 test-keys Kernel 4.4.167 #193 Fri Dec 13 17:27:06 CST 2019 MCU version MTCE_MX_V3.41_1 Nov 15 2019 12:50:10 Octa-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.5G memory 3940 MB
I don't have parking sensors, so no issue there, the problems I observed are:
- no DRL (lights stopped switching on automatically, options in the Android app don't have any result)
- temperature not shown, I see no options to activate that in radio
- HU doesn't turn on on ignition ON every time, sometimes it's needed to start the engine first
- climate temperatures seem to be wrong - in the original controls it defaulted to 21 deg when turning on ignition (Webasto parking heater resets it), on the Android device it shows 23 deg, I don't know if 23 is equivalent to 21.

Terrible bluetooth connection

Hey
I have got the following unit installed:
Modellnummer: A-MEDIA AUTO (1024x600)
Android-Version: 6.0.1.
Sicherheitspatch: 1. Juni 2016
Baseband: SF3GR_M-26.3_cpeg_rk-r2p_bc2-20160629_111639
Kernel: 3.14.0x [email protected] #9
Build: sofia3gr_car_64-userdebug 6.0.1 MMB29M eng.hct.20170515.155328 releas-keys
MCU-Version: MTCD_LM_v2.441
CPU: Genuine Intel(R) CPU @1.2Ghz (x4)
Speicher 1924 MB
I bought it second hand and according to the seller it is a erisin 3811, which actually should be based on a PX30 and not a Sofia.
But nevermind.
Whenever I connect my Android phone to this device using the B2DP-App, the sound stopps for miliseconds every half minute... Bluetooth sound when calling is flawless, it's just music or podcasts via this app.
Any idea how to improve this?
Thanks!

Erisin PX5,Android 9.0 Bluetooth issues

Hi,
I was wondering if I could get some help with my issue. I bought an Erisin ES8049U head unit that I am trying to connect to my cars after market engine management system via Bluetooth. The head unit discovers the engine management system but it's quite troublesome to connect to it. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesnt. The Bluetooth connection to the cars engine management unit works fine from my Samsung mobile, so the problem is in the Erisin head unit.
Also when I finally get it to connect, no data comes through to the engine management system, it's like its not even connected and sometimes it flashes connected/disconnected.
Here are the info on the system:
PX5
Android 9
Build: rk3368-userdebug 9PQ2A. 190305.002 20191113.183229 test-keys
Kernel: 4.4.167
MCU: MTCE_LM_V3.43_1 / DEC 17.2019
CPU: Octa-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.5G
BT chip that has been selected in the system by default is: SD-8350
I've read some of the BT connectivity issues and they mostly have had different BT chips installed, at least originally. Any idea which chip I could test from the list, or is there a MCU that would fix connectivity issues? Or any other things I could do?

OK, I got it to show the data from the engine managament unit when I disabled Wireless and after that it started connecting. But if I restart the car, it doesnt want to connect to the application. With my phone it works flawlessly. I wonder if it's an application error or something to do with the head unit.

A-MEDIA AUTO MTCE_CHS_V3.76_1 Bluetooth Problem

HI all, I have a problem with Bluetooth on the following A-MEDIA AUTO head unit:
Model
PX6(1280x720)
Android version 10
Build number rk3399-userdebug 10 QQ2A.200305.004.A1 eng.hct.20210902163038 test-keys
Kernel version
4.19_111+
#158 Wed Aug 11 15:57:41 CST 2021
MCU version
MTCE_CHS_V3.76_1
May 13 2021 15:42:50
CPU
Dual-core Cortex-A72 @ 1.8G
Quad-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.5G
Memory
3841MB
I know Bluetooth problems appear to be legion on these Chinese head units, but maybe someone can help me sort this out. Now there is no problem pairing any device with a PIN: mobile phones and OBD2 dongles pair up just fine. But I have a lot of Bluetooth devices and applications that communicate directly - no pairing required - such as battery monitors, BMSs, mobile phone repeater units. These devices/applications used to work on my old Android 9 head unit (different chipset entirely), but now on this new Rockchip 3399 Android 10 unit, none of them can communicate at all.
I'm not sure if it's an Android 10 problem, or (more likely I suspect) a broken Bluetooth implementation in the MCU. Another problem is that audio pass-through from the mobile phone doesn't work at all, even though all other phone operations work as they should.
The Bluetooth driver setting in the unit is set to WQ_RF210. I've tried all of the other settings for fun, but of course there was no improvement.
Is anyone able to shed any light on this?

Dasaita Sound Cutting Out

I have a Dasaita head unit with Android 11 & Vivid 11 installed. My vehicle is a 2016 Jeep Cherokee with a 9 speaker system. Every 10 seconds the sound cuts out for a second. This happens with local radio and all music/video apps. In the Canbus it is set at 78 JEEP_Cherokee&Renegade&FiatAegea(Simple) anybody know what the issue may be?
