Hello everyone !
During an update, my phone has reboot and has never start again. I have just access to Fastbooter and the recovery mode.
I wipe data and try to reboot but it doesn't work.
So, i try the mi unlock solution, but the process cannot finish because i never enable usb debugging in developer options.
Do you know how to fix it because i cant turn on my mobile..!
Use mi flash tool in fastboot mode and install latest fastboot ROM. Search tutorials in xda.
Try EDL if nothing is working
I was in your situation and couldn't flash the ROM in fastboot nor could I flash the "normal"rom from recovery with XiaomiADB (from Francesco Tescari). The fastboot flash didn't work at all and the recovery flash was stuck at 96%.
The only working solution for me was to flash via the EDL Mode and the help of QPST.

Please, tell me. Where do you read that you have to enable usb debugging in android to flash factory images in bootloader mode?
Connect the phone to your PC.
Press and hold volume_down+power keys until the phone gets into bootloader mode.
Download 15 secs adb instller http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Download stock rom for nexus 5 https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images and extract it
Run flash-all.bat

Hey,
so, three days ago my Mi4i suddenly turned itself off during the night.
I couldn´t turn it back on, it was stuck on the Cyanogenmod-Logo and wouldn`t go any further.
I couldn´t even enter recovery mode. The only thing I could do was enter Fastboot.
And now Im stuck there.
Tried recovery via Mi PC Suite- it recognised the phone, started recovery, said "finished", but the phone is still in Fastboot.
Same for Mi Flash tool.
Doesn´t matter which ROM i try to flash, I´m still in Fastboot.
Any ideas what I can still try? Or is the phone completely bricked and I need a new one?
Try rebooting by connecting the phone with USB and in CMD running fastboot reboot.
May I know why MIUI did u try flashing on your phone?
If it was Developer ROM. I suggest you to try Global Stable ROMs, This usually fixes everything.
Good luck mate!
Regards,
Sharan
Unfortunately, I did try all that.
Do fastboot commands work? Does your device show up in
fastboot devices?
If yes, Try booting into a recovery using fastboot boot recovery.img
If commands don't work even after you've drivers properly installed(i.e. your PC's fastboot works for other phones), Then I have no idea.
My Redmi Note 6 Pro Global version just rebooted itself out of nowhere and now its showing MI logo and rebooting every 3-5 seconds. I didn't unlock bootloader and had MIUI 10 latest stable version installed. I can still enter fastboot mode. What can I do to fix this?
UPDATE
Over the last few days, these are the things that I've tried:
I can enter Fastboot mode and connect to my PC, but can't enter recovery mode.
I was able to unlock my bootloader (I was in the process of waiting for the 360 hours)
I tried flashing fastboot rom with MiFlash, but when MiFlash causes phone to reboot towards the end of flashing, the bootlooping problem occurs again and it cannot complete flashing.
I also tried flashing TWRP from fastboot, it says that it's successful, but when I try fastboot boot twrp.img, the same problem: MI logo and constant reboots.
I also tried to use fastboot oem edl mode and my phone is recognized as Qualcomm device, but MiFlash can't flash in this mode, saying that hello packet is not received.
At this point, I don't know what else to do and wondering if this is a hardware problem. Any ideas?
Did you tried to press VOL UP + POWER BUTTON after you flash TWRP? If flashing TWRP doesn't work Try to flash Official MIUI RECOVERY 3.0 That's all you can do. Otherwise you should give it to Mi customer service for faster solution.
I have the same problem, did you manage to solve this issue?
hello guys,
here is a solution, open your phone backpart and put your phone to edl mode by testpoint pinout,
then try to flash latest stable rom if fail then flash latest dev rom.

Hi, I have even tried EDL mode to flash latest rom (android 9,miui11.0.4) using Mi flash tool, still facing the same issue.
It constantly reboots while on charging, and it doesn't turn on otherwise(2 Sec of that logo and then it fades away).
Please Help
any one find solution for this?
Hi, my problem is simpler, so is there any suggestion.
after last official update, due to the internal partition was encrypted, update wasn't finished and I am stuck on MI logo when restarted the phone.
bootloader is unlocked and I can enter to (orangefox) recovery, yet I am not sure what is the best way just to return phone to the bootable state? I presume some wiping is to be done, which is not the problem, just to have as short procedure as possible, preferably without need to re-flash clean ROM from recovery?
regards

Hi, i'm in the same situation as you. How did you solve it? with the miunlock app I can't unlock it because it tells me that I have to select something on the phone first, but if the phone doesn't start I can't select anything ..
Try to remove hardware buttons from board and try
redmi 6 pro (bootloader locked)
same problem...
tried methods :
1) using mi flah tool ( error occurred : )
2) edl method (showing: device is locked)
........still stuck on miui logo .........
Hello,
My screen is broken, but the phone is working. I can boot and I feel the phone working and recognising my finger to unlock. However, because I'm stupid and I didn't have the "USB debugging ON" I can't access my files via ADB or via any recovery software.
However, I can boot on fastboot and I see my device on "fastboot devides". Can I do something to access my files from there? I don't know... maybe unlock bootloader and flash any kind of TRWP with full adb or something like that.
THanks ¡
You can try QC fire flash tool wherein from EDL (emergency download, You can go to YouTube for EDL flashing) you should be able to flash custom recovery (I recommend Orangefox recovery 11.1). If you are able to flash the custom recovery you can boot into the recovery and get data via USB to your PC. Remember only to flash Recovery.img and not other IMG files
I am trying to flash to stock/global firmware from T-Mobiles. I have already unlocked the bootloader but I am confused on what to do next. Some people say all you need to do is flash the system and boot images. But when i try to flash the system it says unknown partition. If I try to flash everything it says Critical partitions can not be flashed and I dont know how to unlock them, fastboot flashing unlock_critical is an unknown command. Please help!
Try on adb using " adb reboot fastboot" reboot to fastbootd and flash system, vendor.

Ive progressed a bit and decided to use MSM Download Tool. Although I cant seem to get into EDL mode. My phone is bricked so i cant use adb, and fastboot commands dont seem to be working. Ive tried button combinations but they just lead me either into recovery mode or fastboot mode.
In fastboot, type fastboot reboot fastboot see whether can boot into fastbootd or not.

This is a very simple fix. You can boot into fastboot, do that again, and flash LineageOS Recovery while your there
Boot into recovery, choose advanced options, than enable ADB. Boom, now you can use ADB on your bricked phone.
.
The command you're looking for once there is "adb reboot edl"
Also a lot of the guides on how to convert to Global either use broken methods, or link to the wrong files. If I had a dollar eveytime someone messaged me about following a guide and ending in crash dump mode I'd have a lot of dollars. DM me if you wanna know how to get to global and you're struggling.
