Hi guys, help me out here. I downloaded the custom ROM for my lenovoa526 from the link provided in the xda. I remember something mediafire.com ... I choose the android lollipop ROM and successfully downloaded but the problem arises when I'm trying to flash it." INSTALLATION ABORTED " is being displayed while trying. I have ROM manager v5.5.3.7 and cwm recovery. I tried manually too but was unsuccessful in it. Help me out guys.
Hello Dear ,
Re download the rom , probably u download corrupted file zip or bad internet during downloading ok & always before u start flashing just do quick test by checking md5 if its same or not ok
Thank You ,

Guide me with the link, custom ROM for lenovo a526
Can you provide me the working link please. Because sometimes I get surveys and all in the link. Guide me with it if you can kindly and ya I didn't get ya... Check md5, what's that?
Emmmmm about md5 the rom developer he should give u the md5 & check it by this app ok
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fab.md5
About working link sorry i don't know what's the rom u download it to mirror it so please for this ask on thread or ask developer for another mirror ok
Hi, I did check my md5 checksum and it was fine. But I once again downloaded the android L.zip file as u said and tried, still same issue. Installation aborted. My backups were successful still my backup won't show in ROM manager backup section whereas in recovery mode it is there. I don't find my custom ROM too, while trying to install ROM from SD card all files and folder I get to see is of internal memory(phone memory). This happens when I open from ROM manager. If I directly go to recovery mode manually volume up+ power button there I see my backups and downloaded custom ROM. I don't know what's the issue maybe because ROM manager doesn't support lenovo a526 because my device was not listed in it. I flashd the cwm recovery manually and choose the 3xx option for recovery. Again for the information my details: phone model - lenovo a526 v4.2.2, ROM manager v5.5.3.7, cwm recovery 3xx . help me man.
Sent from my Lenovo A526 using XDA Free mobile app
Is that rom support ur device ? If yes then it should work just fine mate if not then ask rom developer he only can give u right answer ok mate & about rom manager maybe that's issues ur device not supported ..

Your kernel is installed (because your phone wouldn't even boot without it).
You can try dirty flashing the ROM. Also flash modem images (if it is network problem). You can get the instructions from the General section.
Problem solved !!!

The Screenshot is below. I got stuck in the H2OS 2.0 so I flash the cos12 to save it from bricking. Then I flash the TWRP. When I wanted to flash a CM13,the problem in the screenshot occurred. Need some Help here.
Help,PLZ
I don't have another phone.I gotta fix this as soon as possible in case I don't miss any important phone calls. plz. Somebody gives me a hand.
The problem is that you're not installing the TWRP flashable rom.
See that the zip file of the CM13 build you tried to install is called cm13......bacon-signed-fastboot......zip. So you're trying to install a fastboot rom with a custom recovery, instead of trying to install a custom rom for a custom recovery. That's why TWRP doesn't found any meta-inf folder.
When downloading the rom in the official web be sure to download the one compatible with custom recoveries.

Okay,Thanks. But when I tried another ROM (NucleaRom-V2.1.4-BETA[7.0]-bacon-20161011-0245.zip) ,I failed again. It occurred error 7. The TWRP is universal in many ROMs,right?I used to installed many with it successfully. However, I failed again and again this time.

The 7 error use to happen when you get a bad download and there is missing data. You can compare the md5 of the rom to check if there are missing data or simply download it again, or try another rom.
Also i suggest you to use the latest TugaPower TWRP.

Actually,I'm using the latest TeamWin - TWRP. Here is the screenshot. I downloaded the cm13 official but it didn't work too. Could you give a guide to get a Tugapower TWRP? Maybe it will work with the TugaPower TWRP.

yea,of course. This problem began at my last ROM(H2OS V2.0.1). Is it the main reason? Before that ROM ,everything goes well.

Well, honestly i don't know.
I would suggest you to check if the files you have downloaded are not corrupted in case the computer where you're downloading the roms is corrupt them, i experienced that case. So you can check md5 following this guide: http://forums.androidcentral.com/optimus-v-rooting-roms-hacks/113984-what-md5-how-use-verify-your-download.html
And the TWRP i suggested you is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/unofficial-twrp-3-0-x-tugapower-t3398366. You can install it though fastboot or try with the current recovery you have.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. I'll try as you say.Hope the issues can be solved.:good:
Resurrection Remix 5.7.3 for Micromax Canvas L A108
This is the first ever custom rom developed for the Micromax Canvas L a108 phone that was released in the year 2014 and I definitely think that there are many people who are desperate to get a single custom ROM made for this phone as soon as possible because it has Android KitKat as the last update on this phone and the phone is now aging so to keep the support on I have ported this wonderful Resurrection Remix 5.7.3 for this phone
What's working
Everything that I have tested to my knowledge in the 7 days.
People can definitely post the comments regarding the performance and all other issues in the comments but I have just ported it from the excellent guide made by Ajit Guraya
Instruction to flash the custom ROM
1. make sure to make a nandroid backup before you start doing this because there is always a possibility that everything can go wrong,so it is better to have a backup
2.Boot into the custom recovery (CWM, TWRP, CTR, any other recovery )(the link of the TWRP recovery is now provided )
3.Do a complete clean wipe off the data, cache, system
4.Now head towards the location in which you have stored the file preferably in the SD card so that you don't lose that file while wiping off your data.
5.Now go to install the zip file of the ROM and then the Gapps package.
6.Now reboot.
Booting for the first time it will definitely take some time because install the required packages so wait for some minutes the phone will automatically boot and you will be guided through the initial settings
And voila! you have a brand new Android Marshmallow install on your Micromax Canvas A108
N.B-Installing custom rom you may feel that you have a very shortage of memory so please before doing this stuff you can always go to this thread mentioned below to increase your system partition to 5 GB instead of the normal 1.25 GB so that will get enough space for your applications
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/cwm-recovery-micromax-a108-l-t2867010
But remember if you use the CWM recovery mentioned in that forum then it is not compatible with the new Android Marshmallow custom ROM,What I am suggesting you to just use the EBR files to expand the storage only
Here is the download link for the custom ROM.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TE_MVmvIDqhM6o-pLN9-tg6t2m3MLc9S/view?usp=drivesdk
Now the TWRP recovery is completely fine and ready to be flashed
Download link-https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx7uPg_aat14ZFhJOTBKNGtpZklCWm5LQjUwdnc5UzlKbEtF/view?usp=drivesdk
Thank you master Pratik Rawat for your kind help in getting a TWRP recovery right.
Some notes:
1.Regarding the expansion of the storage if anybody wants to expand the storage with the help of the external SD card then I am sorry that it is not possible because it is a bug in the CyanogenMod 13 upon which our ROM is based do this is one of the prime feature of Android Marshmallow but I regret that is not possible due to the problem from the source.
2. If anybody wants to expand the internal storage then that is possible by the help of the EBR files mentioned in the another forums whose link is given in this post but I want to mention that that is not possible to flash by using the TWRP recovery because it is not having the flashable format so the users have to use the SP Flash tool in order to get that..
To flash TWRP recovery in phone I suggest to install the flashify after rooting the phone with the king root in the Android KitKat.
Please use to TWRP recovery mentioned in the forum instead of the CWM recovery that is mentioned in the another forum because only this recovery is compatible with the Android Kit Kat and above.
3. If any user faces the problem of wiped IMEI then you have to go back to the KitKat by using the format all + download option in the SP Flash tool and then use the MTK engineering mode to write the IMEI.
Update: regarding the Restoration of the IMEI master Pratik Rawat has deviced a method to flash the IMEI number for this everybody is required to flash the package using TWRP recovery after the installation of the custom ROM-
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MXz_9T_ESUkSdE3eTuegndzyqjp1yEPS/view?usp=drivesdk
THEN AFTER THE SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION USERS CAN INSTALL THE CHAMELEON APP AND WRITE THEIR IMEI NUMBER EVEN ON THEIR NEW CUSTOM ROM.
The link to download the application-
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VP3y-xr1JpxQHbDVKvj9O_rpP5mF9RRl/view?usp=drivesdk
I hope for now this much of the information can be useful as of now and further more discussions will be happening as more people will be installing the rom and finding more doubts.
I will be more than happy to help.

Regarding your request to make a video on the process I think I cannot do at the time because I don't have the device right now and for the open gapps you may refer to the smallest package available that is the Pico one for android 6.0.1

If you try to install the custom ROM without having any custom recovery I mean you are trying to install with the stock recovery then you are going to get the same message because it will not allow any installation of foreign software into the mobile

That is the problem that I have mentioned in the main post that I don't have the recovery image with me at the current time because I have lost it and I am not able to do the same thing because my current PC is not taking the parameters correctly.
I need someone to do that for me as it is a very automated process so anyone can do that and see it.
Sorry for this lacunae in the post but at the current time I cannot do anything for the custom recovery for this phone but what I can guarantee you that this custom ROM is perfectly fine for this mobile because I am already use that with my previous custom recovery which I have lost now.

As a matter of fact I want to tell you that this phone is from the company Micromax which is known for its irregularity in releasing any of the resources for the developers I think it has never released the any kind of kernel sources for any devices just the company releases a phone and forgets about it
So the obvious answer is there is no sources available for this phone and just replaced all the files from the stock to port and the ROM is working
No recovery found
Sir

Due to lack of the resources now I am not able to post recovery for mobile but I can give the link website in which there is a very good discussion about what to do and how to port recovery-
https://irisbuddies.blogspot.in/2016/03/how-to-port-philzctrcwmtwrp-recovery-to.html?m=1
But in case if you run into trouble no problem you can always come back to the original version by flashing this file (instruction mentioned in this files)

Good news! The TWRP recovery for this phone is now a work under progress so please be with us until and unless we release it
I found a fix for Huaxing Displays panels issue that persist in Redmi note 5 pro.Follow the steps below
.
Step 1: Download the latest miui official stable rom and the custom rom that you want to install.
Step 2: Extract the zip file and copy the boot image from both the roms. (Dont get confused with which one is which. Make different folders for each boot images)
Step 3: Download latest Android Image Kitchen for Windows. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2073775
Step 4: Unpack both the boot images using AIK Tool
How to https://youtu.be/W9iozjCCyPY
Step 5: Replace custom rom z image file with latest miui z image file and repack it. (Rename the new boot image file to "boot" )
Step 6: Place the new boot image in the custom rom folder and then re zip the rom.
Step 7: Flash the rom.
Nb: Use latest twrp recovery that supports Huaxing Displays. Tested on Pixel experience and PE Extended, should work with other roms as well.
Wifi is not working currently.. Need a fix.

How to know if my phone has hauxing display panel ?
Tried repacking the image and all I got was it hanging on lineage logo then sent back to TWRP.
I replaced ""boot.img-zImage"" from lineage with ""boot.img-zImage"" from MIUI ROM
Was this the right thing?
I flashed the fix above as well, nothing happened

You don't need to do that anymore. Just flash the latest derp kernel zip right after you flash lineage (or any other AOSP based rom), and your screen will work as normal.

Need not do that any more. Just use the latest derp kernel. Flash it after rom instalation.
Can anyone tell me what huaxing panel is?
what is hauxing display?
I also experienced a bug that was very annoying every time I installed the ROM pie, that is, the screen suddenly locked itself without being touched at all, and even then it happened randomly, if back to the ROM Miui everything is normal, is there a solution for this bug ..
and those who are having problems in recovery??
